No. But if you put them on the Spring Training IL and they aren't healthy for the regular season start, they will start the season on your MLB IL, start gaining service time, and need to be placed on the 40-man. When prospects get hurt during spring training, I just demote them.

I traded 22 year old pitcher Jackson Rutledge for David Fletcher to play my ShortStop. They even retained 50% of his already decent contract, and the prospect I gave up is a 3 pitch starter with a changeup maxed at 40 and max potential at 45. And I traded another prospect Cade Cavalli for Ty France to play 2B for me. He's not who I wanted but every other guy I tried to go after, they wanted Soto in exchange. I'm going to keep Josh Bell and Escobar for now and play with what I have in the outfield. I'm not in a rush to trade off Corbin and Strasburg but I'm gonna try to dump them before the deadline year 1.
