This game mode is awesome!!! I just hope they can set up some servers that will allow you to join games with random people arcade multiplayer in Space Engineers...the game would explode

That quote will be legendary
it would be really cool if they did exactly as jack was agreeing to, where we have asteroids and maybe even abandoned POIs for extra resources, similar to like Homeworld were you need resource collectors or something as some sort of fleet upkeep, that way you can just keep pushing out vessels, defenses, and other stuff.

Yeah me too, but then things would get chaotic so I see why they didn't add it
True… but they said they will eventually allow you to spawn workshop blueprints in the scenario… now THAT will be chaos

2 things
1. Great that player guns actually do damage now it looks like and 2 we need a turret for anti hydromen but one has well for corridors that like you said isn’t impossible to get past
ANALYZE ALL BLOCKS QUICKLY
You should respawn with tools.
Start with some player made missiles.
Also a mining drone with a warhead could be a great strategy - have it go towards enemy (and slow down when near asteroid, start drilling)
Respawning at Surv Kit or Med Room should provide you with a set of tools from cargo to match your hotbar config. And this should work with spawn with tools disabled as long as there is tools in cargo, so you don't have magically appearing tools anymore.
Counter opinion: No team ready button for the other team to see. Allow the teams to go all in from the get-go or try to strengthen their defense. Something more diagetic than a button would be "these are the last few ships of the strike force that recovered the core. As you can see, they are very damaged" and then allow them to build turrets on the base or the ships
Also, maybe weaken the power on the jetpacks? Hydromanning is way too viable with that many people.
Lastly, the distance between bases is great, yes. However, and remember that this is my opinion here, i find this to be good. It forces you to be on your toes and to plan ahead. You dont want your team at the others base when yours is being attacked, so you should ve motivated to have at least one person stay or even have a ship hang back so that it can quickly peel off and rtb in order to slow the enemy's attack.
Other than that, a pretty cool gamemode

looks like it's mostly decorative blocks. I saw:
new storage containers(drums, large cases)
what looked like a block with two built in LCDs
a media center tv
a strange block with two small locker doors?(maybe a new spinner block with décor on each side)
mew mesh for gyroscopes
new signs? (I don't remember the camera surveillance and mechanical signs. I could be wrong)
all I've seen thus far, and all towards the beginning while they brief and prep.
Yes seems to have nothing to do with warfare, already disappointed, maybe that's why keen gave jack the exclusive
Predictions:
Owen crash a ship and/or the ship.
Castle savages said ship, saying the C-word many times while do it.
Jack stresses out about monetization. His pleas for civility are largely ignored.
Finn repairs the guns, just the guns, only to discover they're somehow out of ammo already.
Collier mentions his Nan multiple times.
Collier Nan appears in the post credits trailer, plotting some evil plan to bring down all the major power in the galaxy. The Big Bad has made her first appearance.
Gotta love how "this might summon clang" is such a terrifying phrase to me now
As far as new content, I'm only seeing a new animated weapon case and a storage drum.

31:22 Not sure exactly but it may be possible the jump drive was locked onto the base and still trying to jump to the base which you're already at so it came up as something blocking the jump. I believe if someone was aboard it would jump anyway and anyone not seated would be left behind.

That Red ship looks similar to the ship I resently built only this looks way cool but still a similar shape I was going for why does mine look so much worse?
I have only had the game since early this year so get my skill level is low and I am not familiar with all blocks.

As you were saying maybe more teams would be good, but its divided between re and blue, well remember that there is also a yellow team and a green team. Keen if your listening then add these two teams to it and give us customization options for the matches.
Have you ever heard of Starcore? This is like the vanilla version of those tournaments.

just my $.02
a larger encounter field with other resource nodes available.
a half a dozen bases to choose from and certainly place them further apart say 2 Jump's distance.
place other things like neutral bases and stations that can be captured akin to a Capture the Flag style game.
add in the starting element of Never Surrender where until you Activate the Timer to go after the other base or bases for more than 2 team engagements.
the teams are free to mine, build or whatever.
in other words, no time limit for build up. once ready, the teams press their engagement buttons.
the Clock starts once3 the last team activates their timer and it's clobber'n time!
The fact that decoys are so broke you literally have to make a giant propeller to make them work somewhat like they should is ridiculous. Space engineers is the only game I've heard of that you have to vote to fix the broken parts of the game, so sad for the game. When there is an issue there is like 100 different posts with many votes that don't get added together so people just give up. Game could be so much more.

The decoy on rotor arms trick won't work, Keen changed the target selection to nerf the decoys a bit. Now they have to be closest as well, decoys won't always be targeted first.
Have the explosive barrels got a actual purpose where you would want them on your ship or in your base? If not then what is the point?

Redesign interior turret's to be a normal sized and small sized. Small is cheaper and faster to build but very limited on range, power output and rate of fire. The normal would be cut in half for power out right (making the small 25% of current power). The trade off is resource consumption per turret. This would nerf them while also giving more options for sneaking defenses. As for the game mode. I could see a 3vs mode with 2 having nodes and 1 not but the 2 with are planet based with no options to get off planet unless they build. while the 1 without is in space with no options to safely land on surface, thus needing to build. all teams are spawned on diff planets/locations each time so they never end up starting on the same spot or planet. The goal is 1 team to own both nodes for 15m. 4 hour timer for the whole thing, 1 hour prebuild with 3 hours of doing whatever to win. That would be nice/fun and interesting to watch.
so whats the actual update? I didn't see any new weapons or anything that would fit into the name "warfare evolution"
Hydromanning feels a bit too good. EDIT: will be even worse with more players

Has anybody ran into a bug that locks your volume at 0? I just recently encountered this bug and have tried every fix I could find, but nothing has worked
game volume or windows volume? if game rename your SpaceEngineers.cfg, if windows go to sound settings and untick allow applications to control this device on your audio driver
(these are bandaid solutions I don't actually know why your game is doing that)

Well at least this scenario looks a lot more fun than that last piece of trash arena they put out... seriously the Uranium Heist is about the dumbest thing they've ever added to the game. At least we wont have to wait a year for this update hopefully but it does just look like reskinned blocks again
