I used to wake up insanely early to do a full beat before going out- 1) bc I loved makeup, but 2) subconsciously, I was also dealing w a lot of insecurity and didn’t feel “comfortable” with little to no makeup & it definitely impacted the way I viewed my natural face. So the comment about it being jarring is very real, it was a hard habit and mindset to break. But now I opt for less or no makeup on the daily and it’s so freeing
make up is soooo fun but can really distort how we see our natural faces, it can be a hard balance to find, but I also feel free-er now too and when I wanna go wild and have fun it feels even more special to me

Southern California is my HOME and I miss it so much and wish I was moving with you - because Utah is no bueno right now. PS - that Revlon lipstick is the best. I use the exact one.
