Roddy and Kollias are hard to vompare IMO. Its the same music, but both play a totally different style. if you wanna hear derek on top level, watch his sepents rise videos here on youtube. they are godlike! he is grooving but still full of intense blasting. kollias is all about speed, but in such an amazing way, that it is not possible to name a fav here. they are both incredible, each in his own way and style.
@S6BAR6ZUL6S only around 20bpm faster i think the fastest ive seen roddy play is 260(whitch is faster than ill ever able to play) and kollias about 280
@S6BAR6ZUL6S only because kollias' drums are either tuned super tight or are triggered up the ass in every recording I've heard, so he doesn't have to hit them very hard
What a beast!! top 10 drummers in the history of music, no doubt! Roddy is THE master.
The audio isn't out of sync, he just plays faster than sound can get to the camera.
funny how it looks sped up, but isn't. I mean, who else can play these speeds with so much wrist movement. What an incredible guy.
this is a professional death metal drummer!!
derek!! \m/
Gotta love the windmachine!=D
NJAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Machine!!!
