I have been listening to this song since 87 and those goosebumps still the same.
MEGADETH RULES!!!!!!!!!!!
Bought this album the day it was released. Saw them on this tour as well as at Christmas on Earth Festival in Leeds in ‘88. They filmed the video for “Anarchy in the U.K.” at that gig.
You guys should do a full listening of rust in peace album. It would be mind blowing!
I approve this message. Rust in peace is one of my top 10 albums of all time.
Best thrash album out there
Yes sir . The king's of metal
Have they heard anything off the album yet?
Seriously that is their masterpiece! You may need like a 4 hour nap afterwards though! It’s insane! Holy Wars to the title track it fricken rips! Tornado of Souls May be the best metal solo of all time!
Yaaaas Finally Megadeth!
Get ready for some intense Metal shit!
I can't wait to see her reactions to Holy Wars and Tornado of Souls.
Sriram K oh, you know it’s coming 🤘
D_Music _Life Hell Yeah!! 🤘🏾🤘🏾
Holy Wars...can't wait!
Lucretia.
@@dmusiclife5727 Tornado of Soul's solo will be a great moment !
Dave mustang getting kicked out of Metallica was the best thing that happened. I'll take megadeth over Metallica any day
Both incredible bands, but I always preferred Megadeth.
They're *both* great. Few of my first exposures to heavy metal, personally
I love Metallica’s first 4-5 but Megadeth overall is just way more impressive. Tons of great musicians have come in and out which has kept their sound fresh.
Mustaine
That's a fact
This song has not aged a bit. Still relevant today as it was when it was released.
My god Chris Poland shredded the solos on this album🤘masterpiece
I have Poland right there with Marty and Kiko....Broderick was no slouch either
It is funny how that year the big 4 all had super albums. I'd say from this one, The Conjuring, Wake Up Dead, Good Mourning/Black Friday. Peace Sells... came out one day before my birthday in 86'. Have you heard "Testament"? The band that would have been #5 if they were a couple years earlier. "Practice What You Preach from "89" has a lot of good stuff on it too...
Dave, how many solos do we need in this song? Dave - "All of them".....
Nathan Tumulty 🤣
Wait til she hears holy wars!
I love watching reactions to this song. 14 year old me loved this as much as 46 year old me still does. This song will never get old.
You’re singing my song. These are the best. I swear a bunch of songs I remember where I was when I first heard it thanks to reaction videos.
Rust in peace is one of the greatest LPs of all time...Marty and Dave crushed it...
My Darkest hour is one of my absolute favorites...a tribute to Cliff Burton
Marty wasn't in the band yet. Still a few years away. This is Dave and Chris Poland
@@joelarms2171 the OP said Rust In Peace, which Marty played on
Hangar 18, Tornado of Souls, Holy Wars...So much amazing titles
Keep up the Megadeth!!
I seen them in concert when they were promoting this album..... what an absolute kickass freaking concert the dude is absolutely amazing live
Power Trip - Soul Sacrifice
Power Trip - Crucifixation
Power Trip - Divine Apprehension
Power Trip - Hornet’s Nest
I was 17 when this album was released and I ran to the record to purchase it . Brings back memories of being a teenager and packing all the friends in my mother’s Buick skylark to bands play at Brendan Byrne Arena in NJ. Just great times !
It is always entertaining watching Daves lyrics melt someones mind.
I saw this tour on headbanger's ball in the mid 80s in sacramento...with overkill and the necros...my fragile mind was blown....
I need to listen to this album. It's kinda crazy that Rust In Peace is one of my favorite albums but I have barely listened to any of the older stuff. Thanks man.
This is my favorite Megadeth album.
Man this brings back some memories!! Megadeth was so awesome back in the Marty days. Dave's rhythms with Marty's solos were always so damn tasty. I wore out 3 'Rust in Peace' cassettes back in the day.
This was Chris Poland. I think Marty was making Symphonic Speed Metal with Cacophony when this came out.
Oooh yall hitting it to the older love it think this was the first metal album i ever had got was just a old tape and wore it out man was fun was like maybe eight years old hearing this
Well, I'm back. My first may have healed from the last time I listened. Love u guys
I have a lot of fun seeing people react to music that I like.. Keep it up👍
This would be my campaign song, if I ever run for public office.
Love MEGADETH. Saludos desde Argentina
Found this song- Megadeth on Mtv in the 80's. Bought the album the next day. Been in it ever since!!!
love you guys
Casey Hallows 🤘
I used to have that poster on my bedroom door when I was in high school, loved it.
Good Mourning Black Friday!!!
I been listening guys since I was little I was born in 85 bill n Ted excellent adventure was when I herd sweating bullets
I really dig your life bro, Sharing is caring 🤘
Loving your reaction bro!!! Megadeth couldn't be touched, with this album!!!
First time I see one of your reactions. That fact that you hear the song twice, first without talking and the second one commenting it, well I never saw this way of reacting and I have to say that its really cool, you can get things in the second listen that you didnt get in the frist one, and people will no complain if you talk over the track. Nice job.
I saw Megadeth back in the 90's. Just a crushing great band.
the Drummer and the other guitar player had a jazz background. that is why this song has a groove to it
Gar Samuelson and Chris Poland!
Love this song so much growing up, I actually had 'peace sells' tattooed on my hands ... totally faded to fuck now, probably needs going over again... because I still love this track as much as I first heard it on stage in 1988
I was just saying to my buddy the other day no reaction video people play peace sells. My hats off to you bro ! When this came out I had the cassette and played it till it wouldn't play anymore. I love that it's Ericas introduction to megadeth. Great song great reaction thanks Dylan and wife Erica
Sean Madill 🤘🤘
MTV used this base line back in day as it's own logo song.
Yes I’ve seen them live - Marty and nick era - and you can’t express how much they absolutely crush this live and they actually even play it faster than it was recorded with multiple solos at the end. No better line up from ANY band I’ve ever seen live ... it’s at another level. Look up 92 tour with Marty and watch this seriously it’s insanity live.
more new than ever...
My favorite album from them, by far.......Dave is a fucking musical genius!!!
Megadeth is a state of the art thrash metal band.
Great reaction, guys!
Just the title, it's Peace Sells*.
Cheers!
Kartik Anand On sh*t!!! Thanks!!!
If you watched MTV in the 80s or 90s that bass intro was part of MTV News for years. So you've heard a piece of a Megadeth song.
She needs to hear Holy Wars and Five Magics. When the guitar solo kicks in for both of those songs it gets epic.
Such a great track.... used to run into Dave Mustaine at Coyote Hockey games...
2 of their original band members were jazz musicians. That’s why they had such cool and unique time signatures. Dave Mustaine and Dave ellefson has to show them original guys really how to do metal.
"Holy Wars... the Punishment Due"
Holy wars! Best metal song
Great song, great album and the video for this song was simple, crudely executed but cool as hell!
Heard this when I was 12 I am now 45 and stillputs a smile on my face
Symphony of Destruction Live in Buenos Aires // “Megadeth, Megadeth, aguante, Megadeth!!!”
Mustane fn rocks lady get into it!!
Oh you must also listen to Holy Wars. It's like the Bohemian Rhapsody of metal.
The album that this song comes from came out in 1986. It's 34 years old so far.
Hey, guys! Please react to their song A Tout Le Monde if you haven't heard it yet!
First time viewer on the channel. Fun video.
Would love to see a reaction to an Ihsahn song. I'm a long time metal head and rock listener and he is my favorite artist at the moment. Lend Me the Eyes of Millenia or Arcana Imperii would be a good intro to his music, I think.
1:52 scared the shit out of me. I had it almost full volume on my earphones just vibing
LOL this just happened to me
I have a couple recommendations for Megadeth that don't get reacted to much but they are absolutely amazing, 1st one is This Day We Fight from the album Endgame, it is one of their more heavy songs that I have heard and it kicks ass especially with the fast paced solos, 2nd one is Sudden Death from the album Thirteen, this one has many solos and all of them kick ass with their own unique feel, one of my personal favorites
Justdat799 Right on thanks definitely take note. Hope all is is good with you and your still killing it on the guitar 🤘
Hell yeah! This day we fight kicks ass!
This song is very Dave Mustaine like. It represents Dave Mustaine. He had a punk and Heavy Metal attitude like no one. Awesome 🤘🏻
It was known as 'State-Of-The-Art' Speed Metal! 😎
Hell yeah, my favorite album of all time
Mark Manley 🤘
🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼
If you liked this, react to Megadeth's Hook in Mouth
That came from "MY" favorite MEGADETH album!!!!

Welcome to the family
People have been living under a rock for too damn long. *IT'S TIME!!!* 😎

Oh yeahhhh, always love me some Megadeath!!!
Awesome reaction!
If I may, I suggest you guys reacting to:

Thales Campos 👍
My sentiments exactly. What do ya mean I'm not kind, just not your kind! The finger is right brother!
Paul Panza Fu*k A. My favorite line. Only those who truly understand what he means can relate 🖕🤘
The bass line at the begining was MTV news intro
MEGADETH song FORECLOSURE OF A DREAM
Megadeth - Ashes in Your Mouth.
Pretty please 🙏🏻
Mikko Leinonen Very underrated song 🤘🏻
I remember the 1st time I heard this on headbangers ball on mtv. Since local radio didn't play anything like this. I saw them on the clash of the titans tour megadeth, anthrax and slayer 1991
Mike R46 wow that’s crazy can only imagine
🤘
Thank you. You finally touched my favorite band. You keep becoming better and better. Up next :" Wake up dead" and "Symphony of Destruction"
Μorellos Chris 🤘
I'd love to see you guys react to their song Dread and the Fugitive Mind
Good video ya'll. Good to see ya
Holy Wars!!!!!
Stay heavy, and stay frosty
Megadeth is part of the Big Four of thrash metal.
I know EXACTLY what you're on about. The year this came out, I was listening to early Rap music. Art class was the place I heard about this "metal," this music, which I admit, didn't make ANY sense to me. I learned ALL the history of all the speed, thrash, hard core bands of the late 80's because of the Metalheads in arts class. constantly talking about it. This was the anthemic song that turned the "METALLICA!!!" group, into Okay, I GET Megadeth... crowd. Needless to say, I was taken, right along with with it ... my hair is STILL long
Y'all need to check out "Good Morning/ Black Friday"
The opening bass riff was used by MTV to start their news segments.
"MTV News: You Hear it First"
you GOTTA listen to Devin Townsend - Deadhead live at the Albert Hall man, that shit will blow you away!
Holy Wars and Sweating Bullets.
Well, this was mega - now onto Death!!!!
MEGADETH!!!
Great review, you have to listen to hanger 18, tornado of souls, sweating bullets, 5 magics and public enemy number 1 just to name a few. Plus, more Jinjer please.
CamycaR700 👍
Haha I love this guy
HOLY WARS official VID. awesome....please
Hell ya
Muito bom
Tornado of Souls.... you won't regret it
Conquer or die 🙏🙏🙏 The best in guitar you're going to freak out listen to that Brazilian
Cesare Cano 👍
You should listen to iron maiden's number of the beast, run to the hills, the trooper, wasterd years, can I play with madness ... The list just goes on
Show your wife the all time metal classic Holy wars!
Carlos Martinez For sure
Jinjer just dropped a new video, I guess you already know by now but..
I'm waiting anxiously for your reaction, cause it's always the best of them all
no joke :)
Thales Campos Yep! Checked it out last night will be posted up soon. Thanks for the heads up🤘
Great live band! Especially, when I saw them in early 90's on the rust in peace tour at brady theatre in tulsa,ok. That was their best lineup with marty friedman and nick menza along with both dave's. I like a lot of their stuff, but rust in peace is far and away their best work. BTW, I like your tool reactions of fear inoculum! I saw tool at whiskey au go go in 1992. Maybe only about 20-30 folks in club and MJK gave me that feral stare through the entire song called sober. I knew after seeing tool that night they would forge path in music with a sound that was different than anyone out at the time. I remember speaking to adam jones after the set and then white zombie took the stage.
raysalsa1 What! You saw Tool at the F-N whiskey in 92! Wow. I’ve read Maynard’s book where he talks about living and playing in LA during that time. That’s crazy man.
@@dmusiclife5727 Yeah I took a solo road trip from tulsa for 10days and hit phoenix, vegas, san diego, LA! A friend said when you to LA go to the whiskey and I did. I had no idea who band play that night was. If you have been there bar is in back to left where I stood i'm hearing this drum and bass sound that was so unique sounding at that time compared to grunge or glam metal , etc. I moved to center of room and all of sudden the singer looked he stared at me for 5 straight minutes of a song I would later find out was sober. Unreal stage presence MJK has! Their album undertow wasn't even released yet. If you watch the 1992 vid here on youtube of tool at JC dobbs in philly that is exactly how they looked and sounded at whiskey! Months later i'm in my hometown in Syracuse,ny at gym and all of sudden I stop and hear a song sober on radio and I said to myself that's the song that played when that singer stared me down. Unreal aye?
Would u do some Exodus or Sepultura old stuff like beneath the remains or arise albums my choice tho Exodus no love and sepultura slaves of pain
Pizzas! But who's buying?
Mikko 😂
