Oh my God. After 50 thousand videos, I FINALLY found one that explains how to use this vacuum. THANK YOU!! Thank you for creating a video to show how easy it is. Others make it too complicated or leave out important details.
Bless You! You provided great information and tips. No one ever told me about the value of using the plug in the second intake to increase the suction. Bleeding the air out of the filter pump is also a really good tip. And the advice about not lifting the vacuum out the pool is solid gold. The dude who suggested using the outflow to get rid of air on the vacuum hose line.. That's genius! I'm now encouraged to take another stab at vacuum cleaning my pool. Thanks!
Best video, you get to the point without a lot of blah blah blah. My flow clear came with 0 instructions, I was trying to use pictures on the box to set it up.
Thanks for the video, very clear and to the point.Just an idea, I let my kids walk circles in the pool before they get out. That way the water will start spinning and when it calms down, all the debris is in a pile in the middle :)
I watched your video of setting up my Bestway pool prior to putting my own up. It helped me a thousand times. And now I have watch this video and am on my way to purchase a vacuum. Thank you so much for these videos they have been a huge help as the instructions are an absolute joke
Indeed this video is veeeery helpful, although as an apprentice myself I think I'm going to look for something less complicated. Thank you very much, excellent presentation, the troubleshooting is very appreciated, you stick to the DETAIL and THIS makes the TRUE DIFFERENCE from all the rest unboxing videos.
Thank you for the videos as the instructions are limited! I wanted to add a helpful hint. After you have placed the suction hose in the pool, turn the pump on(before attaching it to the wall) hold the free end of it up to the pool return for a minute and it will blow any remaining air in the hose out the the end of the sweep head instead of sucking it into your pump and filter and possibly losing prime! Works excellent. I will try and post some other things I've learned and came up with as well. Thanks again.
You're the last true family man! Thanks, have watched your 3 videos on the pool numerous times in my 5 days of pool ownership. Considering buying a jeep just for your other videos :)
I appreciate all your pool advice I've had several pools just not the 1500 pump I need to get the adapter to hose for inside the pool and that filter between the vacuum head and suction thank you sir
Awesome video bud. I've had the same pool for 3 years with all the parts. Couldn't find any videos on how to make that vac work let alone how to set it up. I would submerge myself with a long extension on my shop vac and just get what I could after scrubbing the bottom with only a broom. Have my kid turn it on and off on and off to minimize water intake. It somewhat did the trick but a total pain in the ass. With this video, I was able to set it up in 10mins and do it the right way👍. Thank you sir!!
I apologize in advance if you have already answered this question. By the way, thank you very much for this video. All I had been using prior to running across this video was the vacuum that hooked up to a hose & spending way too much money on chemicals. My question is I’ve hooked up my connections per your instructions and the vacuum works great however after a few minutes the debris I vacuumed starts coming out of port A. Am I suppose to plug that port also or change the setting on my pump to recent this from happening?
Can you please do a video about the sand filter? We bought this pool last year and your videos are great and very understanding unlike the instructions it came with or other videos I watched thank you 😊
The plugs are to stop the gravity fed water from coming out the pump during daily filter cleaning if you don't have a cutoff(my Coleman pool does not). Also Stick the vaccume hose on the exit jet to blow the air out quickly.
If you notice 1 or 2 screws on the grey filter you took off the pool, you should be able to just unscrew the top cap off versus taking the whole thing off the wall and it makes it easier to plug it for any other maintenance
I'm new to having an above ground pool and I know it's probably dumb but I had no idea how the vaccum would work. Now I know I can get one and keep my pool clean and in great condition. Thank you so much for the great demonstration and explination.
Glad it helped! Also check out my video on getting pool ready for summer. I demonstrate a brush that I highly recommend getting! It works very well for cleaning.
Thanks for the video. I was looking at your description content, but couldn’t find a link for the vacuum. Can the vacuum and hose be purchased separately or it came with the Costco pool? Thanks
I figured it out after several attempts. Again before you made your awesome video. And did exactly what you did. Thanks for the tips. My pool is not on even ground so the slimmer really doesn’t work. I had thought about disconnecting it. I get better results with the skimmer net. And your right on going very slow!
Truly helpful. Just got a pool, rookie. Not sure how to balance the chemicals to make it stay clear, how often to change the filter, not sure whether to keep pump that came with the pool or purchase more powerful one... no one where we live to learn from.
Your videos have helped alot. I need to know we had to change the sand after just 1 year because of all the tree seedlings but we forgot to put water in the sand filter when changing the sand. There is no air in the lines so do I need to take the cover off and and water?
Great video to learn how to vacuum our new pool! A question that I hope you can answer though. Where did you get the blue adapter that goes into the pool from the vac hose? I can't find anything even close to that piece!
Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to vacuum for weeks, so hoping with your tips it’ll work now. So glad you made this video and the set up one as well!
Haven't used my vacuum yet but I will tomorrow. Thank you. Those 3 plug looking pieces are exactly what you're using them for. I use them for the skimmer that it comes with which will increase the suction when using the skimmer.
Excellent video mister, could you please tell me the brand/make of the solar water heater... how does it work and does it work well? Thanks in advance!!
The Intex rechargeable vacuum works great. You have to actually vacuum yourself but it works flawlessly. No tubing, just a vacuum that works underwater. Cost me 50 bucks on Amazon.
What setting do you use to vacuum? I have poly balls, it says not to backwash when using poly balls or it can clog the filter. So I use the filter setting BUT it just pushes what I’m vacuuming back into the pool 😅
I think I over shocked my pool and it left white powdery substance on floor of pool. Does this type of vacuum remove it or does it pull it through hose and back into pool? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you
Where can I purchase the vaccum kit. I've tried the website but could not find any parts or vaccum kits. Would you have a part number for the vaccum and a location to order. Thanks for any help with this..
Can I cover the port you hooked up to if I hook my vacuum to skimmer tube? I don’t have a skimmer for my pool so we added one over the edge and my vacuum hose fits into that tubing. I’m thinking if I don’t cover the other it’s shooting back out into the pool as I’m vacuuming.
Hi I have a Bestway pool and we set it up just under a tree so would vacuuming be the best thing to keep the pool clean. Please give me some ideas it is my first family pool ever so I am a beginner at this thing. thanks
we have a rectangular bestway pool. but the pump is way cheaper. every time i clean the filter i have to put a bag in the A port to stop water from going into the hose. but it does have a lever to close valve B. wish they did that for valve A
Hello JeepSolid, I know this is very old in today’s fast moving digital world. I am on a hunt for a pool vacuum cleaner and the only part I am missing is the adapter you used for the B outlet inside the pool. What is it called and where can I find one. Thank you.
I have been using a shop vac for years. Finnaly bought a better pump. But what is that blue dohicky's name that attaches the hose to pool for the vac? It's the end of season not much on the shelves.
How do I bleed the air out of my filter Basket? I have the costco 22x12x48 with sand filter. I cannot find anyone to help with questions until you. Thank God for you!
Hi. You video is great specially with your list of item. I am just missing where you got your filter basket. Can you please let me know the brand and where you got it. Thanks
Thank you for the video! My filter doesn't seem to be working as well as it was. I am going to try to start by disconnecting the solar heater tomorrow following your instructions. I'm a nervous wreck I am going to do something wrong. I should turn the pump off before disconnecting solar right? Also, was the vacuum a separate purchase? I bought my pool form COSTCO but didn't have a vacuum? Also the round filters on the inside of the pool...seems like they are not pushing water as of just the last day or two and there is some green algae growing on the filters. What do you recommend?
Yeah, the pump will have to be off is you start disconnecting things. Have you tried backwashing the filter? Maybe your flow is down, because your sand is dirty.
So very helpful!! Thanks! I have a Coleman pool, it's not the same, but it was enough info to figure out the rest. My pump is smaller with a little knob on top of my filter.. it's leaking and I'm not sure what to do. I heard you say something about priming it? Maybe that's what I need to do? Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated. Again, thanks for the video!👍👍😁
Oh my God. After 50 thousand videos, I FINALLY found one that explains how to use this vacuum. THANK YOU!! Thank you for creating a video to show how easy it is. Others make it too complicated or leave out important details.
Same! 😂
What settings on the pump do you use to vaccum.
Your Costco pool videos are SO helpful! Especially since the pool itself came with hardly any directions.
Bless You!
You provided great information and tips.
No one ever told me about the value of using the plug in the second intake to increase the suction.
Bleeding the air out of the filter pump is also a really good tip.
And the advice about not lifting the vacuum out the pool is solid gold.

My flow clear came with 0 instructions, I was trying to use pictures on the box to set it up.
This is the best video i've run across while trying to figure out how to set up my vacuum Thanks
I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!! I am a visual person and this helped so much!!!!
Thanks for the video, very clear and to the point.Just an idea, I let my kids walk circles in the pool before they get out. That way the water will start spinning and when it calms down, all the debris is in a pile in the middle :)
That's a good idea.
Yep! It's the "last thing before you get out" game. 😁
The whirlpool! Yesssss
Thanks for this! Way more explanatory than Bestway's own promotional videos.
I watched your video of setting up my Bestway pool prior to putting my own up. It helped me a thousand times. And now I have watch this video and am on my way to purchase a vacuum. Thank you so much for these videos they have been a huge help as the instructions are an absolute joke
The First Video that shows how to set up this thing! Great Guy!
Thank you. Just installed my new above ground pool and had no idea how to hook up a vacuum. You have answered many questions.
Indeed this video is veeeery helpful, although as an apprentice myself I think I'm going to look for something less complicated. Haha! Thank you. You should buy a Jeep! They're a lot of fun!!
Can you show us how you maintain your pool? in terms of what chemicals you use
I love you man. One of the most useful videos I have seen this year. We totally hooked-up the vacuum the wrong way and it did not work.
Thanks. Watching from New Zealand and cleaning the pool as we come into summer. Very helpful thanks.
Thank you for this video! This has been the best video for this pool! You have helped me a lot!
Thank you Much easier than reading the tiny instruction sheet that came with the system
I appreciate all your pool advice I've had several pools just not the 1500 pump I need to get the adapter to hose for inside the pool and that filter between the vacuum head and suction thank you sir
Been looking for a tutorial from Kermit the Frog for ages! Thanks!

Looks like I’m way late in the game 🥴 lol. Thanks for the Video!! Where do I get that blue adapter from?
Thanks for this video, I just got a quick question about where did you get your water pump please 🙏?
You are like the only guy on youtube with this pool, thank you!
Thx!

Hola va conectado al a o al b ?
Your videos and advices are fantastic. Thank You so much. Your videos provided so much help.
What settings does the pump go on to vaccum the pool?
Truly helpful. Just got a pool, rookie. Not sure how to balance the chemicals to make it stay clear, how often to change the filter, not sure whether to keep pump that came with the pool or purchase more powerful one... no one where we live to learn from.
The filter came with the pool. Sand filter is the only way to go. I have some pool chemical test strips linked in the description of my video.
Thank you for putting up this video, you are the first one on youtube community to feed video clip on this Costco pool.
Hello Sr. Could you please tell me where can I buy this type of vacuum thank you. Your video really help me thanks
Can u show explain wat setting the pump needs to be put into in order to vaccum properly?
I’m sorry but where could we get this vacuum
Thanks for your video, can you tell me Where I can buy this? I'm in AU and can't find these in the Bunnings we got the pool from..
Your videos have helped alot. I need to know we had to change the sand after just 1 year because of all the tree seedlings but we forgot to put water in the sand filter when changing the sand. There is no air in the lines so do I need to take the cover off and and water?

I have a 22*52 aboveground pool
What size sand filter should I get .
Thanks
You are a saint for making this vid! What a guy!
Haha. Thanks.
Haven't used my vacuum yet but I will tomorrow. Thank you.
Those 3 plug looking pieces are exactly what you're using them for. I use them for the skimmer that it comes with which will increase the suction when using the skimmer.
Cool. Thanks for the feedback.
Where can I get this vacuum
Hi, nice video! Do you know where I can get that blue adapter or how is that type of adapter called ? 2:31
Great video!!! The best I’ve seen but does this vacuum pick up algae as well?
It can break it up and suck the algae into the filter
1st- Thanks for your helpful instructions
2nd-Does this vacuum works with algae or just large debris?
Awesome video!! Where can I find this adaptor? 2:31
Thanks I had a feeling my hover wasn't working because of the air watching this did helped me out
Where can I get the blue adapter from 1.25 to 1.5 that you used in the “b”
I bought the flowclear vacuum. It has an adapter that screws onto where the screen goes. Works pretty good
Did you ever find an adaptor? I just got this with no adaptor
I ended up buy a pvc pipe about 6” long from lowes plumbing section. Like .99$
Hi from down under (Aus), thanks for your video!!
Thank you so much. We had it hooked right just didn't get all the air out. Works now though. Thanks again!
Very helpful, I’m waiting for my pool vacuum from Amazon, this video is definitely very helpful. Thank you!
Hey thanks so much I had no clue how to use and couldn’t find out how to do anywhere else
Does this vacuum system allow you to vacuum to waste? We’re trying to get rid of algae on the bottom of our pool. Thanks!
So what setting do you turn the pump too when you vacuum.Backwash rinse filter????
That exactly what u want to know. What setting do I put the put on when I vacuum
Excellent video mister, could you please tell me the brand/make of the solar water heater... how does it work and does it work well? Thanks in advance!!
Nice video Where did you buy that filter?
The Intex rechargeable vacuum works great. You have to actually vacuum yourself but it works flawlessly. No tubing, just a vacuum that works underwater. Cost me 50 bucks on Amazon.
Do you keep it on the same setting or do you have to change it?
A fantastic video sir, very helpfull indeed, steve from the uk,
What setting do you use to vacuum? I have poly balls, it says not to backwash when using poly balls or it can clog the filter. So I use the filter setting BUT it just pushes what I’m vacuuming back into the pool 😅
Thank you!!!! You are thorough through instructions and the only video anywhere!!!!
Where can I find a blue adapter for my Pool does anyone know where l can buy one
Can you tell me where you got the adapter to put into the filter inlet to attach the hose? I’m having trouble finding one for my pool
I think I over shocked my pool and it left white powdery substance on floor of pool. Does this type of vacuum remove it or does it pull it through hose and back into pool? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you
What’s this vaccum called, I’ve been looking for it everywhere I can’t come across it
Where can I purchase the vaccum kit. I've tried the website but could not find any parts or vaccum kits. Would you have a part number for the vaccum and a location to order.
Thanks for any help with this..
Thank you so much for your videos on this pool as the instructions that come with it along with their “how-to” videos suck! You rock!!
Thank you. Glad it helped!
Wouldn’t a 4-way tee with ball valves work?
I was so confused and this video has the best explanation ever!!! Thank you so much!! I appreciate u.
Where did you find the adapter piece?
Will the Costco vacuum pick up small rock or just leafs
Hi I have a Bestway pool and we set it up just under a tree so would vacuuming be the best thing to keep the pool clean. Please give me some ideas it is my first family pool ever so I am a beginner at this thing. thanks

Hello,
What was the pump position? Drain? Filtering?
Thanks
I have been using a shop vac for years. Finnaly bought a better pump. But what is that blue dohicky's name that attaches the hose to pool for the vac? It's the end of season not much on the shelves.

Great job, thank you! I've bought the same and now I'm able to use it the right way ;) - with your help. Greetings from Germany
It is very helpful! Do you take this pool out after summer time? How would you store all these stuff? Thanks
Your videos are so helpful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I feel fairly confident in vacuuming now!
Does the adaptor not come with the kit
Hey thanks, the owners guide says should.not be a inside the pool while the pump is running... Do you know why?
Thank you for the video! My filter doesn't seem to be working as well as it was. I am going to try to start by disconnecting the solar heater tomorrow following your instructions. I have the same pool as you do, but I can't seem to get the b port off for vacuuming. I'm afraid to break it or put a hole in my pool
What filter setting do you put it on when you vacuum?
Where do you get that blue piece that goes into pool intake for vacuum hose? I can't find it anywhere
