when I think of Krypto before I saw the trailer , I had thought of this channel. Wow! You’ve been carrying the torch for Krypto!! how rewarding. Excellent video btw!!
Love the passion you're sharing for Krypto. Thanks for sharing that and how it's shaped your collecting! FYI, Kotobukiya has a Krypto figure that came with Jon Kent. Though it isn't derpy, it might have a place on your shelf!
I will admit; I am sub'd to your channel but had almost forgotten about it because I think you took a break for a while and I had not really seen you again until recently. I sub'd to your channel back when I was new to the CB Community on YT. I never got a chance to watch any of your older videos, so I had no idea you loved Krypto. I am not a Superman fan, even though I enjoy his older silver age stuff, but I am a Superboy fan (mostly because my eldest daughter loved watching Smallville, and it was the first time we shared a moment over a comic book character). I had heard there was a new Superman movie coming out, but I really did get excited or even give it a second thought to be honest. Superman (the original movie in the 70's) was one of only 2 movies that my dad took me to growing up. He hated comic books, but like all little kids I bugged him to death and remember telling him over and over; _But dad! If you take me to just this one movie, you will believe a man can fly!_ LOL But even though I have that little golden nugget of my childhood memories, Superman was still never a top 10 comic for me. I really did try to like him again when the New 52 came out, and I bought every issue of Superman, Action, Unchained, and back ordered runs like All Star Superman. When I traded a lot of my comics away, Nate was interested in my Superman/Superboy collection, but could not pull off a trade and was not able to buy them. So, I sent every single one of them to him for free. That is how much I am not invested in SM. *BUT* just the other day I logged onto YT in the morning, and I see all these random videos; like; "Live stream reaction to Superman trailer", etc. etc. I couldn't find anything I wanted to watch right then (only had like 30 minutes before I had to work); so I clicked on the video of the premier that was on the DC UA-cam page. I watched it with no reaction for the first few moments; and I truly had no idea what the movie was going to be about, or who was going to be in it, but then it showed Kal blowing that high pitched whistle.... I sat up straight and my jaw opened a little as I gapped at the huge "blowing snowball" coming his way. I thought; "You got to be kidding me", as my Blood Pressure rose... it flashed to some other part of the trailer, then finally back to Clark... And *Krypto!* I will admit without shame, that I started tearing up at that moment, and a huge lump was in my throat. You see; I may not be a SM super fan, but I am a dog lover. I was so excited that I woke up my wife to show her the trailer (she was not very happy), but I just had to spread the news, because she loves dogs too, but was not as excited as I. All day long, I watched every clip, listened to every recap, and watched reaction videos, and I thought about the fuzzy little toy dog that I am sure I will be able to buy soon at a Wal-Mart. LOL After all this long windedness; I just came here to say; this is my favorite comic related YT video I have ever seen. I love that you love Krypto so much! I think that is wonderful!!!!! If I had a 9.8 first appearance of his first appearance, I know 100%, that I would be asking for your address now so I could send it to you. Brother, you made my night.. this video has touched me and I "love how you love". Never change your love for Krypto, or all the _Good Boys_ you have had throughout the years. I also love all my dogs, from my first dog in 1971; "9-Ball", to my current baby girl; "Maka". They have made my life more special than any human ever could, and now your video, has a special place in my heart as well. Thank you so much for making it.
Krypto is the best boy! Superman #287 was the first Superman comic I got off the spinner racks as a kid in the 70s, and one of the first super-hero comics I ever got. My favorite Krypto toy is the figure that comes with the Darwyn Cooke Supergirl figure from the Dc Direct line. And those Amanda Connor Krypto variants are amazing. Love them!
Krypto is an important part of the Superman mythos. He's an alien who is desperate to be human, and nothing humanizes someone more than loving a dog and having a dog love them. Being mean to a dog is a short-cut in movies to show that someone is bad, or when a woman brings her new guy around and the family dog grows at him it's a sign that he isn't trustworthy etc. The relationship between Sups and Krypto lets us relate to his humanity, even when he and the people around him struggle with that. Merry Christmas!
I liked the Christmas present part shaking the presents and having the camera light in the box when you opened it. That was a good shot was a good opening. As for the last few minutes I think only the super fans of that genre complain most normal superhero fans and just happy to see one of there favorite fictional characters on the big screen or a tv show remember the cw dc shows they weren’t the best but at the time that’s all dc or super hero fans had going for them. Now days Disney drops something Star Wars every year and something marvel every year and yet people will take to the internets and complain about it. And we get something from dc every year so fans are really the winners here when we use to not have much of anything you know just a couple of shows on the cw and some Sam rami spider man flicks. Now a days we are spoiled rotten except for madam web I think they showed the best parts in the trailer and then we had the rug pulled out from our feet when we watched it. Dang Sony just take the time to make a good movie why don’t you Sony just turning out garbage to keep the Spider-Man rights. But I hear Kraven isn’t to bad. Anyway sorry for the rant Ricky Stanicky. Your pal Travis
The SECOND that I saw Krypto in the trailer, I went right to Instagram and UA-cam to patiently wait for your reaction, neither of the posts disappointed. Such wholesome excitement. I for one will be seeing this in the theater.
I love your love of Krypto. This is the first time I've been excited for a Superman movie since Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.

This is your moment my friend, enjoy it!
I've been eagerly waiting for you to post about Krypto after the trailer dropped. Thanks for sharing your Krypto collection.
Amazing collection ❤ it's a great time for Superman fans. Enjoy!
I'm with you. As a life long dog owner, I have a soft spot for any dogs.
Really cool collection
The intro to this video was absolutely amazing. Kudos!
Sweet kind of missing❤
We don’t deserve dogs. I miss mine everyday. He was my life
When i first saw the trailer, i instantly thought to myself, "Self, how long do you think it will take Ricky to post a video about Krypto?"
As soon as I saw him I thought of you!!! He’s such a good boy!
This simulation is yours right now Ricky❤
