I went to Scotland exactly a week between two floods and storms this month, and it was lovely, sunny and warm. I was always saying that I'd move to Scotland in a heartbeat if not for the weather... and that week there convinced me to move. So I've been watching your videos trying to find bad weather and any info that will make me change my mind about moving to this country... but all I see is beauty, amazing food and occasional sunshine in your videos. Thank you, I'm getting convinced even more, even knowing that this is, indeed, false advertisement lol 😆

Love that road through Drumbeg. I see the tide was out at Clashnessie beach, the last time I was on there it was swarming with Cleggs. When we were young we used to call the castle the “fairy castle”. Great trip.

This series was absolutely wonderful to watch! I really appreciate how much effort you both put into these and all your videos. The quirkiness is a delightful added bonus. ❤❤

Lovely Jubbly, as I've only been as high as Dundee when visiting Scotland, thanks for these wonderful videos.

I love the NC500 route - we did it counter clockwise and in 4 days which was probably a bit too tight, but it was awesome. Great video :)

Excellent series! Thank you for bringing all these beautiful views here and motivating me to plan the NC500. Hoping for still decent-ish weather (for Scottish standards) in September. If you loved the coastal road trip, I absolutely recommend travelling around the coast of Cornwall around June/July just before school holidays (to avoid crowds). Just as beautiful, lots of places to visit, lovely people and the weather's more certain. One of the best holiday trips I've ever had.

Cornwall sounds wonderful! Putting it on my list!
September is usually has decent weather, or at least I personally remember may Septembers that felt very pleasant! That said, 2023 so far has been really unpredictable (more than usual I mean, so this is SERIOUS! haha)!

Missed out on Knockan Crag, Ullapool, Gairloch & Poolewe (the Gardens/Forest there!!). And the mountains of the North West!
    But still, an enjoyable watch.
Wedding Day...? I'd need a good memory to go back THAT far.
And the weather CAN be as good as this in Scotland, and regularly is. But you sometimes get sunshine, then cloud, then rain (or even hail), then sun again - all before mid-afternoon
    Carry on the videos...please!

My wife and I waited to watch all 3 of these together and it was fantastic. I've lived in Scotland most of my life and despite travelling around so many of it, the country never fails to blow me away each time I do travel, a very special place that delivers quite magical moments at times. Beautiful drone shots as well, really added to the footage of this amazing trip. Thank you for sharing it with us :)

Thank you! So cool to hear you watched it Lord of the Rings trilogy style like that! Except... these don't take 10 hours to finish 😅

Loved this series. Love seeing these beautiful scenes of Scotland as well as local food and craft shops. I also have those boats with the names of Scottish towns written on them 😂 I know they aren't unique but I find them charming and a small memory of where I got them.

Absolutely stunning. Through your footage, it’s even more beautiful than I had already seen just through photos. Scotland has beautiful beaches. I wish you had spotted an octopus. 🙃 Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.

Will need to look into if there are any native octopods around Scotland... and then embark on a journey to meet one! Apparently quite a lot of jellyfish in the water though - haven't managed to say hi to any though ./

What a worthy conclusion to your adventure, I sat with an open mouth during large parts of it. I am not sure what was best, the stunning, almost extraterrestrial landscape or the filming and editing. Fantastic job.🤩

My favourite part of Scotland is at the beaches of Arisaig and Mallaig and the trip there from Fort William on the way. If you take the train from Fort William (the Harry Potter train), it’s supposed to be the most beautiful in the world

Beauty documented! Your intro got me revved up to see the sights and it didn't disappoint. I can't wait to see some of those places myself. You've provided some wonderful insight here, so thank you! I'll be moving in the opposite direction up to Lochinver, then down to Inverness. Can't wait to decompress there! Cheers folks!
