Ford has a navigation system in their new high-end trucks that take the trailer into account when getting you from one place to another. That navigation feature should be standard on the built-in navigation of any vehicle with a tow hitch, as well as in aftermarket GPS units and navigation apps on a phone. Can't turn onto a road not made for that trailer if your navigation system has the length, width, height, and gross vehicle weight of your trailer programmed in.
Use a truck GPS. They allow you to enter all that info and steers you around low bridges. Problem is they are designed for semi trucks and will not (by design, ideally) take you on no trucks roads that you otherwise may be allowed to use, and you WILL share the road with trucks. Not sure if RV GPS are better suited, they are even harder to find.
Hitch-Home tent may be OK in beautiful weather, but will leak in rain. All of the window flaps zip inside and are recessed. Water will pond in the seams and be directed into the tent.
The factor 55 is a waste of money there are much lower profile fittings that accomplish the same task the 55 sits so far out in front of your winch you will smack your hip on it everytime you walk past, ask me how i know 😂 mine maje a great paperweight in the shop
Which one of these? I don't see issues with any, as long as they're not blocking the lights or plate, or just use auxiliary ones. We use Thule racks for hauling bikes and whatnot after all, same thing. The receiver hitch is just hugely more versatile than regular ball. Gunner hitch has its use case limited to range use though, at least in Finland. Our hunting laws are very strict about vehicle usage in hunting.
THE GUNNERS HITCH IS VERY STUPID. IT NOT A ROCK SOLID REST IF YOUR MOVEMENTS SHAKE THE TRUCK WHICH IS ON SPRINGS AND SHOCKS. I DO BELIEVE SOME PEOPLE WILL BUY IT ONLY TO FIND OUT LATER WHAT I JUST SAID.
Thanks for always including the standard/imperial measurement conversions!
Just installed the towbar cargo carrier, and it's amazing. It adds so much extra storage space for road trips
Add-on accessories, my favorite list.

@@pigletshut Or take an existing GPS and retrofit those benefits. Cheaper that way, but I'm not good at programming anything.
The cone placement system thing was super super cool and smart!

Excellent
Like the vise at the end. Ever try to attach a regular bench vice on a work truck heavy duty bumper ? ... not easy.

@ 0:366 This is a VERY dangerous commercial! Trailer sway is ALMOST ALWAYS the result of too LITTLE tongue weight, not too much!
I see you got back your standard announcer. 🙂

It is so not legal in Europe, also blocking lights and license plate!
