M4 Carbine: full disassembly & assembly

- Опубліковано 16 жов 2024
- The M4 carbine is a shorter and lighter variant of the M16A2 assault rifle. The M4 is a 5.56×45mm NATO, air-cooled, direct impingement gas-operated, magazine-fed carbine. It has a 14.5 in (370 mm) barrel and a telescoping stock.
The M4 carbine is extensively used by the United States Armed Forces and is largely replacing the M16 rifle in United States Army and United States Marine Corps combat units as the primary infantry weapon.
The M4 is also capable of mounting the M203 and M320 grenade launchers. The distinctive step in its barrel is for mounting the M203 with the standard hardware. The M4 is capable of firing in semi-automatic and three-round burst modes (like the M16A2 and M16A4), while the M4A1 is capable of firing in semi-auto and fully automatic modes (like the M16A1 and M16A3).

Imagine you lost one of those little tiny springs oh god
That's why you have spares.
A field cleaning kit? Comes with a cloth to use as a mat, and the kit is small enough to fit in your pocket friend.
i had to disassemble my m4 because it jammed in the middle of a fight with a horde of zombies. luckily i found this video.
America's got talent, what a lovely sight. I could watch this several times, and never ever get tired of it. ❤ my favorite video! God Bless America.
4:30 I'm almost certain that every AR on Earth has the safety markings pressed onto the lower receiver itself, not attached via a plate held by the selector. Also, there are a few nitpicks I have, like how you removed the top rail cover, but I like the video regardless of that.
Why is the full semi automatic mode missing? Only has burst, semi and auto? Is it some Geneva Convention rule that makes it illegal for the military to have this deadly mode on their rifles?
I lost brain cells….but they came back when I realized the joke 😅

Excuse me, but did you pull the charging handle to eject the cartridge in the chamber BEFORE you removed the magazine? If so, I hope the magazine was empty or you just loaded a live round!
You know about the thing where I ejects the cartridge from right
You pull that back five time to make sure the chamber is emty
Thx this will help with my cardboard ar!
Will this help me when I get issued one when I do like ROTC how to assemble it after done cleaning it and dissemble as well so I was wondering if this would help me out
Please write the names of each part on the screen

You are going to lose that buffer retention pin
thanks just bought one(M4) and didn't feel like doing any kids puzzles.... this should be fun
Direct Impingement gas operated? I thought it was just gas-piston operated. didn't think it could be both...
Gas direct, select fire
What is the purpose of that bunch of bushing like materials in 1:29 to 1:30
The bushings are to act as weights and balance out so when guide rocks back and forth it doesnt tilt which the face of the guide on the buffer spring is already a flush fit its precaution
Oh Very nice information (I have CNC machine could you please give me this 3d STL File )
THERE. At 2:08. What is that part that retains the buffer and spring called??
Buffer tube
I think it's the buffer spring detent? If not, it's something along those lines
It says so at the bottom. It's called the buffer retainer.
Great videos!!

Vast majority of soldiers (except those in the ordnance stations) are only taught 'Field Strip'. Search for the M16A1 video in this channel (gun with a basically the same structure). There, the sequence of the first 42 seconds (minus the hand guards) is the Field Strip.
Not at all
Hello, can you make a Video from the "Winchester 190/290"? Thanks, I like your Videos

That’s like saying the color blue is better than the color green. It’s situational and while I like the M4 more I’d be dumb to say it’s better. Have you seen the AK stress test? It’s remarkable
Impressing video.....thx ;-)
