Oh my goodness, I love your videos! Thank you so much for explaining everything so well. I recently bought my first napkins, they are cheap ones from the dollar store but they will work, and this would be perfect for my first decoupage project. These turned out so pretty and would be perfect to hold paintbrushes. I don't have the chalk paint so I'm gonna try gesso and keep my fingers crossed lol. Thank you so much, and thank you for putting out such beutiful videos, I still love the beginnings lol. Have a beautiful day! 🌷🌹🌺🌼🌸🌻
Thank you Michael Ann, and you are right, the napkins you got are just perfect when you're first starting out. Gesso works really well too so you'll do fine. Thank you for your lovely feedback! Patti
I absolutely love your video! I have empty glass candle and pasta sauce jars and now I know what to do with them. This is the best jar recycling video that I have seen to date. Thank you for sharing.
Hello Patty, I’ve been following you for a while and I love how your videos have evolved! Clear, quick and adorable! Thank you! You hooked me on decoupage!!!
Fantastic titles! Fantastic presentation! Beautiful colours. Beautifully done art of yours. Very carefully designed everything. Pretty video. I will try this one definitely. Previously I have made such jars , but now I will add your tricks of glitters and jewels in it. Thanks for adding to my knowledge. Have an artistic year ahead. Very nice and elegant and unique concept.
Good job love it. I would to know once you had heated the chalk paint in oven it won't go out the paint and the decoration. Thanks for your reply. Soonfor next video
hello pati, I am planning to do this project with my glass jars. only one doubt is there. instead of chalk paint, what can I use for coating on glass as we do not get supply of nice colours of chalk paint here
sorry for possibly stupid question (I'm new at this haha), but are these jars made this way washable (after I put that top coat)? I'd like to use them in the kitchen like containers or like cotton storage etc. so it wouldn't be practical if I can't wash them. Thank you, love the video :)
Yes on the paper napkins and I used the same papers to cover the lids but you can also use napkins. It's getting near the time for me to make another jar video. :) See if this one inspires you. ua-cam.com/video/g7nsXNsQmPk/v-deo.html. :)
I wished someone would do a video on decoupaging an image straight out of a magazine in stead of tissue paper or rice paper. I for one would love to see it done and hear any tips and advice. If you have one or know of one please tell me so I can watch it thanks.
When you do a transfer over decoupage do you seal the decoupage first? (with triple thick or alternative). Or will the deco design not be affected by the rubbing to remove the paper from the transfer? ps: sorry, had to help take care of my dad during a health crisis and am now catching up as he's much better so you'll probably be seeing a bunch of annoying comments from me again. Mua!
Hi there! I have been having quite the year myself over here, so I totally understand and I always welcome your comments but you may have noticed I can't seem to get onto youtube as often these days. It's going to be one of those years. If you're doing a transfer using something from an ink jet printer I would put a coat of the medium you are using for transfers over the image first, let it dry. (a very thin coat) If you're using a toner based or laser print, you don't need to do that. I'm happy to hear your Dad is doing ok! Patti
Hi Amber, any paper is fine-if you're using a laser printer...a lot of people asked me if they could purchase these already printed in reverse -that's why I made and sell the papers. :) Patti
Patti, I think this is one of my favorite projects. I love these. I am going to make some*** Patti, is the Martha Stewart glitter clear or white? see ya deezie

hi
your work is really beautiful.
can we wash these jars after decoupage ?
Thx again, so beautifull! The heat of the oven is that in Fahrenheit or Celsius?
u're amazing to have such ideas.
Love these Patti!!! xo Michele
Gorgeous
So Beautiful! I was wondering if the glitter stays on the jar or does some of it fall off from time to time?
Wow, so talented! Do you have a video where you decoupage terra cotta pots?
It's amazing.....
I love it.....
What else can you use instead of napkins?
I adore these containers. I am trying to find the French labels you used (graines de oiseax) for instance. Are they on your website?

sorry for possibly stupid question (I'm new at this haha), but are these jars made this way washable (after I put that top coat)?

NICE!!!!
ok, so i'm a little late coming to the video, which is great! but the link is out of date. is there another link to get your paper and supplies?
Awesome👏👏👏
hi dear, I really in love with what you are doing .but I'm little bit confused when to use mod podge and gel medium
Hello, sorry for the confusion. I used the mod podge to decoupage. The Gel medium is for the transfer. :)
Patti
Beautiful!!! Can I use paper napkins as well? and lastly how did you cover the lids also!

awesome thankssss
Where does everyone find the best napkin designs at?
After finishing the project, we can store sugar in that , and we can do hand wash or dishwasher safe
Oh my goodness!! Now I don't know what to make.. I wanted to make one with the mat look n now she shows me a sparkly one that I also love!! 😕
One thing I notice with using a nail file, is that they get "rough" edges! How to avoid it!
Are they water resistant?
When you do a transfer over decoupage do you seal the decoupage first? (with triple thick or alternative). Or will the deco design not be affected by the rubbing to remove the paper from the transfer?

There are no supplies in link
I don't understand the transfer part, is it special paper you need?
I thought any paper printed backwards would work?
Hi Amber, any paper is fine-if you're using a laser printer...a lot of people asked me if they could purchase these already printed in reverse -that's why I made and sell the papers. :)
Patti

Tutorial dng tisu decoupage botol plastik
Το γκλιτερ το έβαλα όπως το δείξατε και έφευγε γέμισα όλο το σπίτι τι έκανα λάθος?????? απαντήσει ελληνικά ευχαριστώ. !!!!!!
lindo
Great stuff but could you slow it down a little?
Loved the jars, they are beautiful but you need to slow down your video some.
I would not use the glittered jar in the kitchen or bathroom.
I "personally" deslike 'glitters', because they look kitsch!!!
Lol
I don't like the "bling"!!! Bah! She went overboard with it!
Too gaudy for me, something more simple
