Hello Mam, is there a locking facility for the vever which rests on the desk, when flower foot is not in use? If so , that lever has become loose. I judt hope, there will not be any problem with sewing , with this foot.
Hi Trudie! Lowering your presser foot is just lifting it off the fabric and putting it back on the fabric when you stop and start sewing. Every Brother machine can do this.
Hi. Aweome Video. I am using singer basic mechanical machine but it is not able to pick zig zag stitch with flower presser foot attachment else wise zig zag stitch is working fine. Any suggestion would be helpful. Note. My machine doesn't have option to lower the feed dog.
Thanks Geeta. Do you mean your needle is touching the foot, or is it something mechanical? Does your machine only do straight stitches when the foot is on it?
@@MadamSew yes. the machine is able to do only straight stitch even when when using zig zag stitch. It doesnt pick bobbin thread in zig zag stitch. If any input it would be helpful.
The foot is designed for 7mm machines. But, as long as the 9mm machine is a low-shank machine, I think you can use it. You cannot use the full width of your stitches, though, so be careful when selecting the stitch width.
@@MadamSew Thank you so much for replying. I have a 9mm machine but also two 7mm so I can use it on them. I just have problems with having more than one machine out at the time. I have seen some great YT on using the foot. So many sewing things to practice. :)

Why does my flower foot skip Stitches on part of the circle.
This might happen if thread tension is not 100% ok or when you are working with a dull needle.
