      Kloppo actually never mentioned Rangnick being his influence, they're contemporaries.
      Kloppo's main influence was his own manager at then second division Mainz who has the first man to play 442 and a high pressing game in Germany. The other being Sachi, Milan's manager in the late 80’s early 90’s.

    He's perfect for a Director of Football role for United after his interim period ends. A man with such a good footballing brain shouldn't be wasted, and with how abysmal United's current board are, the next manager who arrives in the summer will need the support of someone like Ralf from within the administration if they are to get anything meaningful done.
    He is possibly the most perfect individual at the moment who United could've gone to for structural change, now let's just hope they give him the time, resources and control that he needs to do it.

  • @redmed10

    The most important thing that klopp and guardiola have brought in to football is to get the ball back as soon as you lose it. You can't score without the ball.

    • @yafizsalman1127
      @yafizsalman1127 2 роки тому

      High press football isnt something invented by Klopp or Pep. They just happen to have the right philosophy during the right era.
      High press managers in the 80s/90s were equally if not better than Klopp/Pep.
      The only problem for high pressers was that the entire sport of football was geared towards defense. (Italian pivot era)
      High press football, Defensive pivot football,
      . these are all just genres of football which were effective based on the generation...

    Every word of it is absolutely right by Ralph Rangnik on the different coaching style. Once you know the style of a coach you can say who's the coach of that particular team even which team is playing because it gets imprinted to your mind. Iam so addicted to Jurgen Klopp's heavy metal high pressing & counter pressing game & style that the other football styles just don't get interested even if they play well. You know what type of game you're going to get when Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool is going to play win or lose, it'll be attacking football which is pleasing to your eyes.

    When he says having a clear idea of how to play is what all the top coaches have in common, what he highlights is that 99.99% of coaches do not have a clear idea of how they want their teams to play. This is obviously true when you look at transfers, interviews, punditry, in-game changes etc. The vast majority are grunt soldiers who are chosen to become generals by people who have never served.

    Am glad 😀 that’s he’s coming to Manchester United. Hearing his speech alone tells you, this is a manager that knows what he’s doing.
    Am so full of joy 🤩
