Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 гру 2020
- Players who have been taking part in the PVE side of our server now have there chance to take over the central Drone Hive. There objective is simple to enter a series of shutdown codes into the AI core causing the remaining drones to shutdown and fall from the sky.

This is all I’ve ever wanted to do in SE, a scenario where your goal is to fight off and eventually take back your planet from drone forces, but I would take it a step further and add other planets, meaning that if you get pushed off of your planet you could evacuate to another one and rebuild , only to then fight in space In order to land on and attempt to retake your own planet, just think about it. The possibilities are there
If they implement this, i'll buy the game right away
The possibility your planet will always be taken over because your not online to defend it..... And most times ukkf probably not prepare to defend, because like I mentioned your not online, event will start whenever. Anyways that how I see this as a problem.
@@TheDragonfriday I was more referring to a solely pve scenario, meaning you could easily do this alone or with friends if you wish, and if you know what your doing the online issue can be managed,
Once we were the last group left after a free for all alliance war and I remember a group had been just building drones for such a occasion that they lost in a war.. Then I remember hiding in a dead ship as drones killed the whole of my team with nothing but a pistol... And when I thought it was safe but then BANG fucking straight threw the wind shield.. Fucking scared the crap out of me
@@tacotuesday2489 now THAT sounds like fun, did you happen to record it?
Two years ago, one of my buddies managed to get a really expensive server from his company for free, so we decided to create a similar scenario for our friends with it.
I spawned in about 7 (?) planets including some moons, only one of them was Earth-like, all others were complete hell holes from the workshop. They had to start on a postapocalyptic Mars-like planet as survivors in underground shelters, where they had to gather ressources mostly from going onto scavanging trips into destroyed cities I placed there. (I actually built those cities together with a friend and then we spent hours upon hours blasting them to hell again, so they'd look like ruins from a long past war against the hive drones).
Their goal was to escape from their starting planet and go on an exodus to find a new home, the Earth-like planet. This planet was the furthest away from their starting position, so the enemies there would become harder and harder to fight. The planet itself was defended by my admins and myself, so we were pretty much their endboss. They had to destroy the beacon within our main base to take over the planet entirely and win the scenario.
On their exodus, they would come across radioactive wasteland planets, frozen ice balls, vulcanic fire pits and just barren destert planets, each of them having special ressources avaivable which couldn't be found on the others and also different enemies they had to deal with first. Later on, they told me that it was a quiet depressing experience everytime they had to move on after putting so much effort into getting access to those ressources, unsure if they had stocked up enough for the rest of their search.
We started the server in February and it took them till early June till they got there. It was a fucking epic journey for all of them. We talked about it after they won and they actually told me that they have never been so sad about a game coming to an end, so we continued the scenario with the new goal of building up a new civilisation on this planet while wiping out the remaining enemy forces on it and dealing with certain catastrophies.
After this little experiment, it's kinda sad to see how limited your usual SE experience on rented servers is just because of the performance. It might take years till we are able to play this game on a scale that feels like you can do everything you want without turning it into a slide show.
i think one of my favorite things about these battles is watching these cool ships go up, fight and win the battle, and come home with half of what they started. Pristine ships turning into wartorn wrecks is a whole aesthetic i can get behind
^this
@@cactuscraze4877 ^this
Be cool to see one that goes in with ablative armor that regenerates, self welds weapons and repairs its core components on the fly. It would be a heavy MOFO but it would be a hell of a tank !
I love when people use recks as cover.. One time two big groups were fighting over a scrap yard and I used a helicopters machine ( the ones on the side ) to tear threw there reinforcements laughing like a mad man
I thought that there would’ve been a dedicated carrier for the fighters.
i remember having to hold on for dear life as Zapp is doing spins, dives, the whole lot while i was on top
The use of parachutes to force a tighter turn was amazing, I've got to experiment with that at some point, both in SE and other games.
I did that in a crash landing once and it ripped my ship in half which was carrying a research vehicle which fucking plumited to the ground killing everyone inside
taking a step back and appreciating the server hamster that made this battle possible without imploding and bursting into flames.
The blockade runner!! Aww really wanted to see the thing bust through the drone defence
Anyways, really great PVE match. The little drones pack some punch huh?
We all saw thomas the rambo train out there taking down drone like a god
"They got loads of great fighters" - While looking at a hauler, with the word HAULER on its side. :D
This is why i like space engineers
Exactly, that and I can build ships to my desire and image
Aaron is using these servers to develop new tech for when colony wars 2 comes out.
15:56 this looks so epic
20:46 onwards is great too
There’s no need for a slow motion mode in space engineers. Mate space engineers is the slow mode.
That is the taxi from the fifth element with Bruce Willis
If I was able to play this server I'd 100% have built a blockade runner and just speed into the station.
Finally another battle. I love your battles dude. These are great!! I've loved your videos over the years. Glad you're still making them after all this time.
LSG: is that conrod?
conrod: IM READY. . . HOW ABOUT YOU!!!!!
That was the most beautiful battle I have ever seen, from scene and pure war factor. Good jorb.
What I'd give just to even spectate some of these battles, as they are really quite impressive even in a edited video. Cheers for Sharing Arron great vid!
Cracking fight! Really reminded me of the end of ready player one with the almalgamation of all the different builds.
Open up an entire starsystem server with tons of planets and stars (voxel planets that kill you if you enter them) mini star systems and controllable territories.
Love the taxi, it's a reference to beyond good and evil. Hidden gem that game. Beautiful story
I thought the taxi was the one from the fifth element
@@loco4halo1 yes, but they all got it from where even star wars took a lot of things, valerian and laureline sci fi comics book
@@jh5kl I don't think they all did
this was good the quality of this is fantastic. Probably one of the best battles
Loved the video LastStandGamers! Is it just me or are we going to ignore the fact that as Aaron was saying "We've got the bigger ships here." He was looking right at someone's build of the Blue Corellian CR-90 Corvette from Phoenix cell on Star Wars Rebels?
know nothing about the game/ just got it but stuff like this gets me balls deep into SE. the capabilities of this game are absolutely magnificent. Consider my next steam 1000h planned. this game is here to stay
I heard there was a gundam, I’m here
5:30 “it’s just a torso flying about” I mean, so was the Zeong and that thing managed to take out the Gundam the protagonist was piloting so I wouldn’t really say it needs legs
This deserves more views!
I wish some player had hidden a super weapon that could take out the whole base in one shot. Like a massive carrier that warps in overhead and just demolishes everything
so badass with that zapp ship it’s sick watching it tank loads of missiles and come out basically spotless with many of its guns still working
Inagine a hidden sawblade that would just slice ships in half
OMG, that was beautiful!
Can you do more of these types of videos. Maybe a drone carrier vs a mon cal were players use xwings ywings and such to destroy it.
That looks like the taxi Bruce Willis drives in The fifth element
20:30 drone just gives up on life
Completely amazing! I hope one day I can participate :) Fleet battles in space engineers are the dream ya know... Watched it before but came back to watch again and comment a year later ...haha IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET THAT A.I. SCRIPT? On your discord for a long time ...I'll check it out...
I wish I had the patience and friends to do things like this it looks like it could be fun but I Don't have enough friends
what if you make a huge drone control ship that looks like Thanos ship in End game? like maybe drone hangar bays in the bottom, maybe a few larger drones coming out of the back ect
This was amazing!
That is such a cool Gundam!!!
Waiting on that unreleased video.
everyone here doesn't realize this is a SURVIVAL GAME. How is this possible!?
Could you post one of those drones on the workshop or show how they work in a vid?
Are these drones on the Workshop? I want to test my CBR fleets against them
Is this battlefield? Lol
The battle was honestly unlike anything I have ever seen real-time in a game before lol
That yellow taxi...good movie.
5th element right
so enjoyed the final battle should see if it possible to make a vehicle version of the drones for the mad Arron server.. that would be heart wrenching to see them driving up in small groups realizing.. they followed us here and evolved.
An idea for a video:
If you get the Atlas Super Laser mod, you could build a base with like three, maybe four of these lasers online and players have got to land down on the planet and secure/destroy the base whilst ensuring that there own carrier of the sorts isn't taken out so it adds like a timer to the conflict.
Don't think it would be fair
Arron tries to avoid using any mods that add new blocks, the idea is that any build on the server can work on any other server. The Gulf, with Takeshi's Plane Parts, is the only season with an exception to that role.
@@njrasha Ahhh fair enough, i thought it would be an interesting idea but i get why he wouldn't do that then, still, an idea that i thought would be fun for others to do.
I like the idea of an Atlas Superlaser mod server... just make it so one: players can't build them so no one just makes super lasers, and two: not too many of the objectives have superlasers
Imagine there ship crashes and they have to use their remaining weapons and vehicles to push through the base and maybe a mech
This was so good, and the way they all fell out of the sky when deactivated - how did you get them to do that ? Anyway amazing content with these drones, pls do more creative stuff like this. Let players use *guidance scripts for missiles* - if the server can handle 100s of drones, it can handle a few scripts :)
They just fall from gravity lol, if theres no thrusters and/or gyros theyre pretty much fuqqed
I honestly think that if the drones do not go underneath, my ship, the OWI atmospheric, the second and final OWI cruiser, will win. It has a lot of dorsal side firepower. A lot of point defense and a couple rockets
Imagine being a small group so you buy a emp from a sketchy man and you only have ten minutes in and out to get the code put in
Im only half way through the vid and this is amazing. Totally how SE should always be!
I also have a suggestion for another event: Cavern racing! Enormous caves (dug out or better yet, procedurally generated via script) that expand like river streams, interlinking and looping back on itself. Full of pillars, stalactites and stalagmites, and waypoints players have to pass, first one to hit them all wins.
What would be awsome is a city war in a huge city so you would use your feet and cars and maybe even huge mechs or a bounty hunt where someone has to blend in
@@tacotuesday2489 that would also be cool, yes
Now i just want to see if tactics would be viable in this enviorment. If they have a top speed you can have a rather tight ship formation then kite their outer most formation slowly whittling them down.
I would love to jump into some of these fights for sure but you should also consider having a "Test your might" season as well where ppl can test out their ships against say... 10 to 20 drones with 3 mid ships. Leave the big ship as like a final boss n see what players come up with.
Late reply but I just saw this video = )
that was epic
What about welding up missiles which accelerate and release a cloud of armour blocks like flak to attack drone swarms?
Epic battle, subpar camera work. Surely a controller would help provide smooth panning?
That Trilobite design looks lovely! Anyone know if they'll upload them to the workshop or something?
2500 drones
That's alot of drones
Holy shit
I would think a small ship could be sent around the fighting and drop someone off to disable the factory.
Only issue with that is the base had plenty of defenses, as you saw when Cheeky was destroyed. Ultimately though, someone did manage to make a very hot landing in the hangar and sneak past the turrets to input the code
@@njrasha yea Revan rammed his delorean into the hanger. I believe that's what it was
My good this is the end of space enge
my mans died before he could finish the sentence
Yes indeed they did d
From the title I heard nothing but pain
I miss a big Loutus bomber.. for orbit striks
Imagine having a huge fucking laser that just tore threw anything.. You could take down a huge ship from space and watch it crash and burn the occupants alive
the sniping tentacle shouldve been the final boss
Man these look like serious fun. Once I get a computer and a transfer from console to it. I'm so signing up onto one of these servers. Even as a solo. It would be so fun to bring out Ragnarok's harbinger
Imagine a huge trench warfare with world war one like tanks and planes maybe with old stylish mechs and robot horses
@@tacotuesday2489 that would be lots of fun. Just to be able to play with others. Combat against builds.
Hel I already have a "war horse" build that would be funny to see it sliding along the ground shooting at steampunkish mechs
someone needs to get the gundam bp that is fire
the yellow taxi is the one form the fifth element if u never watched it i recommend u do it is a good movie
Could you do a video on how to start a base in space after you leave earth planet please I’m really confused how I should do it?
Dude i barely knew how to start one before some nice guy told me how
Is the taxi from the movie Traumschiff surprise?
Space taxi to the sky (space)
The holes of war
are the drones a mode? really want to try out my self
What I've learned: Guns > missiles
They may be quicker but they need more hots to punch through armour
@@343sinbad That can be easily fixed by spamming lots of them and besides, missiles have terrible accuracy at long range
I was hoping Thomas the train engine would ram something playing the Thomas theme ;(
Make a giant ramming drone called those hammer
And only you can controlle it Arron
should involve the Atlas Super Laser mod.
I don't have PC Capable of playing SE So I have to resort to consuls Watching this battle was epic Wish I could partake
Yea its said the way every game just thinks they don't want communities they want guns... And then console version HAS NO TUTORIAL and you have to watch a dickhead promote shit to u for one hour.. Who could be bothered?
One of the scenarios is a tutorial
Isn't that the taxi from the movie The Fifth Element?
The yellow taxi is from 5th Element
THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID BUT NOBODY BELIEVED ME! THANK YOU HAHA I WON AN ARGUMENT WITH MY GIRLFRIEND!
@@creesed9041 Big badda boom!
Damn
Personally in actual space battles I can see it more advantages of being a carrier with limited defensive capabilities and have heavily armored fast moving fighters with guided missles for bombing runs on certain moons or to fire at other carriers.
Yeah but if you crash before your fighters take off what's the point in having fighters? And everyone will just target you
@@tacotuesday2489 I mean in the real world if you had thick enough plates you would be able to hold out long enough for your fighters to get out. And you would stay in space only as the energy needed to land the beast is more then it would be worth to land on a planetary body.
@@kaleckton dude imagine boarding ships land in your holding bay and then you end with basically a battlefront fight they have to push up to the cockpit and yours have to try defend maybe even using a fighters guns to hold em off
What is the ip of the server
What planet is this?
Am I able to download this scenario/map?
Sorry this is not up on the workshop its more of just a mess about and testing world.
Are self destroying flak rounds a thing in this game?
Sadly no, you can build your own missiles to achieve a similar effect but they aren't practical in most circumstances.
Gotta have some mean cleanup scripts running to keep that server from melting !!
I wanna build a ship that makes and launches drones into combat... Need a mod with energy weapons though else it could get a little nuts on ammo supply.
I tried that once and I had one big one that detached from the bottom it didn't come lose and sent me straight threw the cockpit of a ship
Imagine this with the new grid AI...
This drones uses a GPS coordinats to flying, or some kind of script or server plagin?
They're just using vanilla drone AI on an NPC faction
@@garrettord3304 Ok, thanks

Hold up was that *Optimus Prime??!*
That's a Gundam Mobile Suit.
16:40 RTS edition when?
HOW DID YOU MISS THE BLOCKADE RUNNER
Just came here to ask. Is anyone else feel like couple of the ships look like they are from sins of solar empire game? One of them looks like a Javelis frigate and the other as the planetary bomber of the Advent I dunno their exact name
my only question is how to make drones run
green drone armada: bonjour
OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
bread
cries in 3 fps
As soon as I see the title rip graphics card
Rip FPS too
bruh this is like ready player one
Why so many vids in last 24 hours?
What is this planet?
Wargrave now,apparently
Can we players trying to board a space station where there could be:
transports for troops to and from the attacking ships and will have a little bit of ammunition and other tools.
Escorts to protect the transports from incoming weapons fire and bombers.
Cruisers which will be the standard combat ship with a variety of weapons and will destroy the defenses and ships defending the station and will be the main source of attacking troops and will have the needed weaponry and ammunition for them.
Battleships which are the heavy hitters and are designed to take out the harder to break defense ships and weapon batteries as well as provide easy access for the boarding teams with their weapons although you should keep the damage to a minimum.
Carriers which will be used to provide fighter jet support and will repair any damaged transports the carrier can also act as a transport if required but they will have little in weapons and amour.
Fighters: armed with weapons to face other fighters and is small and quick but lacks any real amour as it's only light amour.
Bombers: armed with heavier weapons and amour but isn't as fast.
Let me know what you guys think of my idea.
Imagine your walking down a glass hallway and you see a fighter about to crash into it.. You make a mad dash as you duck behind something you hear half your team get wiped out that would be fucking awsone
@@tacotuesday2489 yep that would be epic
thats not a mech its a gundom mobile suit.
