Thanks for showing your process :D A few tips from the technical side of things for folks... Making a new sculpt the same as another sculpt (eg. 2 different size spheres) costs a chunk of gameplay and a chunk of graphics. A clone of a sculpt (eg. copying a sphere sculpt and resizing it) costs a chunk of gameplay and *nothing* on graphics. And if you were to add the sphere to an existing sculpt (eg. the bottom of the upper arm, or the top of the lower arm) it would cost *nothing* on gameplay, and less on graphics than making a new sphere sculpt. "Live" sculpts are very useful for characters, allowing changes after making a sculpt to carry across to all the live clones of the sculpt. (eg. The left eyebrow's changes would automatically change the right eyebrow.) You can find live cloning features in the clone tool. It's easier to see what you're doing when assigning body parts if you have stuff jointed up beforehand. Then each button will light up when it's assigned, which makes it clear if it's assigned correctly, and which ones you've already done. "X-ray" and "see-through"... I'm guessing are both referring to the x-ray setting in the show/hide menu. I have tips more focussed on the rigging side of the things, along with tips for problems you can come up against over here: ua-cam.com/play/PLX3qX-yI9vm5PKv_iq8l1ItkX6zZ3uXun.html
I appreciate the extra information on the technical side of things. You really know your stuff 👍 this time around It was more of an art tutorial than a logic based one. Hopefully I am doing the best I can to explain things clearly and honestly for everyone in these tutorials. Feel free to let me know where I can improve.
You know, having nice characters and animations is cool and all, but nothing is as important in a fighting game as balancing. I think it would be cool to make a video on balancing for people who are looking to make a fighting game of their own. Thanks!
It’s a great video, but what did you do to make all of this? I need details the tools, the ins and outs currently just a time lapse video of you showing us you created this character but how did you do it slow it down give us the three hours lol
I hear ya and I accept the criticism. Honestly a live stream with commentary as I work might be a better way to showcase the process. At the time, I made the video specifically for the Dreams community so the tools were already well known amongst everyone since it was out for 5 years at that point. But for the outsiders who’ve never heard of dreams, I can see how more info on the sculpt tools could be valuable if they’re looking to pickup the software for the first time. It just didn’t occur to me in that moment. My mistake but I’ll remember that for next time. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
Oh yea for sure. I made the character to go alongside Queen Bee & reference the famous quote, “float like a butterfly sting like a bee” just to be corny lol
Yeah sure. You can send me screenshots on Twitter or instagram. Same name Cassius_Creed. If you’re on dreams just search me up and you can send something there as well.
If you’re talking about using Dreams to create final fantasy like characters, then yes it is possible 👍 I have more of a cartoony style so for me, creating characters in that style isn’t my strong suit. But there’s literally no limit to what you can come up with in Dreams.
Even if the servers shut down completely, people will still have access to Dreams locally. So creating on the platform in the future won’t be an issue really.
Thanks for the mention, this is fantastic!!😄👍😁😁
If course and no prob dude 👍
@@cassiuscreed6892 I look forward to more videos

You should make more speed design videos like this
You should do voice over time lapse of stuff like charecter sculpting & animation
If that’s what you’d like to see in the future, I can certainly do that for time lapse videos no prob 👍
Is it possible to customize an already made character from the dream verse?
If the person published it online and it’s remixable then yes you can. if it’s not remixable, you can’t do anything with it.

Balancing sounds like an interesting subject to cover. I’ll look into it 😎

So is the butterfly is going to be another new character I would love to see that

How to make you're animation? I mean face animation and smooth animation
I could definitely do a video on that kind of subject. Facial expressions and smooth animations are pretty fun to work with.
Hey bro can you help me make a Horror Game?
What you gonna do after dreams ends
Tho?
