Cat shelters always make me so god damn sad as an owner of a senior cat who will soon be 18 years old, I can’t imagine giving up or selling or leaving such a creature who loves so strong when you earn that love and trust.

Okami-San it is indeed the second one! 😄 I love him very much and consider him my best friend, you can’t imagine the communication skill and bound you can have with a cat that you’ve spent 18 years of your life with! He is on specific senior cat food and I do have supplements for hips and joints. Another good news, my brother has his mom who is 19 years old 😂

All these dogs are the best and adorable, but I just wish people knew about pit bulls. It’s just so stupid how pit bulls are apparently “ aggressive “. We need to fight for pit bulls, who’s in?

Okay, yeah. APBT are fine, great dogs and I don't think they should be put to shame or have restrictions against them but hear me out. Real, well bred APBT are going to have aggressive traits. It's in their genes. I'm not talking about breeds falsely labeled as pitbulls most commonly those are American Staffordshire, Staffordshire bull terrier, bully breeds, etc. I'm not talking about dogs such as that horribly bred giant dog Hulk who is falsely labeled as a pitbull and is really just a fat mutt or mixed dogs that may have a slight resemblance to a APBT but are really just a mutt. I'm talking about well bred, fully bred American Pitbull Terriers. They were BRED for dog fighting and as bait dogs. Just as an old English sheep dog is bred to herd sheep, so if you've ever had one of those as a pet they will try and herd you. So what do you think is going to happen when all those years ago they put pitbulls in a fighting ring and fought them? The dogs became aggressive. Now what do you think happens when two of those aggressive dogs are bred? The gene is more than likely going to be passed down. Throughout the years that hasn't changed. A well bred, fully bred APBT more than likely will have aggressive traits. That's just facts. There's an amazing video on instagram of this that I wish I still had the link to, it explains the same thing but way better than I can. It gives the example of Belgian malinois. Dam and sire were both IPO or did bite work and at six weeks these puppies already showed incredible traits of succeeding in that field. Again, I have nothing AGAINST APBsT and I know for a fact if they are put in the right household they can be incredible dogs. But if they are put in a house as a pampered pet with no job to do, the dog might end up on the streets. THAT'S why there are so many in shelters. People get a breed before they know anything about them.

Lyss Welk start with basic obedience, then tasks, and when your pup is ready, public access. UA-cam is an excellent resource, and it’s free!!! You can get used gear or even new gear really cheap on eBay and Amazon!! Good luck!!!
Jojo's Universe he has basic obedience (minus biting because he is horribly teething at 6 months old) and we’re working on a task at this moment. We got a good vest off amazon for a good price. The only major problem I have is he has 0 focusing, which is to be expected with a puppy. I am just looking for tips, because he is my first service dog and I’ve only trained a regular house dog. Thank you though!
