Hey man! Any tips on how to secure the rotary scissor head to the extended shaft? I have the RYOBI 40V, and for some reason keeps getting loose,I used the right adapter for it and lined up the notches on both ends! Appreciate any advise thanks!
@@miguelbustamante3361 i wish i could be more help. I don’t have experience with the ryobi trimmer. I know there are other on UA-cam that have made the conversion with that trimmer. I will dig around and see if i can find anything and post to this thread if i find something 👍🏻

I have a question: I bought the rotary scissors to try it out. My 25cc trimmer does not have enough power to rotate the blades. Then, I bought a Greenworks 80v trimmer, and the scissor worked for about 10 minutes. However, the electrical trimmer is not able to spin the scissors again. Any suggestions? I really appreciate any help you can provide.
The 25cc trimmer is not completing surprising as i have heard that rotary scissors adapted to a gas trimmer should have a minimum of 30cc. Rotary scissors do require a lot of torque which is why electric is actually a better option when adapting rotary scissors as there is instance torque. I would think that the green works trimmer being a 80v would have plenty of power. I have not seen rotary scissors adapter to greens as of yet and have only seen them adapted to ego, Ryobi, and Milwaukee. Not that i would think this is the reason but have you sprayed any type of lubricant on the blade? This may help to free them up ?

I would assume it would work but can’t be a 100 percent. My reasons was it just made more sense to use a attachment as i already had the power unit. I also didn’t want to get rid of a string trimmer as in my opinion the rotary scissors are awesome but there are a few times it’s better to use a string trimmer. Hope this helps 👍🏻
