Very beautiful process
Your filming has become more refined. Bravo.
Hi Ksy! I discovered your channel recently and I'm loving following your routine at the imperial academy. I'm from Brazil and I admire Russian artists very much, especially their drawings. I'm a dentist but I also enjoy drawing. I would like to know if you're going to make a vlog showing the whole process of a portrait, in real time, during a class at the academy. I find the technique of Russian artists for drawing simply stunning and I would like to understand better how portraits are constructed, the shading, etc.
Thank you for your videos. Greetings from Brazil!
I allways buy old tablecloth linnen from the second hand shop, but I also stretch it and paint it. It use to cost 3$
Thank you for your attention to value. Art is indeed about the object. The object supports a demonstration of skill and insight. The continuity of value needs be, so that the object maintains the value of the artist's endeavors.
What an excellent video! Very different from how I prepare canvas but it is so nice how you prepare your canvas. Thanks for sharing Kseniya!!
Beatiful prep of canvas just like u ❤
Köszönöm a filmet.
Jó volt látni az előkészítést is.
Ура, ура новое видео🎉 Спасибо за возможность подглядеть за всем непростым процессом создания шедевров🤗
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like you’re ways.
Love your videos, thanks for sharing!
so beautiful! your videos always inspire me to continue pursuing art! 🕊 sending much peace and love
Those sharp nails sticking out of the frame, I’ve never seen that before. We used to stretch the canvas over the sides with nails, now it’s done with a staple gun. The nails sticking out look quite dangerous. Gelatin, /Shouldn't the gelatin be more melted?/ gesso - hardly anyone does that these days, but yes, they are the best-stretched canvases, like a drum! It adds quality to the painting. I see progress in your videos, and I enjoy watching the studies from your art school. I finished mine 20 years ago. :) Hello From SLOVAKIA
thats so cool!

Hello, Kseniya! May you please make a video with a masters student in art history in this academy. If they can tell us more about what they study, how they study and the entrance exam for a masters in Art history. Спосибо! ❤
Please what gelatin is used for? Because I asked about it. I did not get any results. What is the gelatin used in preparing the fabric?
❤❤❤
rabbit skin glue
;)
Thank you for the informative video. I'd just like to ask whether you're using oil based or water based primer. If you could elaborate.
Its water based)
👏
❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You did a good job,and making canvas is a fun thing, as you mentioned 🥰
I have a question: What are the components of the primer?
Thanks)) This is the most common acrylic primer, like from the store, just the instructor mixes it in the workshop herself
@@ksyelf5820 Yes, I see, thank you.❤️❤️❤️But what else is gelatin? Can you explain more about this gelatin?
Hi, do you use this same process for both oil painting and acrylic painting?
Hello, thank you very much for this video. I have been looking for different types of preparation for while. Is gelatin used instead of rabbit skin glue?
Yes)
Hello! :) Great video!
I have a question, is there an age limit at the art academy you attend?
I'm a 35-year-old Chilean and I would love to study there!
Your videos are a great inspiration❤.
Greetings!
Hello)) Thanks) no, there are people here who are 30-40 years old on my course, there are no age restrictions here)
I wanna draw the scenes I read from books but I cant find anything about that .Can you make a video about this ?
Do you make the primêr and how ?
Its simple acrylic primer like the ones from the art stores)
Is the gelatine the type used for food?
no its a technical one, she talks a little bit about it
Yep its not the one we use for food
@@ksyelf5820 thank you, I will keep researching ^.^
Please have you found out what gelatin is used?@@cloudsofsunset7323
@@minanaim_art I assume is rabbit skin glue
❤️✨️☺️🫶
Oh my! You went through all that effort and time - in a pretty formal dress without getting it dirty - only to use a staple gun when stretching the canvas?! For all that work, better conservation and to maintain a high professional look maybe use Black steel tacks.
🤔🤔🤔
I want to talk to you related to my thesis
It would be more fun to paint a linen dress...
Why this one seems different?......all i know is that, you can apply only acrylic or gesso and thats it, you can paint on it already
❤❤❤
