Decked website explicitly says "no drilling necessary" so how about an explanation why you're drilling ??
I used silicone on the holes that were drilled. No issues. Think outside the box.
Just from my experience. Decked system is waterproof. However, it isn't moisture proof. 3 weeks of having it our tools started rusting. Perfect if you remove items everyday or when using non tool items.
use those bags that pull moisture out the air
@@hydrohedinvictus8697 We tried it. Now that we park the service vans indoors at night.. We had no more issues.
One of my service tects is going to upload a video on the rust it caused.
Did you have a problem with tightness with the bed rug sides? Decked said they don’t recommend it. Want to do it in my F150
People complain about drilling holes in a truck stop being such a snowflake.
Why not utilize the tie-down spots at the corners of the bed rather than drill holes in the truck? That broke it for me. Bummer.
I'd think this could be designed to just fit between your wheel wells without having to drill 10 holes in your truck. It'd be a great camping item if it'd only come to the tops of the wheel well, with drawers not as tall, giving you more room for mattress and sleeping, and less room for gear. I'd get one if these were more to fit my camping needs for a 2014 regular cab long bed.
Ka3Ty yup, drilling kills it for me. Unless it's a reinforcement or a upgrade for the vehicle itself, I won't be drilling holes in anything.
Thought there's no drilling?
Nice
I don’t like drilling through my truck either, you pay almost 30k for a truck and bore holes through it, got to be a better way
You drill into your truck in the Mid-Atlantic and you're just asking for rust to sneak in and begin to destroy your truck.
Rust on a plastic bed huh? Lol
Huge unnecessary waste of space
