coverage all around the territory and islands? Im starting my trip in two days from Okinawa and I need something that works all around the country. Any advice? thanks!
can someone tell me step by step quickly on how to install Mobal E sim data? Once i've installed it, do I turn my roaming off or what do I do? Sorry it is my first time!
Travel Agent here: yes, but activate it the just before your flight. So it's working right when you land. The worst is having to wait 30min after the plane lands to for airport wifi to activate then wasting valuable time trying to activate it on Airport wifi. Usually, airport wifi isn't available on the plane. Paid airplane wifi is usually too slow for downloads. Airport before leaving is the perfect time because many travellers that don't travel often get to the airport 3-4 hours early and are through customs within 30min. eSims are very straight forward via app instructions
We will be traveling to Japan from India in Early June'24 , Starting our trip from Osaka. We are two Couples Aged around 40 with two Daughters each aged between 8 -12. Want to cover Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo mainly. We are vegetarians, well travelled around the world. Looking for a little authentic Japan Travel. Thinking of staying 3 nights in Osaka, 4 in Kyoto and the rest 7 in Tokyo. Pls suggest an Itinerary for 1st time Japan Travellers, budget 4 star accommodations options, with some variation like Ryokans, mainly at nearby main stations, good Veg food restaurants, Day trips from Tokyo, etc. Pls suggest an Itinerary. Thanks in Advance
Oh what a surprise i'm also travelling with some friends in June. The 24th June we'll go to Kyoto, stay one night then move to Nara and Osaka (we'll stay 2 nights in Osaka) and then back to Tokyo again. I personnally think you don't need that many days in Kyoto, although you surely do in Osaka since you'll find the best food there. In Tokyo you should look up these areas : Shibuya, shinjuku (kabukicho), harajuku, odaiba, toyosu (the new tsukiji market), ikebukuro, asakusa, ueno, roppongi, ginza, akihabara, Yokohama. Just google them up and check their main attractions then make a list of interesting things (i'd suggest you to check them up on youtube). A bit outside of tokyo you can also find Kawagoe, enoshima and kamakura. Also a bit farther but hakone is the best spot for ryokans/hot spring (in kyoto the hot springs aren't real ones i believe) If you have any questions feel free to ask
Great thanks, I like the Airalo for speed, but could do with a phone number but Mobalo is not as quick, did some one say I can have esims from both , and swithch?
Hi there! Yes you can have two eSIMs on your phone at the same time. You’d just have to switch between the two, depending on which one you wanted active.
Do it before leaving. You need a stable internet connection when activating it. If you wait until arival, you'll have to use airport WiFi or wait until you get to your accommodation to use WiFi.

Yes they are, it works for the whole of Japan as it uses Japanese mobile companies
Very helpful, thanx!!!
Thank you for the video! So since you can call with the Mobal esim, does it give you a phone number as well?
what option does one have that has local # ? as many local apps/services need that
There are cheaper plans from Nomad that I've used successfully in Japan.
What are they?

Me too , need a bit more detail please 🙏.
Yes, I'm still confused about how to start the esim after watched it.
Have you had any feedback about Holafly? Is it performing well?
Yes, it works pretty well! I used it last November without any issues. And it has unlimited data.
Can I share my eSIM with another person?
No mention of Saily?
Great video!
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
Speed also depends on what area you are in (and how close you are to the cell towers).…. Also, you don’t need two screens to set up an eSIM
any options for 1 day trip since im only sightseeing during my flight transfer
Very good video! 🙂👏👏
Thanks for watching!
Should you buy your eSIM before you arrive in Japan?
