This is such a good tutorial, I love how much she focused on perfecting the complexion with a small amount of product, rather than going very full coverage across the board. A lot of influencer makeup tutorials don't work well in real life because the color payoff, as well as the strength of highlights and shadows, isn't the same on camera vs in person. So it's nice to see a thorough explanation on how to make your own skin look its best. I also always use the "clean spoolie on the lashes to prevent clumping" trick, people think I'm wearing some false lashes or lash extensions all the time because of it, but it's just well-applied mascara that makes the difference.
The finished look is beautiful, stunning and seemingly effortless. This is exactly the sort of vibe I go for in my makeup. I love when makeup looks like you didn't do anything to your face, but like you're simply naturally beautiful. Just glowing, healthy and ethereal. I like when I look at someone and my first thought is of how beautiful THEY look and not how beautiful the makeup is because it took center stage over the person. She just enhanced her own beauty with this look and it's just what I want from tutorials! Such a rarity to find just the tutorial for me.
is this only me that I feel like she already got makeup on before she even started. She's very pretty, that we cant deny. Another thing is how lovely it is that in order to archive Parisian makeup look, we apply a JP foundation :D
Sorry... maybe it's good when you are 20 years of age with a perfect skin. She put almost nothing & everything is around beige... I am french and this not a real classic french makeup.
There is an obvious filter on the video that we can clearly see at 4:30 minutes ! The dark circles under her eyes disappear and reapper when the filter blurs.
I love seeing everyday makeup looks from various countries! Not only does it show you a bit about their culture and how they see beauty but you also get some very unique makeup tips. Any small detail that could just be a common makeup technique in Paris or Seoul, might open up a whole new perspective to you.
How beautiful she is! Literally gorgeous. It is so nice to see someone with very light coloring too how she does make up as a lot of the influencer looks look way to overdone on me. I can't wait to try this.
Who else out there thinks that this beauty does not need to be covered up by makeup? She is perfect the way she is! Nothing to add and nothing to subtract.....
Not much difference between before and after makeup lol. Not sure if her face was completely natural before makeup. If it was, I wouldn't bother putting on makeup .It's a waste of time and money.
Finally someone applying makeup with a light touch and no thick winged eyeliner and ridiculous eyebrows! Love how simple this was, definitely trying the eyeshadow tip
Yess! I love this too. Sadly some people in the comments don't pass the vibe check. She's clearly showing that you could use only what's needed. Imagine if she piled on heavy make up. People would hate that anyways. 💁🏻♀️ Can't do anything right these days.
Wow, it's so difficult to repeat!)) It's like an art!) Two concealers, shine on cheekbones, shine on eyelids, and always looks so natural! She doesn't use any unnatural colors, only pastel and perls) it's so beautiful I want to learn how to do this)
People lose the colours in their minds when they don't wear make up or put efforts on skincare and outfits. But that doesn't mean they have to wear extreme amount of make up like the american kids in social medias. Make up that subtly enhance look more beautiful than the heavy make ups and fully drawn eyebrows, over drawing the lips to make the lips bigger. They don't look good.
I loved it! I like to use makeup not to make me look like a totally different person, but to make me look like myself, only better. She achieved this perfectly well!
There is something to be said for skin care! Her skin is absolutely flawless, even before the makeup. I see many comments about how she used all these products to look exactly the same. No...she used several products, applied so well that she still looks like herself! I see thousands of 20 somethings making videos for youtube in America, and the girls here apply makeup as if they don't like themselves...and it shows. Because they apply 10-15 products and are often unrecognizable afterwards! That is not self love! This is a more loving form of self care.
That is what makes makeup artists the real professionals in applying makeup. Although they use many products, they know how to use them well in enhancing the skin and features. It's always refreshing to see make up artists such as herself and many other like Lisa Eldridge, Hung Vanggo, Patrick Ta etc. use their skills on many different types of beauties and essentially showcasing their already beautiful selves.
Wow...I am mesmerized by her...she is just lovely! Can you please list all the products? I didn't quite see which eyebrow gel she was using, for instance.
There is an obvious filter on the video that we can clearly see at 4:30 minutes ! The dark circles under her eyes disappear and reapper when the filter blurs.
Tried this out myself and its so great because it enhances your natural beauty without alot of pile up of products and steps to follow. Highly recommend!!!
This woman (clearly a model as well) is literally flawless in every possible sense. And I love her glowy make-up. Gorgeous. And yes, she pretty much looks the same from start to finish, just a little enhanced.
I like that she's using more serum and moisturizer than all the makeup combined with all that light dabbing. Way better than the way other influencers do the "clean look" that seems like theater makeup compared to this one.
I'm doing the same with my everyday make up since I started to use makeup. My beloved mum it was my biggest example in life even with makeup, she always told me "less is best" ❤️💄
So beautiful this makeup style, sometimes I highlight the eyes more but in general I do exactly what she does, using only one concealer instead of three. It is natural and suitable for adults, without being "tumblr", very artificial and appealing for my taste. You can't deny the quality of the used products, but I'm happy because in Brazil, where I live, the cheaper brands invest in improving makeup technology, and we have cheap options that often match imported from big and renowned brands, not devaluing the brands used here, but it is much better to have the same result by paying less. What we don't have much here in Brazil is these illuminating concealers and liquid illuminators as good as these used, the effect is beautiful!!!! And the cool thing about this makeup is that you can do it in a maximum of 15 minutes. One thing we are learning here in Brazil is to value skin care more, this makes a big difference, even if we take good care of our skin, we can give up using a large amount of products.
A bientôt! FB
I really enjoyed how she doesn't use too much foundation. In most American make-up videos they use an excessive amount and it's not practical nor good for daily use.
@@ninimimi2906 indeed, nevertheless i dont think it is the best for people who are dealing with acne to wear heavy base make up. Yet again if it makes one feel better about themselfs what can i do but to support.
I agree, I prefer taking good care of skin so it looks it's best and then using minimal foundation and concealer. The best part of using small amounts of makeup is that if you do decide you need to add more in a certain spot, the thin layers are what helps it have lasting power. It also just tends to look more natural, I think.
I loved her tutorial! I tried picking up on things I could see or kind of understand. I wish I spoke French so that I knew every detail she was speaking of. Absolutely loved this tutorial and it being so natural. This was the look I was trying to find for so long. I will need to save this and figure it out in translation:)
I understand no French, but I was mesmerised! I could listen to her all day! And I adored watching her use a very light touch and specific placement of products to enhance and highlight certain features - her eyes! Such a simple, stunning look, taking away excess mascara, a hint of shimmer on the lid to catch the light. Beautiful! Every hue used was chosen to magnify her own unique colouring. Stunning!
I've read that French women are taught skin care from early on, so that they maintain their natural beauty as they age. I'm a moisturizer & lip balm kind of woman (don't wear make-up). Also, I stay out of the sun & drink lots of water. I'm 54 and get compliments that my skin looks so nice and clean. Genetics also plays a role. I'm lucky.
Thank you, Leslie! You are so skilled at your work and I like your style. By far, one of the best makeup tutorials ever. American makeup trends are the opposite of this perfect look. I am taking notes! And dear, don’t mind the negative comments. We can all agree that you are perfection! ❤
Her technique is excellent and timeless, I really wonder what this video would look like without the heavy beauty filter blurring her skin so completely - she's evidently beautiful with or without it
Very helpful, Leslie used a lot of products in a very subtle and gentle matter revealing beneficial tips and advice. J'ai bien aimé. Merci Vogue Paris.
Those commenting that her skin is flawless: She’s in gorgeous lighting and filming with some sort of filter that doesn’t show every minuscule bit of skin texture like HD. Her eyebrows are definitely not naturally that shape, color, or thickness. She clearly has had them micro bladed or tattooed or something! She’s just filling in the tiny bits that have faded. She has lovely features - and I am sure has great skin in real life to - but she has pores just like the rest of humanity, and who knows what the brows she was born with look like. She may have naturally full lips, or she could have tastefully done filler - hard to say…also, her hair is styled beautifully and she probably pays a lot to have it look like that! Most people do not have the money to pay for the products and beauty treatments it takes to maintain this appearance, nor is it their job to. Enjoy the video and take away whatever works for you, but comparing oneself to perfect lighting, filters, a team of beauty specialists to keep one self looking tip top - never mind that she is very young and will age like the rest of humanity - is pointless! Enjoy and work with whatever you were born with - and the budget you have.
On devrait plutôt parler d'ingrédients 'toxiques'.
the only thing i would say is, she has PERFECT eyebrows that do not need much work, otherwise I appreciate her doing the little things to enhance her looks. merci!
So refreshing to see normal makeup! Normal eyebrows, not two dead mice stuck to the forehead! No stupid contouring! No stupid fake eyelashes!!! Beautiful!
I didn’t bother turning on the subtitles because it was so nice to listen to her speak even though I understood nothing lol. French is such a beautiful sounding language
I agree with you, but we're also socialized to think French sounds beautiful. I think Korean also sounds beautiful and perfect, but its aesthetic doesn't maybe fit with western ideals or something.
Can hardly see the makeup 🧐. She’s so flawless I thought she’d already put the makeup on at the start, I thought she was gonna go over what she had done 😂
I believe that she did a fabulous job of enhancing and underlining her natural beauty ❤ Absolutely that is what make up should do! I am impressed also with her dedication, I am far too lazy to go through all these steps to look my best 😅
Love how this is so much lighter and minimal and targeted to areas of the face than most of the American tutorials I watch in which most of the time they literally paint thick layers on their faces.
Cause in America people go on automatic thinking more is more and bigger is better. Notice how this lady consciously thought through everything and all amounts she put on her face?
I made a list of the products and found some of them by going to the company sights and choosing from there. I just adore the delicacy of the makeup tutorial - and she looks wonderful.
Gorgeous woman and I enjoyed the tutorial. I felt as though she already had makeup on though; her eyes had lined a bit and her eyebrows also seemed done a bit before... am I crazy?
I lived in Paris. Believe me not all Parisians look like her nor use that expensive makeup. Stereotypes are silly. The Kardashians don’t represent American women either.
So true, I lived in Paris for 6 years and friends & family who visited me there were all disappointed by how normal/homely the majority of Parisian women looked.
People commenting on how she looks exactly the same fail to understand the real use of makeup. If you use makeup to look like someone else then that's a you problem. Makeup is suppose to enhance your features and that's what she is advocating here! Yes she's using high end products but she didn't force you to buy the products! She is giving an example of what products you could use! Even I can't afford everything she owns here but i already have an idea of what dupes to buy! 🙄 Stop being salty and see the bigger picture!
Well, there are two ways to interpret people saying she looks the same. 1) She's so beautiful that makeup doesn't make much difference. 2) She's using a lot of products for such a subtle difference. Personally, I like subtle makeup, but she is so beautiful that it makes little difference.
I mean... You can use makeup however you want, personally my use of it is indeed subtle but I don't see a problem either with people uaing it to do great looks and concepts and even art.
It really doesn’t seem as though she’s enhancing anything. She looks the same both before and after, so I don’t really see the point unless she just enjoys the acting of applying makeup.
It's so cute when she covers up the invisible imperfections lol
They’re selling her beauty not the makeup.
😅
I mean this is on camera and this must have been through layers of editing and even filters so... yeah :b
Yeah, I like to do that too
Exactly what I thought 😂😂 Such à perfect skin
Would love to see a tutorial like this on someone who doesn't ALREADY look like a model before having any makeup on.
I love your job.

I love seeing everyday makeup looks from various countries! Not only does it show you a bit about their culture and how they see beauty but you also get some very unique makeup tips. Any small detail that could just be a common makeup technique in Paris or Seoul, might open up a whole new perspective to you.

How beautiful. A stunning, natural makeup look without the heavy brows and contoured foundation we are seeing everywhere.
Really informative

How beautiful she is! Literally gorgeous. It is so nice to see someone with very light coloring too how she does make up as a lot of the influencer looks look way to overdone on me. I can't wait to try this.
Who else out there thinks that this beauty does not need to be covered up by makeup? She is perfect the way she is! Nothing to add and nothing to subtract.....
Not much difference between before and after makeup lol. Not sure if her face was completely natural before makeup. If it was, I wouldn't bother putting on makeup .It's a waste of time and money.
She already had make up before starting tutorial n it was pretty obvious
Finally someone applying makeup with a light touch and no thick winged eyeliner and ridiculous eyebrows! Love how simple this was, definitely trying the eyeshadow tip
I find the brows too heavy - and the rest great.
Yess! I love this too. Sadly some people in the comments don't pass the vibe check. She's clearly showing that you could use only what's needed. Imagine if she piled on heavy make up. People would hate that anyways. 💁🏻♀️ Can't do anything right these days.
That's because her eyebrows are already perfect (and fairly thick, in a good way).
And no contour😂😱🥺
Learning a lot from this video
One of the best natural makeup looks I’ve seen. I love her light touch. C’est parfait!
Please continue this series...
Wow, it's so difficult to repeat!)) It's like an art!) Two concealers, shine on cheekbones, shine on eyelids, and always looks so natural! She doesn't use any unnatural colors, only pastel and perls) it's so beautiful I want to learn how to do this)
If i had her face and hair I would absolutely never put on makeup.
I don't understand the unnatural overdrawn eyebrow trend. It looks cartoonish.
@@silencedogood9747 agree ! It spoils everything
@@silencedogood9747 I couldn´t agree more! They all seem to be carrying dead caterpillars on their faces. Simply awful!!!
Very inspiring...
I loved it! I like to use makeup not to make me look like a totally different person, but to make me look like myself, only better. She achieved this perfectly well!
I love your face.
Yes, yes, absolutely please keep.
Love your job for real...
Wow, amazing work.

This woman (clearly a model as well) is literally flawless in every possible sense. And I love her glowy make-up. Gorgeous. And yes, she pretty much looks the same from start to finish, just a little enhanced.
She is so beautiful and the makeup is so natural. I love it! 💕
I like that she's using more serum and moisturizer than all the makeup combined with all that light dabbing. Way better than the way other influencers do the "clean look" that seems like theater makeup compared to this one.
I love her light hand and delicate technique it was beautifully executed and a nice natural look💝
Love your teeth...
I love this esp because she knows EXACTLY what she's talking about

@@changeeyecolor3891 for sure
i just kept admiring her accent its so pretty!

Bye bye!
This made me smile. Love it.

I really enjoyed how she doesn't use too much foundation. In most American make-up videos they use an excessive amount and it's not practical nor good for daily use.
she does have perfect skin, so not a lot of foundation is needed ;)
@@ninimimi2906 indeed, nevertheless i dont think it is the best for people who are dealing with acne to wear heavy base make up. Yet again if it makes one feel better about themselfs what can i do but to support.
@@ninimimi2906 you can still wear less foundation even with blemishes. I suggest watching videos by haley kim. It was very helpful for me.
I agree, I prefer taking good care of skin so it looks it's best and then using minimal foundation and concealer. The best part of using small amounts of makeup is that if you do decide you need to add more in a certain spot, the thin layers are what helps it have lasting power. It also just tends to look more natural, I think.

And I adored watching her use a very light touch and specific placement of products to enhance and highlight certain features - her eyes! I'm lucky.

I could watch her put makeup on her face all day it looks so satisfying with her french and everything 😂
Her technique is excellent and timeless, I really wonder what this video would look like without the heavy beauty filter blurring her skin so completely - she's evidently beautiful with or without it

Thank you! I learned something here! Plus the Franglais is adorable

Love how this is so much lighter and minimal and targeted to areas of the face than most of the American tutorials I watch in which most of the time they literally paint thick layers on their faces.

Her makeup enhanced nothing, her face was perfect at the start of the video.
I think makeup is a medium and can be used for enhancement, transformation or whatever you can imagine....actually
So many of the products she used are my staples, I'm very impressed. Apart from the serums, wow those are pricy!
