    Just what I needed thanks man! I’ve been trying to decide which size is best for my travels. The 55 looks great

    My favorite part about this bag is that it’s semi rigid. It has enough structure to hold itself open while filling. I’ve had a lot of floppy duffels and didn’t realize how much a game changer some rigidity can be.

    Very informative review. I've been between the the 55L and 70L. After watching your review, I'm probably going with the 55L.

    Great video! I bought the 55L for trips to Iceland and Australia this summer, so I hope I can get away with it as a carryon 🤞

    Thanks for this well produced review video on some of Patagonia's most popular travel bag sizes!
    I have the discontinued 90L bag and LOVE it to death! I've traveled with it extensively through Europe and here in the US. I've traveled to England with my 90L multiple times and experience NO issues from the flight attendants.
    My 90L Patagonia bag is 3 years old and is holding up well!!!

    I was hoping you'd explain more of the function side of this style of bag, more so than the capacity. I kind of think that any 40 litre, 45 litre etc. bag would hold the same amount of luggage as what you showed. Maybe explain a bit about the inner mesh pockets, and the outer pocket etc. Also, the loops on the outer side. What purpose can they have? I agree with you, they are a good looking bag, but in terms of capacity, are they really any better than other duffel bags on the market?

    I was lucky enough to get a 60L, which as mentioned is smaller than the 55L. Had no problems backpacking through southeast asia as a carry on (even on budget airlines). Shame they've discontinued the 60L.

    Great summary, thank you! Just bought the 70L for big hauls. Saw you use both the suited nomad and tripped compression packs. Do you have any feedback on either/both?

    • @TreyDaze
      @TreyDaze  Рік тому +1

      Both packing cubes are incredible! The Suited Nomad cubes can survive any element you throw at them and they are indestructible. The Tripped Compression packs are also super durable and really fit at ton of clothes.

    Patagonia eu has the 100l in navy. I’m waiting for the black. Got 4 bags as of now, using them for everything. One 40l, two 55l and one 70l. Need another 55l, 40l and need to find the 100l. Make a video when you get the 100l mate. Thanks.

      Hey dude, do you compare the 70L to an equivalent sized wheeled suitcase? do you find it is easier to carry around. Was thinking of getting it as checked baggage for my japan trip (will probably have to take stairs at subway), but I already have a big traditional suitcase, cheers

    • @andrew3066
      @andrew3066 10 місяців тому

      @@MrSher22 I wouldn’t say it’s a suitcase replacement for me however it’s great as a second bag. What I usually do it take a suitcase and a 70L inside when I’m going on a trip so when I buy loads of clothes or whatever I always have a second bag with me to check in. The bag will get scuffed and you’ll see visible aesthetic damage etc checking in however it should hold up. It is easily carried around with the backpack straps however you must consider weight. As for the size it’s a little smaller than my wheeled suitcase I’d say.
