    This blender is amazing it literally kept my mom alive, I blended all of her food (organic, whole food, no sugar!) into her peg tube. This became a must have! Mom had ALS.

    My question is can you make milk shakes with dairy too not just dairy free. I am sure they do just want double check before commit to it. Iam gald they have up to 10 years warranty under normal used. That why I said normal used.

      You absolutely can! You can substitute any milk for dairy or non-dairy.

      @@VitamixCorporation Can blend any kind of rock sugar? Are you sure? Have you ever tried blending rock sugar? Did you take video while blending rock sugar? I really want to know the real situation of blending rock sugar using vitamix.
      This is my real experience. Once, I blended 2-3 pieces rock sugars together with soy beans using vitamix, I heard a strange sound from the container, I stopped the machine and found that the inner wall of the Vitamix container was scratched seriously, leaving deep scratches on the inner wall. The scratches are quite rough to touch and very noticeable. Since then I never use vitamix to blend rock sugar.
      It’s totally out of my expectations. I’m extremely shocked. I called the Vitamix office hotline and sent emails numerous times, but no reply at all. Really disappointed about this machine and the company.

      Our culinary team has no issues blending a few pieces of rock sugar (approx. 1/4”x1/4” ~ 1/2”x1/4” sized) on high to powder within a few seconds, without marring or scratches. Rock sugar is pretty smooth and softer than other dry blends like cloves/whole nutmeg that typically scratch containers. With a soybean blend, a strange sound could come from the increased density that wouldn’t be noticed by just blending rock sugar by itself. We hope this helps!

    do all the vitamixs do this kind of stuff like nut butters and nut milk? what type would be the best to get for using it like a food processor?

    • @functionalathleticsandwellness

      Hi there! We're happy to offer some tips for frozen desserts. What type of trouble do you seem to be experiencing/

    • @functionalathleticsandwellness
      @functionalathleticsandwellness 10 років тому

      well i just bought the 750... and when i put in frozen bananas (with a little water) it doesnt blend up, and when i go to use the tamper the tamper doesnt quite reach the stuff inside! so i then have to take of the lid scoop the 'ice cream' of the bottom and then try again (i have to do this multiple times)... my idea was that i should have went with the turboblend vs instead of the 750 because it has a taller jug therefore making the bottom skinnier. i just think my jug is to wide for the amount i am putting into the blender, maybe if i had a jug not as wide it may be better. do you guys make the taller jugs for the series 750? and i would love some tips on how to make frozen deserts better...

      fitnesslove100 We think you're right on with your observation that you just may not be putting enough ingredients into the container. If you wanted to add more ingredients (we'd suggest more bananas or another fruit of your choice) to make a larger batch, you can always freeze a portion of it for later. However, we do offer taller, skinnier containers that are perfect for smaller portions. Go to Vitamix.com to see our 48oz and 32oz containers. They will fit on the Professional Series 750 motor base.
      From the process you've described, you're doing everything you should be to make a great frozen dessert - using frozen ingredients, a small amount of liquid and using the tamper. Thanks so much for reaching out with your questions!

      Vitamix I had this same problem. But I add more ingredients and it is fine. Only using one Banana does not work.

    If I could I would have gotten a blendtec instead of a vita mix. Mainly because I only do smoothies and the blendtec jar is better

      But oh, what glory! I just made a soup in 5 minutes, just dump stuff in and press a button, and presto! amazing soup!
      Then I made my own pizza dough with garlic, (easy) and had some strawberry sorbet. I think it depends on who wields the might vitamix, kind of like a sword., I am kind of a foodies so it's FANTASTIC. I could see how it might be overkill for people who like to keep it simple around the kitchen though. Plus you can hack one of these things and use it as a boat motor and to up the amazon.
      Lol.

    • @jackmehoff7453
      @jackmehoff7453 7 років тому

      P. I. Or you could buy a boat motor. You can also buy all that shit at a store already made. idk, I got shit to do.

    • @FoodieMajor
      @FoodieMajor 7 років тому +1

      That's true. I was thinking of a trip up the amazon, or maybe a small prop plane. Lol. Definitely overkill, but I am grooving on the "dump and eat" hot soup model. I just dump veges and a bullion cube into this mama and presto! hot soup! I am mostly a DIY kibd of guy, but I fell foe their irresistible "be someone!" Marketing. I really wanna be someone and with my trusty VITAMIX™ 750, Now, ALL thew chicks love me!
