  • Purists are going to get an eye twitch from this one, but let's face it, 1970's Mopar charging tech wasn't fantastic and I want simpler wiring. The solution? A Toyota alternator. Don't like it? Then don't swap yours.

    You'll get no complaints from me. I'm glad that went smoother than was expected.
    And that, my friends, is why we gear heads have buckets full of old bolts, brackets and harnesses.
    For times like this one, where it all comes together . . more or less.

    Having a lathe to custom made spacers, etc, is just tits. Nice job 😎

    I think my '90 D150 has a N/D style distributor but with an external regulator. I wonder if the brackets from my roller LA will work with the internally regulated alternator.
