    Thanks for the shoutout! We've been doing our thing for about 10 plus years and going strong. The bike looks incredible!

    I'm looking at the Streetfighter V4. I'm 58 and currently commuting on my old 2005 Gixxer 1K with 93K miles on it. It's heavily modified as I bought it new and instantly converted it to a racer (club racing). Never liked naked bikes. Always been sport bikes only. Now, I am slowly coming around to the looks of naked bikes thanks to this one. The price is gonna be hard to swallow, though.

    Performance - I cant tell you how many panigales, s1000rr's, rsv4s and other bigdog sportbikes I've passed on mountain roads with my drz400sm, a bike with a carburetor and 35bhp on a good day.
    Performance numbers are just a weird little particular feature that riders focus too hard on. Glad you've upgraded to what just feels good to ride around on.

    I'm looking to get back on a Ducati after nearly 10 years of not riding. I used to have a 2013 Panigale 1199S until life circumstances forced me to sell it. I was looking hard at the Panigale V4S, but everytime I see a Streetfighter video, I'm starting to lean more towards that.
    I'm approaching 40 years old and the comfortable riding I keep hearing about with the Streetfighter has got me interested. However, coming from a Panigale, it's a hard decision as the Panigale V4S is so sexy looking; not to mention I had 5k+ miles on my Panigale. Lol!
    However, it sounds like the riding you do is pretty much what I do. I think the SF is the better fit.
    Very nice video, my guy.

    I have a V4 and I think is very uncomfortable when you try to go slow, but if you try to ride faster, like a real sport bike, everything starts to fit. It’s really tricky but when you learn how you can use it daily. Also got a naked r1200r and I understand about position and the reason I’ve got the v4 is that I missed a lot the ride of a superbike

    Trying to decide between a v4s panigale or a 21 bmw s1000rr, test rode both and the BMW was cool with all the electronics, cruise control was sweet but the bike just had no character, it felt like a dead piece of metal. When I rode the v4s yeah it got really really hot but it wasn't painful, just really noticeable, so not a deal breaker. I loved the feeling I got on the panigale. What would you say about which one to choose

      The bmw needs a tune thats why Ive seen many videos talk about for emissions the BMW is super tamed stock your getting probably 70% of what that bike can do....i haven't been on it so i couldn't say one or the other but single sided swing arm all day... not sure when your trying to buy but the v4s is over the hump already they might have 1 to 2 years left before there will be a change and the new multi already has lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control and fully intergraded phone nav so it will eventually be on the v4s

      Ceramic coated... you have to because of heat... powdered coat is better against wear and scratches but doesn't hold up against heat

      hard question to answer is getting a rock and cracking it possible yes... but it would also require you to either be on a bad rocky road or the right rock at the right time for me its more so for looks and protection 2nd

    I disliked the bent over and having to one hand it so I could stretch out the lower back. After my spinal fusion it was made worse. I balked at the naked bikes but in hindsight I wished I had bought the naked one. My CBR 600 RR was fast. Like 180 on I-5 but being bent over sucks for long rides.

      trust me you won’t miss it lol. I got a streetfighter v4s a few weeks ago, switching from a gsxr 1000r. This bike is so comfortable and I can ride it for hours, on a supersport like the gsxr I was uncomfortable after 45 min. It’s still a really aggressive looking bike, I thought I would also regret not getting the Panigale instead but now that I have it I know I 100% went the right route

    • @CoolinwithJay
      @CoolinwithJay  3 роки тому +1

      same exact engine so for the most part yes except no fairings dont funnel the heat in a focus direction its more of a wide spread so it would say yes but not by alot maybe 10% cooler until ducati doesnt wrap the exit pipes under the seat there just isnt a way to avoid it until you get the pipes heat wrapped which is expense.... or ceramic coated or heat shield other parts of the bike but the real truth is sportbikes just werent made for rush hour traffic 98% of all bikes are going to be hot and uncomfortable in 95+ heat parked on the freeway

    The only reason I would buy a sports bike - P V4 or RR- is how great they look. For a riding experience, the naked bike - SF V4 and R respectively - are less attractive but better bikes to ride. The mods to your SF make it look better. What do you think of the SF V2? It is to my eyes a better looking bike than it’s V4 big sibling
