What makes Klopp Special is exactly what he said in the introductory press conference: "I am the normal one." That's it, period. In a sport and industry full of big egos, to have someone come out and just act like a normal person is what Liverpool needed for years. The players look at Klopp and it humbles them. Salah, Mane and Van Dijk are amongst the best in the world but none of them seem to act like the self-centred Ronaldo. That's the effect Klopp has had on the team.

Anyone who even considers themself as a people leader/manager needs to live and breath this.
The building of a team, regardless if it is on a sporting field or in an office relies on 1) a manager who will make his people happy and 2) people who make other people happy. This sounds airy fairy, but when you build a culture where everyone WANTS to be there to work, you breed success.

I’m impressed by what Jürgen Klopp achieved over the years. As a Dortmund fan it was one of our saddest days when he announced to leave the club. However, once he signed for Liverpool I knew this was the best decision there is. Now a few years later he has proven that he’s the best manager in the world and everyone in Germany hopes that he’ll be coming back (maybe as a coach of the national team) in a few years. Until then I sincerely hope he’ll win many more titles with Liverpool and makes world football a more fun, respectful and sustainable sport. Thanks you Jürgen Klopp and also this Channel for making such a high quality documentary about him! Much respect from Germany! Cheers

I think at first when he came in we were in a rough spot. Wed come close to a title but failed, stevie was gone, and the team looked fairly weak. There werent many reasons to think we were suddenly going to change that around. A season later heads began to turn and we saw a little more success. We lost in the Europa final but we had made it there, we werent falling to 10th in the league anymore. Then we went to the champions league final and now everybody was watching and we got 1 point from the epl. Everybody could see what he had done now. And obviously now we are world, europe, and english champions.
I think it's just he didnt make a world of changes all at once. He made cultural, squad, and training changes over time bringing in mane to begin the top 3 pairing next to Firmino and then later salah to top it off. Gini to support the midfield. Redefining hendos midfield role. Then finally the defence and goalkeeper fixes which have been huge. Having so much faith in trent and I mean the steal of Robbo was deal of the century.

Jurgen Klopp has totally transformed Liverpool where everyone at the club feels empowered and happy (not scared & depressed like at some English premiership clubs). I think Liverpool will superglue his feet to the floor to keep him there. They love him so much.

One of the greatest manager Liverpool have ever had he is the modern day version of 3 Liverpool’s great managers into Klopp, they are Sir Bill Shankly, Sir Bob Paisley and Sir King Kenny and what can you say about this man that has not already been said about him.
In October 15th 2015 Klopp said just give us time and in 4 years I will win a major trophy if not he will manage in Switzerland 😂😂😂😂😂😂, this was Klopp’s dry sense of humour and then he said I have to turn doubter’s into believer’s and when Klopp told hid players to hold hands and appreciate the fans, and especially the fans in the Kop end and all the media laughed at him even opponents laughed because it was only a 2-2 draw, who is having the last laugh now.
He played Heavy Metal football as he called then and he built a team that was something special winning the Champions League, Super Cup, World Club ( for the very first time ) and the Holy Grail.
Then we nearly won the quadruple, and last season was hard as they played all 63 games with 2 extra time games in winning the Carabo and FA Cup losing the Premier League by 1 or 3 points and lost to Real Madrid in the Champion’s League Final.
Then Klopp still stuck by that squad but it was an aging midfield that was getting over run and Klopp had is worse season by finishing 5th in the Premier League even though the stand out moment of that season was thrashing Utd 7-0 at Anfield and even now I still watch it.
Then to the present the 23/24 season and Klopp rebuilt an entire new midfield and look at Liverpool now Top of the Premier League just got into the Final of the Carabo Cup Final in the 4th round of the FA Cup and in the last 16 of the Europa League and every player are playing with massive smiles on their faces because I truly believe these players know that they are most definitely in a Premier League Title race.
Klopp is just a genius that is all I can say about this humble and very passionate manager we have now roll on Norwich YNWA

Think of all the funerals that dedicated the fallen fans to Liverpool by wearing the badge high and proud of all the weddings and best man speeches of the i never thought this would happen just like liverpool winning the league. Think of all the dreams and inspirations that so many of us fans have had. Remember the bed time stories passed on through generations from grand parents to there children who grew up and had children themselves passing on those stories and dreams to their children to give hope that 1bday it will happen. 30 long years passed with all the maybes, its our year, so closes, total disasters, and the well next year it is ours. Well today that dream has come true.
To klopp what can I say.... thank you from the bottom of our hearts. As of today you will be the man thought of as we Bury or family and friends as we wed our loved ones. As we sing and celebrate in pubs in stadiums and at home. As we read our stories to our kids and they read them to theirs. You have written your name in to folk law. You will always be remembered. @Porrada Everyday you never been to a funeral where the person who died loved lived and dreamt of football. And their final wish was for everyone to wear their favorite teams shirt..... happens alot. I'm not saying they are going to worship klopp at this moment. But they will revel in the knowledge that liverpool finally did what that person dreamt of all their life. If you don't get that. If you don't feel that and you have never lived or dreamt that. Then you will never know what I am talking about and obviously underestimate the roll someones favorite team has on their lives. For some people Liverpool is the center of the universe. They spend every weekend watching them they spend every opportunity they can talking about them. If you have never felt like kind of admiration and love for something then I feel sorry for you. Personally I would prefer to have that kind of dedication and love for something and die knowing i gave my everything to the thing that made me happiest than to die never experiencing that. But each to their own. I don't get train spotting, knitting, fishing, basketball, hockey, rugby etc and a whole many other activities that people love just as much as what I mentioned above. Once you find that thing that makes you happiest go for it. You only live once do what makes you happy and forget everyone else who laughs and trys to put you down for doing so.

William Boulton greetings and congratulation to Liverpool from Dortmund.
I know exactly what you mean, what Jürgen did for you, he did for us.
When Klopp left Dortmund, he went with the respect of a whole region of people, who went to really difficult times with the downfall of Ruhrindustrie. We lost our mines, we lost our Iron Works, we lost most of our breweries and the BVB was close to loose the license for professional football.
For people who just watch football, it is impossible to understand, in which way the spirit of a club could give a whole region it‘s self-confidence back, but that is, what happens in Dortmund and I think it‘s what happens to you.
It is the way, Klopp uses young lads from around the corner, to built up the core of his team, what makes all of us underdogs dream again.
When news reported, Klopp signed at Liverpool, it was a real pleasure for us.
Liverpool, a big name with a fanatic fanbase in a region that saw far better times, we saw us in you and it was a relief, that he didn‘t sign at Real, or City or Bayern Munich.
Klopp followed the humans, not just the money.
And so he went to you, fair enough.
So, enjoy your time with heavy metal football.
Maybe we see in a final some day again, my father still talks and dreams of 66😉

Regardless the content, I do love the editing and motion graphics in this video. The way you use simple shapes, colour isolation (like in 9:45), and sound effects as a storytelling tool need more appreciation. Not to mention the crisp narration and proper choice of background music. Props to all the production and post production team!

Incredible analysis of Jurgen's success to date 👏. I feel another important reason is that he's happy for his players to take responsibility on the pitch and express themselves. Mourinho, in comparison, demands on playing a certain system and that has contributed to his downfall in recent years.

I think that's a bit unfair on Mourinho. When he left Chelsea the first time, some of his players were crying. He had the same kind of connection with them that Klopp had, and people easily forget that aspect because of his reputation. Since Inter Milan he hasn't been able to connect like that with his players for whatever reason, probably partly because of his tactics admittedly, but it does run deeper than that. I think that, given long enough with Tottenham, they'll be competing again.

@@leerobbo92 there's footage Mourinho crying really bad when approaching Materazzi who's also crying because Mou will be leaving soon to Madrid after winning the treble.

His personality is very special. I loved him back then when he was the coach of my favorite team Borussia Dortmund. Today he is still as cool as he was back then and he will always have a special place in my heart. #EchteLiebe 💛🖤💛

A Man United fan recently asked me what I believed to be the biggest difference maker that Klopp brought to Liverpool ... And I said what I always say ... it was his insistence that players HAVE to be mature, calm and ideally family men. You have no idea how much that has transformed our ability to build a near perfect squad.
