Thanks to my Patrons:
Lucky Stars: The Immortal Think Tank, Vincenzo, Del
Stargazers: Ionian, Ukaryotik
Spectrogram: minimeters.app/
Vital: vital.audio/
FYI, if the spectral filters aren't showing up for you, it's because you're not using the early access version of Vital, which is free and at version 1.5.5 as of writing this comment.
On the Vital website: vital.audio/ , go to your account page and click on 'My Products' and it should be there to download.
I always skip forward in tutorials like this to find the essential info faster, but god, the undisguised joy of creating something cool in your voice is contagious. So I watched the whole video XD
Surprised I haven't seen your content before.
Great tutorial, loved it. Subscribed for more.
Thankyou!! Really appreciate this comment! One of the main goals of this channel is to show how much fun and rewarding the actual process of sound design is, rather than just focusing on the result. This made my day, cheers!
12:38 I just right-click on the mod remap curve and pick Flip horizontal (or vertical, because for this ramp they do the same). Nifty!
Great tip! Thanks!
Awesome tut bro, very pleasant to listen to you !
You have a wonderful and super easily digestible teaching style man! I'm super stoked to see what you come up with!
Thanks a lot! Really appreciate the kind words :)
Of course man! Your phase video was really eye opening! I'd love to get your take or a deep dive on phaser, flanger, and chorus effects! Kinda like your compression videos!
epic!!!
holy shit what
🤣
Oh good reminder, I completely forgot I could chain a spectroscope after and look at the sound way better than Vital itself allows!! 🔬
I love this tutorial
Too cool sounds
Nice, sounds dope!
Saw your reddit post. This is dope. Thanks
No problem! Glad it was useful!
Breath still held for part 4, homez......... :)

Good stuff ;)

omg i can resynthesize directly to wavetable?? wtf xD
Yup! It's pretty fricken great. The wavetables are saved as a proprietary file type though which means they can only be used with Vital. However, you can do the same thing with Serum or Phaseplant which both save the wavetables as normal audio files which means they can be used with pretty much any other synth that lets you load custom wavetables.
@@Naircol thanks for the tip!
Hey, when i choose spectral filter on an OSC, the pen symbol doesn't appear. U have any idea what's the problem with that? ty :)
Hey! Sorry for the late reply. Is your vital updated to the latest version?
Same here, I dont have the pen icon and I dont even have a Spectral Filter option in the dropdown lol
I'm on Vital 1.07, latest public release as of writing this.
Ahh, yeah you'll need to update to the early acess version (1.5.5). Which is still totally free as far as I know.
If you go to your account page on the vital website and click on your products, it should be there to download.
Hope this helps @@SlumpogMillionaire
