Love my ultra bee. Charged cycle works are good people. Bike is far more capable than I am. Planning on adding rear suspension and a bigger battery eventually.
Battery first? That would only add range right? Props lol I run out of range before the bike does. That being said im not a super serious rider so I can see needing more for a full day outing with the boys.

You nailed it with ‘where do you draw the line?’ Light Bee is a ride anywhere (other than main tracks) bike. I’m 6’3 so want an Ultra Bee but it lacks stealth that my Light Bee has. That modified UB was still a little overwhelmed by that track. Cahuilla vet track would be better for it? Even then it may struggle. More of a legal single track bike I think, but then you 90% of the use case most people want these for.
Definitely more of a single trail riding type bike! It’s definitely not meant for this type of riding unless you fully build it up like this. This build is roughly $18,000. It’s more of a what if bike build, they just wanted to see how far they could take it. Realistically you would probably just want suspension, wheels and small things like pegs and bars. Nothing too major and it’s an absolute blast. A stark is honestly the only true electric bike that seems worth it for full blown Moto in my opinion, but then you gotta take it much more serious and it’s less playful. Pick your poison 🤷♂️😂 Moto is expensive no matter what route you go if you want the modern bikes.
I would love to see you buy a ultra bee and see how crazy a build you would do. plan on buying one myself in the next month

I'm gonna be honest... but I've watched countless stark videos and others as well, starks being run at 40-60hp, and the ultra bee in the video really doesn't look like it's anywhere close to 50hp. 50hp on that thing would give the stark a good run at 65-70hp because of the weight. From the video it looks like it's at 30hp max. Idk maybe that's just me. Do a drag with the stark or any other dirt bike and that would seal the deal.
It was tuned down. Not sure what it was at. I also rode the stark. Video on that soon

I know you prob don’t care but just a heads up when you have your leg out on a tern make shore it’s stretched all the way out and make shore it’s kinda higher and closer to the bike it will make you look more perfeshonol and will help with ruts a little more
You need an ultra dude, for those curious about the cost and breakdown of this bike, your looking to spend around 17k for something like this. Ultrabee $6500, 80v76ah battery $3800, x-9000 controller $1200, wheels/tires $980, EXT Rea rear shock $1400, WP85 front fork $1200, EBMX ultrabee motor $1400, billet sprocket $65, non oring chain $95, bars/grips $100, SXS skid plate $135
Those are good numbers to have. I don't think the fork is something you can buy and just bolt on though it is a custom build. Electric cycle rider has a revalving service for alot less but I haven't heard much about reworking the shock so you might still want that one. Most people won't need a new motor just the stronger controller or will be willing to spend $3800 for a bigger battery so that would bring the build cost way down somewhere around $11K. total for the ULtra. I paid more than that for my Specialized Tubo Levo emtb lol.

They actually fit the larger Ultrabee perfect! They are too long for light bee and talaria lots of geometry problems introduced with a fork 3” longer than stock.
hmm, i never heard that about them being longer I have a talaria mx4 and i was kinda planning to put 85 forks on one day, I would rather save up for ext but idk because I would really loose alot of power with 85 forks and a 16 inch big tire in the rear@@BrianLampright913

I never rode the stock ultra bee rear shock. So I can’t really compare the two. This was my first time on an ultra bee. Prob ruined it for myself cause a stock one won’t compare 😂😂

For $18k and riding on a track, it makes the Stark seem like a bargain and much better suited for track riding. Without a clutch, I suspect this thing has too much power for hard enduro. Probably flowy single track is the best terrain for it?
This bike is more of a what if build, they wanted to see how far they could take it I mean 18k for a ebike is insane 😂 but someone’s gotta do it right?
People are suing these in hard enduro and killing it after a few upgrades. Throttle and power is tunable as is traction control. Also has a reverse that is a game changer.

50kw??? after that race day the batteries must have been like 1000000 degrees Celsius and needed a replacement. I cant find exactly how many 18650s an ultra bee battery has so I cant do exact calculation but even the highest end batteries on the market today cannot supply even half of what that bike is drawing, thus destroyed batteries in no time!
Why buy one of these and mod it instead of just buying a Stark?
Completely different experience. The weight makes the Varg all business and little play. The UB is all play but handles business. I'm 235 lbs and I prefer the UB and already sold my Varg.
