I wish the backlight had a dim function indtead of going blank. I usually end up kerchinking the ptt or changing channel/ frequency to wake it up. I find the H3 is great on 70cm but 2m passable. Tried it over the other side of the pond on 146-148 with no real improvement, didn't bring another antenna to compare. The customs folk couldn't believe how small it was .
