Any time you extend the inner tube all the way out you will have strain on trying to get it back in especially with a load. Check to see if it has a wear pad on the inner tube that helps it slide. Make sure to add protection to any hoses so they don’t rub. Nice setup
There is no wear pad on the bottom which may be a flaw in the design that I came up with when I put it together I’m sure it adds to the friction a little bit but it is all lubricated oh.
Airbags plus a wheel lift will bend a frame at some point. Avoid them at all costs with the wheel lift. The suspension needs to travel. With airbags you are creating a point of leverage that will break unless you really reinforce it. I ended up bending a 2006 dodge frame after the 7th tow because of air bags. They are the only time I tell people to avoid air bags is with a wheel lift. Anything else they are awesome. The best bet is to add more into the leaf pack if you feel it's squatting too much. I run air bags now because I pull gooseneck and 5th wheel trailers but if I ever go back to a wheel lift I will be forced to remove them. Good luck. Awesome to see someone build one from scratch
With my over load springs I have enough to hold the weight. I just thought that airbags would be nice so I can get my ride quality back without any load on it I can take a little weight off of the springs with the airbags and get my ride quality back. I have heard a lot of stories of bad things happening with airbags and wheel lift. I am going to beat up the frame majorly as well but I’m not gonna be hauling a lot of heavy stuff. Thanks for all the input!
I can’t give you a really good answer on that. I haven’t used it enough to know what I would change mostly because I left the shop that I built it to use at and went into heavy trucks. There’s still somethings I haven’t finished on it as well. The ideas I believe were solid but with very little trial I have found the potential issues.
I just had another guy attempt to wire up crane receiver, & wasn't able to please help out all these guys couldn't make Which work. Thanks. It Seems numerous people are asking for help , as well.
@@bennyburgess4036 The pink wire needs to be wired to the solenoid that runs the electric motor. The brown and red need to be wired to a constant hot. That’ll definitely be better than a 2500 you’ll have a lot less suspension work you’ll have to do definitely still do some extra strength on the frame though not even one timeframe is designed for that much weight pass the rear axle.

Hey man I’m putting all the tooling together to build some really nice wheel lifts. Just bought a plasma table Cnc lathe is coming this week hopefully to cut pivot pins. Planning on cutting all the tubes and welding together out of 5/8th steel plate. I run scrap all day and beat the ever living shit out of my equipment so I know what it takes to handle more then hobbyist abuse. If you have some time I’d love to discuss with you about making these things and how it can be improved.
My, Internet Is not adequate my, apologies. My , question, I have 12 to 72 volt crane remote control system that's Identical to what ya have. the wheel lift that ya built Is totally Ingenious , question, the solitary solenoid that Is mounted up top the hydraulic pump electric motor what , color wire do ya connect to the pump solenoid leading from the 11 colored wires from the crane receiver.

What will adjusting pressure on the Hydraulic pump do??
How did you do the wiring
as you combined the inlet and outlet of the pump for the valve body so that it performs all the functions of all the bottles

how many pumps would something like this need i am just learning about it myself. do you need 1 for the in and out and 1 for the up and down?
Just one. You just have to have a spool valve for each function.
Hi is there anyway where I can get in & out extended Bar 4footlong ×3"3/4
Do you make blue print for it
Where did you buy the remote control hydraulic block?
Little late on this but you can get an accumulator to smooth out the hydraulics .
I miss the part where the up and down pump was mounted on- how was it mounted
I saw the in and out, got that- the arms to open and close i got that, but the up and down i didnt see
Cómo hago para comprar uno cuanto es el costo saludos
i would like to see more clearly where the front part of the " long slididing arm " is bolted to on thr drop down angle irons
Check out all my other build video on it.

I haven’t found potential issues yet.
What type of insurance is required to tow cars even if they are your car / trucks ?
I was insured through the company I worked for. So I’m not really sure what is needed for a private towing policy.

My educated guess 4 to 500 lbs, Its pretty heavy.
