No, I'm with you. I prefer to keep my skin the colour it is. I'd look absolutely bonkers walking around looking like I've just got off a Caribbean cruise in the dead of winter in England... xXx
I’m watching this after just applying the Dr DG Alpha Beta glow pads for body to my legs for the first time. I have fake tanned my legs twice in my 49 years. The 1st time, in my teens, the colour resembled the orange shade on that box. In my 20s I got better results with the Clarins one and now here I am again waiting for a disaster. I always wear trousers, always. Linen in summer, jeans in winter, evening trousers if going out. Proper milk bottle legs. Now I’ve bought a dress for a wedding and the glow sticks will be on show. Thankfully the face has a bit of a tan as I’d be too scared to do that.😳
I say the most gorges thing in this video is YOU 😍 !!! I’m in love with your personalty and the way you talk and give the info in this way. Thank you so much .. Thank you youtube recommendations you actually do some good some times.
I worry that combining spf with beauty products means people won’t use a separate spf, and the beauty product isn’t ever (really shouldn’t be) applied heavily enough to achieve the stated spf. I’m using RetinA so I really want good sun protection. Love your videos!
Would be really interesting if you could make a video of concealers and foundations without fragrance and alcohol, basically makeup who isn't bad for your skin.
Unbelievably I agree with you on the mat skin after a certain age - but done correctly. I’ve always been a dewy finish and natural skin fan but now I’ve become an age at where I look better with a more mat finish. Who would have thougt😉
I love adding the Glossier Future Dew to Charlotte's Airbrush Flawless Foundation for a DREAM like finish!! Then if needs be tap a bit of the left over Future Dew to the high points of the face-which I thought looks SO GORGEOUS on you Nadine!! GREAT video as always!! XOX From Ireland
My favourite will always be MAC Strobe Cream. It is also a beautiful moisturiser in itself, absolutely jam-packed with ceramides. My favourite colour is Peachlite xXx 😘🖤🖤🖤🖤

Hi Nadine, Would you consider making a video on bakuchiol and other retinol plant-based "alternatives"? Is the hype worth it? I guess not, but would be great to get some insider knowledge on the topic. And many thanks for sharing all the great tips over the years!
Finding Trinny London has been great for my skin which has been amazing my whole life, but now I'm perimenopausal and it's freaking out. Hydrating and just covering the bits I need covered, not my whole face. And I've just used up my first bottle of tan luxe super glow: it's a definite repurchase!
I am naturally very pale self tan usually makes me look strange. I thought the fair look was in. Even if it isn't that's how I was born . Get color from make-up. Thanks Jennifer
Ohh Nadine, I’ve been waiting for something like this great, great video. My skin is very textured so less definitely looks better but I still like to hide as many imperfections as possible. Thank you x
Wonderful explanation around the effects of matte versus (nearly ubiquitous) reflective finishes! I've begun to look first for the word 'mica' in the ingredient list as a deal-killer on a purchase. I've been painting this picture for a very long time, and I want to put the light only where I know it should go. Many thanks as always, and regards from our tabbies to yours. v
Usually mica comes from child labour , please email the companies asking from where they source the mica...some of them especially the natural and clean companies source it ethically. I stasted to look for mica after i watched a documentary. Children are dying so that ppl can have some shimmer on their faces, its very sad
@@etnica1999 Ruth, thanks for raising that issue. I have read the same reports recently, and they are horrific. I had limited the scope of my response to Nadine to the application-specific issue, but I cannot disagree with your observation at all. Thanks for expanding the discussion.
@Vicki Stammer...yes they are horrific...companies like ere perez, evolve beauty , milk make up all source their mica ethically..i emailed others but forgot the names now...here is the documentary i watched.....have a good night / day 😊😊 ua-cam.com/video/IeR-h9C2fgc/v-deo.html
Yessss Nadine! I love that you champion the Demi-matte look! I’m 52 and am matte all the way! How does the It cosmetics blur powder compare to the Bare Minerals Mineral Veil (which I swear by!)?
From the thousands of videos I’ve ever watched on video the vita liberata !? Body blur glow product is the best thing I have ever purchased I just LOVE IT 😍😍😍🙌🙌🙌
I’ve recently been blessed with finding you/ your channel. Thank you so much for all the info, I’m just starting out a new regime based on your recommendations. Ps. You look amazing, loving the hair, tan & eyeshadow!!
Sammy Dee Liquid would be really great. Also find highlighters which glow, not “bling.” Also find something which does not have too big sparkle particles as it will enhance skin texture and we rarely want that. Try The Becca Tinted Skin Perfectors, Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter or Wonder Glow. If MAC still have Cream Colour Base try those in ie. Hush, Pearl or Shell. And always always always “tap” your products on and avoid areas you do not want enhanced. Hope this helps😊
Elf cosmetics has a great eye setting powder, I’d love your feedback on it! The It Cosmetics Bye Bye pores setting powder is fantastic! Thanks for talking about how flattering a matte face looks on women of a certain age!! Love these suggestions
Makeup should not blend with skin care in one product. Skin care might blend with sun screen. OR sunscreen might blend with makeup. If skin care is a waste if applied over sunscreen, which it would be if mixed with makeup.
I love gradual tan and makeup-skincare hybrids so already do most of these. Do you know if there is something similar to the Kiehls product you mentioned that's cruelty-free please? Soap & Glory have just bought out a glowy hyaluronic acid and squalane product called Glow and Dew It, which would probably fit nicely here too.
Have been thinking about getting Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter or the new Nars tinted glow booster and I think they are like the glossier one you just showed, have you any thoughts on these
I like the Kosas line overall, but that face oil is pretty thin and dries down. Just FYI to people who may find it alluring...there isn't any moisture added via that product. Just a dry oil with some pigment. I prefer the ILIA True Skin Serum Foundation which is the bouncy hydrating version of the KOSAS. It's lovely and can also be applied imperceptible on the skin.
Wonderful roundup! Which of these tinted products would you say has the most coverage? I love my BFF eye and would like something similar for face (or just run that all over and buy 4 pots at a time!) and you’re right, if you have older or hollow eyes, powder is your friend!
Mary I think Trinny is testing a more liquid foundation...she has hinted at April. Don't quote me but I've seen her use an unnamed similar product in a few videos now
Can you recommend a face tanner for oily/spot prone skin that has a guide colour? I like fake bake the face but it's not good for my skin. Tan lux super glow is great, but I'd prefer if there was a guide colour so I can see I'm putting it on evenly .
I am very pale. I love the way I look with a slight tan. Will the DDG pads or lux drops be very obvious on pale skin? Also, will it look odd with pale arms and hands? I absolutely adore you and your channel!
I am fair and use the Tan Luxe Super Glow. I absolutely love it. It's a gradual tanner, so is very subtle, although you can build it up with repeat applications.
Shelly Strand I think if your face looks like it has a tan you need to tan other areas that are on show, if you just have a slight glow, you can get away with no tanning anywhere else
Funny enough I used the Tan Luxe Super Glow earlier this week (I was looking like the living dead before!!) It goes give a lovely soft colour but as I use Paulas Choice BHS, a vitamin C & Retinol I’m guessing it won’t last too long?!!
I just used up a bottle of it! Love the stuff. because I exfoliate every evening, I used the serum in my HA step every morning, just dropped it down to 3 drops in summer and 2 in winter, rather than the once-a-week amount recommended on the label
HI Nadine, I really enjoy you videos.( been watching them for the past couple of year) I am wondering about those nice balm creams, except for the drunk elephant one which already has spf, in the sense that, if you use for instance, the Bobby brown one, could you use your normal spf on top without disturbing the nice glowing effect ? (I am interested in the Bobby brown one, is it like the one from Chanel ? Which you mentioned some time ago that is like water with particles of color). Have a great evening, Linda
Hi please could you do a makeup for when you are using retinol. The retinol is working but my face is looking awful at the moment and work is coming tomorrow. Thanks
I have very large pores, fine wrinkles, and dark circles. Ugh. Would any of these products work for skin like mine? I usually stick to bb cream or medium foundation because I want to avoid having the foundation sink into my pores and accentuate them. I appreciate your advice and have followed much of it over the past year and my skin is really getting better.
Sorry I meant the daily refining milk ...i tried to get it at Kiel’s in kings cross station last week and they hasn’t heard of it...so,there I was nadine on my way ‘Up North’ ....and showing them your untube video!!!!!!!!
I am very fair skinned with red cheeks which have many broken capillaries. I don't do fake tan, tinted moisturisers or tinted spf because the last two do not cover up the red. What can you suggest I use? (I have Trinny's BFF but it doesn't have much effect.)
I have similar skin pale with red cheeks, broken capillaries I use it cosmetics cc buffed little all over then dab extra on cheeks, just blurs all away. I’ve just got Trinny just a touch to cover cheeks its not bad just depends on coverage you desire x
If you actually think we can see those swatches on your hand, you are wrong. But it sure would be nice! Most UA-cam creators zoom it in for the close up when they edit.
Nope. They tried to be edgy and go for an alternative typography and it backfired cause they didn't check if it meant anything. And when people that knew Swedish started giggling, they changed it to Kosas. I think. They haven't acknowledged it.
I love the Kiehls Glow Formula too but I always wonder what way round to put my spf? I think if spf as needing to go in after all my skin care and this feels so hydrating, it's more like skincare than makeup but then I'm hiding some of its lovely glow! Does anybody know? (This really does feel like such an idiotic question. 😁)
So my son is suffering from fordyce spots on his lips any ideas what we can use?Everything we tried from the dermatologist really doesn’t work. I just ordered wheat germ oil. 🤷🏻♀️ I read it may help.
Any oil will make it worse. He should be using prescribed topical tretinoin and if they aren't responsive, they can be removed (professionally) with a surgical punch or laser xXx
Hello, I use Paula’s Choice Salycic Acid toner and the other day it burnt my neck skin but not my face, do you know why this happened? I don’t dare use it any more. Do you think it was a one off or my skin telling me to stop using it? Thanks in advance. Rosa xx
That happened to me with my prescription retinol. My face tolerates it fine so thought I would put it on my neck. The next morning my neck was red and felt like it was burning.
Rosa H The skin on your neck is much thinner/sensitive & cannot tolerate Retinol & acids the same as ones face. You have to go easy with something less stringent less frequently
sweetpeace5 bc: thanks for your reply. I have stopped using the product since my burn but will reintroduce it on my face a few times a week. Any suggestions for a gentle exfoliant for the neck?
Nadine, I love your videos but when you tak of SPFs are these organic at all ? You do know that the sun is MUCH healthier for your skin than allowing carcingogenic (read synthetic molecules) onto your skin via all those sunscreens which have been proven to cause skin cancer far more often than the sun ever could. I'm a 51 yr old pale redhead and don't yet have any wrinkles (thank you mom for my good genes) but then I never put sunscreen on either. I just stay out of the sun at peak times, or I wear an organic sunscreen and/or a hat but I always try to get sun on my face every day for the vitamin D which we who live in the northern hemisphere are notoriously deficient.
Oh I think you’re following the wrong person if you believe this - it’s absolutely not true. Whilst I’m not as stringent with my spf application as many beauty creators on here, and I too stay out of the sun during peak hours - beauty products are not carcinogenic and there are laws, rules and regulations controlling the formulating, production and ingredients in all beauty products, but particularly spfs. Sun exposure is the major cause of skin cancer.
Nadine Baggott uh ohhhh.... I think you had better get up to speed on your information regarding endocrine disrupters in beauty and skincare products. I know you make your living promoting all of these products but you'd have more integrity if you promoted products that do not harm people. articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2016/08/23/sunscreen-use.aspx
@@NadineBaggott well if you want to push the corporate media bs, of course he is but if you care at all about health, you look at the actual studies and you use your own common sense and you easily see that the chemicals that we put on in sadly in our bodies are the main reason why cancer stats are through the roof. I'd be great to have someone promoting products that do not actually cause harm. Oh well.
@@NadineBaggott " Sunscreen Ingredients are a Toxic Soup Concerns regarding excessive sun exposure and its health hazards have many people slathering on these toxic lotions without any other thought or questions. The FDA admitted in 2007 that they “are not aware of data demonstrating that sunscreen use alone helps prevent skin cancer.” The International Agency for Research on Cancer recommends that finding shade and using proper clothing articles such as hats should be the first barriers for UV radiation exposure. This agency also added that “sunscreens should not be the first choice for skin cancer prevention and should not be used as the sole agent for protection against the sun.” Retinyl palmitate is used in formulas to promote skin health and is intended for use as an antioxidant. Vitamin A has been shown to stimulate hyperplasia (excessive skin growth) and in sunlight retinyl palmitate forms free radicals that damage DNA. "
If you put the James Read sleep tan on at night doesn’t it wash off in the morning? Also do you put it on every night? Very interesting, Thankyou Nadine 💕

I am very fair skinned with red cheeks which have many broken capillaries. I don't do fake tan, tinted moisturisers or tinted spf because the last two do not cover up the red. What can you suggest I use? (I have Trinny's BFF but it doesn't have much effect.)
Kat von D is covering but feels wearable and not medical
I have similar skin pale with red cheeks, broken capillaries I use it cosmetics cc buffed little all over then dab extra on cheeks, just blurs all away. I’ve just got Trinny just a touch to cover cheeks its not bad just depends on coverage you desire x
Maria Duarte I think fake tan works like a concealer, it won’t completely cover redness/veins but it does help to hind them a little/blur them
@@ItsOnlyWarPaint The problem is I would have to have an all body fake tan to match the face and that's not feasible.
If you actually think we can see those swatches on your hand, you are wrong. But it sure would be nice! Most UA-cam creators zoom it in for the close up when they edit.
Kosås such a weired name it litteraly means "cowsauce". Did they intend to mean milk.
Nope. They tried to be edgy and go for an alternative typography and it backfired cause they didn't check if it meant anything. And when people that knew Swedish started giggling, they changed it to Kosas.
I think. They haven't acknowledged it.
but what if you have vitiligo? Less is more does not work so well.
Prices please...
Nadine, you mentioned the ordinary do a dupe of the pericone md product. What’s it called please? X
paula hardy it’s their tinted spf foundation serum x
Gillian Wills thanks but he tried tretinoin and he is thinking about laser.
All the completion products are in terrible shade ranges. So disappointing

Rosa H I use Jordan Samuels retinol oil on my neck and around my eyes. It is very gentle. Don’t hhink the neck needs aggressive exfoliation?
pale redhead dry skin allergic to most moisturizers waaaa
Try the diprobase moisturiser Nadine mentioned. It's soooo gentle. Ten quid Boots. The moisturiser, not the cream

Canuckbelgo mercola is a charlatan site spreading lies and fears
@@NadineBaggott well if you want to push the corporate media bs, of course he is but if you care at all about health, you look at the actual studies and you use your own common sense and you easily see that the chemicals that we put on in sadly in our bodies are the main reason why cancer stats are through the roof. I'd be great to have someone promoting products that do not actually cause harm. Oh well.
@@NadineBaggott " Sunscreen Ingredients are a Toxic Soup
Concerns regarding excessive sun exposure and its health hazards have many people slathering on these toxic lotions without any other thought or questions. The FDA admitted in 2007 that they “are not aware of data demonstrating that sunscreen use alone helps prevent skin cancer.” The International Agency for Research on Cancer recommends that finding shade and using proper clothing articles such as hats should be the first barriers for UV radiation exposure. This agency also added that “sunscreens should not be the first choice for skin cancer prevention and should not be used as the sole agent for protection against the sun.”
Retinyl palmitate is used in formulas to promote skin health and is intended for use as an antioxidant.
3 steps to.......what??? she lost me after the 75th step! totally confused.
" Trinny has a much fuller face than I have." 💉 The shade!!!! 😎
I don't think she was being shady at all just factual
I think she was saying it as a compliment to Trinny...
Thank you I loved this video !
