Just no way to even think how to express myself about the greatness of Steve Turre. I imagine Duke having Steve playing in his Band composing with Strayhorn and making a gig with Paul Gonsalves. Skål 🥃Steve

About the time that Steve's self-titled record came out, he and Sanctified Shells were to make an appearance here on the west coast in LA. The show was cancelled for whatever reason. I was so disappointed. Thank you staffordhunter and youtube for letting me finally witness this group!
