150 vs 200 cc hardest aren’t the same. Mario circuit 3 is actually decently hard in 200, but quite easy at 150. My personal pick would be Neo Bowser city at 200. So much brake man.
Was about to write the same thing. Also imo many tracks can get better or worse if u play them on 200cc. I feel like on 200cc the city tracks get way better and also many of the mario circuits and royal raceway are much more fun this way. On the other hand there are tracks like Shyguyfalls and the mk 8 Rainbowroad that I hate on 200. Overall I'm very happy that they implemented it into the game though and I hope they bring it back when the next mk finally realeses.
I feel that what you constitute as a hard track really depends. I feel that excite-bike is easy for noobs, but the advanced tech is actually fairly difficult and different. Also, Daisy Cruiser on 200cc is a nightmare. That one turn where you get back onto the surface is so hard.
21:00 “maple treeway also has some difficult turns especially through the water slide” “bob and weave between the buildings or you’ll find yourself bumping into things like a *pinball*” sounds about right
There is a lot of track here that i find really underatted in term of difficulty like Ice Ice outpost and Toad Circuit. They layout aren't the most complicated, but both have short cut that you need to learn to be good at this track.
Baby Park can be tough though, I mean 1st place can place a bomb and literally hit every single other person or you get up to the front and all of the sudden you're with all the people in the back of the pack getting wrecked by stars and bullets
I think that mushroom gorge is probably the furthest away from where it belongs on the list. It's a very wide track and the mushroom pads are larger than in the Wii version as well. I would have placed it in the 60-70 range, no where close to 15.
I think that Athen Dash is my favourite track. I had really low expectations for this when it first was revealed, but when i played it for the first time, i fell in love with it. But, hey, i am only playing it on 100cc. ❤
honestly i always thought it was weird that all of wave 1's tracks were super easy except for one track, which is one of the hardest tracks in the game.
I play pretty casually, but I have hundreds of hours still in the game, and I can say the tracks that pissed me off the most were Super Bell Subway and Grumble Volcano. I haven't played most of the booster courses, just the main game, and those two tracks I always hated playing on.
Enjoyed hearing your perspectives. Some tracks I think you underestimated their difficulty: Singapore Speedway, Amsterdam Drift, Rome Avanti, Coconut Mall, Waluigi Stadium Not saying these courses should be at the top of the list, but they have more difficult turns and routing than you give them credit for. It can be fairly tough to get great lines with some of the sharp turns or bumps in the road. With Amsterdam and Rome in particular it can be confusing to know where to go until you get used to the track and there are sections where you double back into oncoming traffic. Some tracks I think you overestimated their difficulty: Toad's Turnpike, Moonview Highway, Dry Dry Desert, Sweet Sweet Canyon, Moo Moo Meadows. Shroom Ridge and Berlin Byways are the tougher traffic courses with sharp, blind turns but you rated the much easier Toad's Turnpike as being more difficult. The road is so wide and the there are no blind turns. Plus you can drive on the walls and avoid traffic altogether! Moonview highway is somewhat more challenging but the traffic moves pretty slow. Moo Moo Meadows is a starter course and probably in the 5 or 8 easiest tracks in the game. Sweet Sweet Canyon and Dry Dry Desert have a little bit more challenge but are pretty forgiving
Tbh I would put Royal raceway higher. It’s not a difficult track but at 200cc it requires knowing how to break drift and knowing that pressing a makes the glider go down quicker whereas Mario kart stadium and the 2 Mario circuits do not
wild woods is actually very hard on 200cc, also its my favorite mario kart track so I HAD to give it a shoutout ;) also this is just my opinion but dk summit is one of the easier tracks in the game, there is an abundance of guardrails and when there isn’t you can ride the wall on a halfpipe, the two hardest turns are also skippable with a shortcut, I love the track but its on the easier end imo
It has way more railings on the side compared to the original, and i feel like antigravity makes the track easier, as in the original some parts of the road were steep and getting hit, bumping into heavier racers or hiting a wall would cause you to fall off
@@PinkGoldPeach23105 I think what makes it so easy is a combination of anti gravity, more rails, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s tighter controls. They also severely nerfed the turn after the two giant holes
personally, I would put Neo bowser city at number 1. In 200cc you basically have to hold break on every single turn. The one with no guard rails is absolutely brutal and I have lost many, many races from that one turn alone.
Neo Bowser City is by far the most challenging track to sightread, especially on 200CC. Video was well thought out, but you didn't control for different variables (like what CC and whether or not you're sightreading the track or not), which makes the rankings far less meaningful and more just a personal preference sort of deal.
At 200CC Offline, the hardest tracks without a doubt would be (in no particular order): 1) Neo-Bowser City 2) Maple Treeway 3) Superbell Subway 4) Bone-dry Dunes 5) Athens Dash 6) Ninja Hideaway 7) Grumble Volcano 8) Ribbon Road 9) Piranha Plant Slide 10) Rainbow Road SNES But the hardest without a doubt is Rainbow Road Wii U, the opening turns on 200CC destroy you, and the leaps of faith are total shitshows near the end.
Nintendo nerfed so many retro tracks into the ground it's kind of infuriating, as if the better controls and accessibility options of MK8DX somehow weren't enough
The tracks that i think are the hardest in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has to be all five of the rainbow road tracks because my god it gets so frustrating to hit all of those turns like my god
I don't understand why people say that Moonview Highway is a difficult track in MK8 They're way less cars in this version than in Wii's one. It maybe the harder Trafic track in 8 Deluxe, but not the harder track in the game, for me, it's pretty average
I think ninja hideaway is the hardest map in the game by a pretty good margin SO many different paths with SO many sharp turns that lead into walls and basically 0 railing on the rooftop part
I don’t agree with Athens dash being the number 1 hardest track it’s a pretty easy course in 150cc and 200cc in my opinion just some ramps no brakes or anything just some average looking city track that is one of my favorites just easy for me maybe it’s from me playing to much Mario kart 8 that I say athens dash is not hard but I say the number 1 hardest track in Mario kart 8 deluxe is the rainbow road in the game the 8 deluxe one to be not confused because how many brakes I need to do and it doesn’t work and I fall of the track every single time ahh this is the hardest track not on 150cc oh and neon bowser city sure 2nd place tight turns and the S Degree turn just uhh so awful so that’s my opinion on the first place hardest track and your opinion as a whole
Moonview Highway is way too high up, it's an absolute joke compared to the Wii version and every other traffic course uses its obstacles much more effectively
Bro, I love your content and this is extremely petty of me to say but, the word is "especially." I'm sorry I'm a huge grammar stickler and hearing you say "eckspecially" a hundred times in this video was driving me insane.
@@Coolyuonh_GDsorry but wii u rainbow road is pretty easy, just drift and its ok, fot Athen dash you just have to learn the track and then its ok, and for ninja hideway there is just 4 90 degrees turns, that’s all.

100% I've made a ranking for myself where one catagory is drastically improved by 200cc.
Imo, rainbow road is a lot harder at 200cc. I have to break at almost literally every turn.
I really wanted DK Mountain to return in this game just to see how insane it would be on 200CC and man did it not disappoint in the slightest lol
I would still love to have the music ranking for this game even if it did lose the poll.
I feel that what you constitute as a hard track really depends. I feel that excite-bike is easy for noobs, but the advanced tech is actually fairly difficult and different. Also, Daisy Cruiser on 200cc is a nightmare. That one turn where you get back onto the surface is so hard.
Wow. I knew Neo Bowser City would be high on the list, but Athens Dash... that one pleasantly surprised me.
Especially with the Colosseum lol
He did ribbon road dirty
Oh, no, the trauma from Mushroom Gorge. (Blue Shell, Lightning, Blooper, Mega Mushroom,)
This video was the last straw: I subscribed. Your videos are so fun to watch, I didn’t want to miss a single one! Keep up the great work!
21:00 “maple treeway also has some difficult turns especially through the water slide”
“bob and weave between the buildings or you’ll find yourself bumping into things like a *pinball*”
sounds about right
the water slides on 'maple treeway' are the worst!
I swear this video was made by an AI, like Rome Avanti hardly has any straightways, yet he says there's lots of them?

It's my personal favorite as well
For me i find mushroom gorge moderately challenging to pretty challenging in mario kart 8 deluxe
For me the easiest three is SNES Mario Circuit 3, GCN Baby Park, and Excitebike Arena
Excitebike Arena is a "LONGER VERSION" of GCN Baby Park.
Same, excitebike is very easy
i would argue that toad circuit is easier than mario circuit 3 bc turn 4 in mc3 is hard enough that it makes a figure 8 track easier
The hardest tracks for me in Mario kart 8 deluxe are
1 all the rainbow roads
2 Ninja hideaway
3 Neo Bowser City
4 ribbon road
Ngl only hard rainbow road is the snes?? One and the new one
honestly i always thought it was weird that all of wave 1's tracks were super easy except for one track, which is one of the hardest tracks in the game.
Rank them from shortest to longest next!
Calling Mushroom Gorge harder than Super Bell Subway is like the 8th deadly sin

I think the hardest map on 200cc is either mk8 rainbow road or neo bowser city
Hardest map on 150cc and overall is ninja hideaway for me
personal hardest must be Dragon Driftway, 200cc expecially its brutal for newcomers
It and neo bowser city are brutal on 200cc. If you're new

You said “Maple Treeway” Twice, once for the maple treeway segment, and again for the koopa cape segment.
Wii Rainbow Road was nerfed so hard in this game in terms of difficulty
Well at least it still has an actual functional layout unlike some other Wii track remakes

“Maple Treeway is really hard as well with the water slide” 😂 You mean Koopa Cape?
'Ninja\Hideaway'-so/many/different/ways/with/every\one/extremely/difficult/for/me.

Nintendo nerfed so many retro tracks into the ground it's kind of infuriating, as if the better controls and accessibility options of MK8DX somehow weren't enough
Sounds like a massive skill issue if you consider Athens Dash the hardest
I think that the most difficult tracks in 200cc are by far U Rainbow Road and Ninja Hideaway. But yeah, Athens is the most difficult city track

If DS Airship Fortress was in the game, I wonder where it would BE on the list. I would guess somewhere between 10 and 20.
