its not about waking up at 6.00 AM to eat the biryani, its about getting drunk all night or going for a night out and getting something to eat. Biryani being that something to eat is what makes it all worth it as there are few eataries that are open from 3.00 - 5.00 AM in the morning

Hoskote biryani is overhyped, earlier morning Biriyani is Bengaluru’s tradition, and that tradition is amazing at many nati style restaurants in Bengaluru city. Yes the veg breakfast and coffee is like core of Bengaluru and you can find places like SLV pretty much in every area.
You will get SLV type of eateries which we call as "Darshini" in every nook and corner of the city which serves throughout the day
Prices are reasonable
And quality of food too is good in most of them
Should try 3:30 AM Tatte idli near devegowda petrol pump, they also serve different varieties of pulav and crispy dosa's
Shanky might not be persuaded
It's just too much fun to watch you guys talk and rant and have dinner 😛
Finally a genuine review on Anand biryani, Anand biryani is just a hype..
I know it is really hyped but their Mutton Pulao/Biryani is pretty good. I went there a few months ago on weekday morning without the rush (would never go on weekend) and the Mutton pulao quantity was amazing. The mutton was tender and tasted good. The rice ofc is plainly spiced and overall the dish tastes very much homemade. I dont know what people expect from a simple mutton pulao made in traditional style but it is satisfactory. You are free to criticize it if there is anything wrong with it but this is my personal opinion.

I think FoodLovers TV created all the social media buzz, and you guys also heard the buzz and went there to see it for yourself. To give credit to Kripal Amanna, he was true to what he saw and you were true to what you saw. I think if people are on a short visit to the city, Military hotels and local eateries in Bengaluru provides the best collection of authentic regional food.
@@bikramdas01 this was shot 16 months ago, and we didn't know who Kripal Ammana was until we got to Bangalore. We were told to try and do a collab with him, but he was busy. Not sure it would have worked with our different styles and approaches.
@@bikramdas01 Nah I mean Anand Biryani is one of the most hyped restaurant in this region everyone knows of it. It was in the news when there was a kilometer long queue outside it after Lockdown ended so that place is damn popular.
Oh finally! Even I had been here at 5 AM and stood for about an hour on a weekend thinking this is heavenly. It really ain't worth it!!!!

Hoskote biryani does not stand a chance against Shivaji biryani. As you yourselves have seen that most of the people visiting hoskote for biryani are first timers who just drop in due to the hype( thanks to UA-cam vloggers)and I too was one of them. There are numerous place in Bangalore which serve far better tasting biryani.

The beautiful thing about Bangalore eateries is that you go to any tiny "darshini", you get food that tastes as spectacular as the one you guys experienced at SLV.
Darshini is just a word we use for these outlets similar to SLV.
It's actually these local, tiny eateries that knock your taste buds out of the world than any beer game that it tries to pull.

All These Biryani are basically shit hyped i never liked any biryani except Nandhana palace Biryani thali.. you get all types of Biryani available out there... Just grab few Budweiser with starters finish biryani..no bullshit long ride, long line to eat some Rice and chicken bath called as biryani.

Over hyped place and food.Tried once.Never ever again.
If you are a dosa lover, then CTR, Bangalore Cafe(Jayanagar), MTR and Upahara Darshini aka UD(Jayanagar) serve the best masala dosas in the country in that order. Don't miss if you are in Bangalore. If you hear about Mulbagal dosa the you could try it. Personally i am not a fan. As for idli, you must definitely try the Sebakki Idli there in the mulbagal dosa place. Sebakki Idli is a lesser known gem. Also, bene means butter and tuppa means ghee. Great show btw! Enjoy your stay in Namma Uru, Bengaluru! 🙏🙏🤗🤗🍻🍻
