    The Ninja Creami is taking over the internet and while it boasts of creating the best homemade ice cream, gelato, sorbet, smoothie bowls and milkshakes, perhaps the most popular thing it makes right now is protein ice cream.
    Using 3 simple ingredients I tested 3 viral recipes I found on tiktok to see if they live up to the hype and if this viral ice cream machine is really worth it.
    What do you think? Worth it?!

    The A2 milk is easier to digest because there are two types of protein in milk - modern day, A2 protein is found in Jersey cattle milk. Back in the middle ages, it was the only protien. But there was a genetic mutation in the cattle, and A1 became the dominant protien in Holstein cattle. The majority of cattle in the commercial dairy world today have the A1 gene, but more dairys are moving back to the Jersey cattle and the A2 protein because it's so much easier to digest.

    Mint is a menthol so when it's cold the oil isn't able to easily evaporate and be detected by your sinuses. Use a few drops of mint extract.

      @@Nicole_TheNomadhow are you allergic to pineapple? If you mean you get minor irritation in your mouth/throat, it is not an allergic reaction. Everybody feels that irritation after they eat pineapple. It is just the enzymes of the pineapple eating you away lol. If you soak the chunks in salt water, those enzymes are dissolved and you will not feel that irritation anymore v

    Yes half of the splash of milk you added is better also you have to add the topping in the middle from the bottom to the top or will stay only on top. I normally use a butter knife to make a whole in the middle if the machine didn't leave one

    Really fun video! I love watching people make Creami recipes. It’s really sort of an art. I did one with 8 oz 2% Fairlife and a scoop of Quest Salted Caramel protein powder and it was so good. I had to do a few respins, but have found a tablespoon of milk on the first respin really helps. My freezer is cold so I have to set the Creami in the counter before I even start mixing it on lite ice cream. I even run it under hot water too.

    • @Nicole_TheNomad

    • @Millasoaps
      @Millasoaps 10 місяців тому

      @@Nicole_TheNomad I’m new to protein powders, so I’ve haven’t tried a lot. I ordered some PEScience samples to try. I’m also trying 8 oz water, scoop of protein and 7 g SF pudding mix to keep calories down and flavor strong. My husband and I like to share a pint and don’t even want a whole pint.

      Defrosting a bit helps a LOT; otherwise the mixture at the bottom and around the sides of the pint don't get incorporated.

    Sometimes if the ice cream is like the s’mores one you just press the re-spin button and it goes for a little less time but it makes it creamy (Sometimes you have to add the milk when you re-spin it!)

    Really like these videos because there is not enough good creami recipes online. The second one you definetely added way too much milk haha usually only a super small splash is needed otherwise you are going to defrost it too much.
    Also for the mix-ins, try making a hole that almost reaches the bottom and putting the mix there. Otherwise you only mix it on top

    Also if you make a hole all the way to the bottom in the center to add the mix ins it spreads it more evenly.

    I wonder why they didn't make the interior bottom of the pints flat. Here's a tip: processing on Gelato will give you a denser result, even with a re-spin. The Light Ice Cream setting works more air into your mixture.
