Lots of great ideas 👍
I just starting crafting 4 mos. ago, and needed a stand for my wreaths, when I sell at the parking garage Antique/Flea. I used 2 tomato cages I had and my old metal plant stand on wheels. I zip tied one cage upside down to the stand. Then slide the other cage upright into the 1st cage. Then zip tied them together. The metal stand helped give the cages some weight for windy days. I decorated the cages with garland to help hide the cages and used S hooks to hold wreaths. It works great
That’s an amazing idea. I’d love to see a picture!!
That sounds like that worked good. For you, but I’m a visual person and I have read this a couple of times and just can’t figure it out (how it looks and how it would works for holding wreaths)😂. When I first started out I tried so many different ways to hold my wreaths while I sold them at Craft shows the first one that worked really well (until I started doing several shows a year and was taking many wreaths ) was wreath holders that they used for funerals or at the cemetery. A few years back now, I just didn’t have enough room to use them so my husband made tri-fold stand alone board. Luckily he is the one who sets me up because he made it out of 2x4 and peg board. It holds several using S hooks to hold them.
Amazing ideas for floral storage. They are always a difficult thing to store because they take up space even thought they aren’t heavy.
Agreed!!!!!! How are you doing, my friend??
@@TheCraftyOrganizer doing well! Would love to chat with you sometime soon 💕
😅
@TheCraftyOŵwwe èwrganizer
I love the use what you have philosophy. We all have different space & different needs. Videos like this one help us all. Thank you, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I used an old metal shoe rack for my flowers. It looks great, doesn't take up much space and now I have easy access when I'm crafting.😊
That's perfect
Bargain Bethany used a dollar tree paper towel holder for wreaths. She used screws to attach the base to the wall and could hang two or three wreaths on each one.
She also used this to hang coiled up extension cords.
Nice!
These are terrific ideas! I use a cheap fabric and plastic shoebag that’s supposed to hang on the back of a door, I slit a hole at the bottom of each bag for the stems to poke through and i nailed it to a skinny tall shelf that holds my pick machine, floral foam, and other supplies but some of these are really SO much prettier and neater! The dowel/wire basket one I LOVE! I may have too many for that though.
If you come across a giveaway or inexpensive bookcase, you could just have it dedicated for your flowers
3(three) of us are in a 2BR apartment. I sort by faux flowers by season. I don't need all the stems, I use plastic shoeboxes and under bed storage. Tina, Al's wife
I have a piece of white lattice about 2ft wide and the length of my headboard above my bed. I have various artificial flowers stuck down behind it. I plan to get a small strip of artificial grass and put it across the bottom. I have thought of cutting out a decorative fence post out of foam core for each end of the lattice to finish it out. I love having my flowers out where I can see them!
OMGosh!!! That would be SO CUTE!!! Please do that! I'd love to see how it looks!!!!
😳that sounds fantastic!!! ❤️😀
Alright, I love these ideas instead of having to just put them in a tote!!
Yay!
I enjoyed all your ideas, Thank you so much for all your time, X O
I like the idea with the dollar tree baskets hung on the wall with cup hooks. In a small space, you could put them along the wall above the door. It wouldn't take up a lot of room and use wall space that is usually unused.
Exactly!!!
Oh my gosh, you came up with some awesome ideas on how to clean an organize your sunflowers. I love the idea of hanging them in the tubes from the paper towels holders. We all have paper towels, cardboard and they looked very nice on the wall and I also like the one idea about the triangle in the corner, that looks very very easy to
I liked the tube idea too!!! Love the solutions that are free!!!
I tried the tube idea but I ended up using pvc pipe because I kept tearing the tubes! Flowers would get tangled and I would jerk too hard! I’m a little impatient!! Lol
You are brilliant! I hadn't even thought about my flowers. I love the idea of them being out because they're so pretty!
I like seeing them too
Thank you for your great ideas. My local fabric stores will give you free the centre card board roll from rolls of fabric. They are incredibly strong and have a great width .
You could make so many things from those!!!!
I used a hanging mesh wire file holder for my floral. It is typically found with office supplies. Got the one that has 5 sections, and I put zip ties on the end to be able to hang it up on pegs.
Amazing idea
I cannot thank you enough for the plethora of ideas for storing flowers. I have been desperately looking for something and you have proved sooo many great ones. You are the best!!!!!
I'm so glad I could help! 😊
Oh my goodness...so many great ideas. Things I never would have thought of using. Thank you for sharing. 🥰👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
Really great ideas for storing your florals! Because I have a small space I gave up creating with florals. I'm more into paper crafting now and crocheting! But I still like to watch these kinds of videos because sometimes these storage ideas work for other supplies! Thanks Norrine! 😍
I'm with you, Diane. I have less and less florals these days. But I do love looking at ideas!!!
How creative, thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
I LOVE these ideas!! Thank you, thank you❤. You offer unique and practical ideas that range in price. You are my favorite craft organizer idea lady!
Wow! Thank you so much!!
I love these ideas! I'm trying to decide which one is going to work for me 😂😂😂
I’ve always loved all your ideas, such a very sweet person, love watching all your videos. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us. You are so talented and very creative.👍👍🙏🏽♥️♥️
I don't have a lot of florals, so I use an ice bucket with jars inside it to support stems. For stemless florals, I use a Dollar Tree basket.
That's a great solution!
Oh my, I don't have to just pile them. Seriously these are genius and I appreciate you posting them.
So glad they were helpful!
Thanks for the great ideas! I used the wire grid from dollar tree!
Perfect!
♥️♥️♥️♥️💕Thank you!
You are so welcome
Great ideas. I need ways to keep florals organized.
Glad it was helpful!
I loved all of them. So happy this popped up today. Is, cleaning the basement b❤
Yay!!’
What a life saver! I have so many florals and your displays are amazing and functional ❤❤❤
I got a shoe organizer for storing my florals. Since the pockets were fairly wide, and I didn’t want the florals to fall out, I cinched the middle of each pocket with a close pin, which basically created two slimmer pockets.
THAT is so smart!!!!
Great ideas! I keep my small florals in plastic storage boxes categorized by color. Large florals are in cardboard boxes labeled by season. Doesn't look that lovely but they are kept clean. I am in Arizona so dust is always a problem. 😊
That's perfect!!!
You are a genius! Thank you so much. I now have a path through my basement.
OH! That makes me so happy to hear!!!!
What a timely video for me. I don't really have a lot of florals but you gave some great ideas to think about.
I heard you mention this would be in an upcoming video about a week ago when I was doing a massive closet reorganization and grumbling to myself about the jumble known as my faux florals. I'm in a small apartment but I love to decorate for all holidays and that particular aspect has felt unwieldy and out of control for awhile. I'm not entirely sure which one I'll use but I'm going to do some measuring and figure out the best spot. Thank you for this great resource!
How exciting!!!! Take before and after pictures for me!!!
Awesome floral storage ideas. A year or so ago, you created a "flower market" stand, which, with a few modifications, I recreated to accommodate my floral stash. It's been work well for me. Thank you, Norrine.
That is so awesome! I still love that little planter stand and use it. I’d love to see photos of your creation.
Right now I store most of the general florals in a large dresser drawer in an extra bedroom. The ones that are Christmas related and bits of leaves that have fallen off ivy bushes I keep with gift tags in my Christmas wrap boxes. I use them mostly for gift wrapping so I don’t have a ton.
That is such a smart use of those extra small pieces!!!
I store wreaths in a closet hanging on coat hangers.
I don't have a lot of florals so I use an old wire fruit basket. Thanks for all the great ideas.
That works! Probably looks adorable too! 💐
You are ingenious Norrine. Great tips Thankyou! 🇬🇧🥰
Don't usually watch or subscribe to organizing videos! They bore me! You were different! Liked and subscribed! Lots of ideas, quickly described! Thank you!
Wow! Thank you, Vicki!!! I'll take that as a compliment!
You hit home on floral storage. As I have hundreds of floral but I put in totes. I like your ideas better. Good to see you been awhile.
Oh wow! Thank you so much!!
I use the IKEA bag organizer. I love these for flower organization.
It's an awesome use for it!
Every time I hear “hang it on your closet door” (not just this video, and not just you) I want to cry. I don't have a closet door. I have tons of floral, not as many as cross stitch supplies, and have literally said THIS WEEK I am getting rid of all of them. I do have space on my pantry wall for Dollar Tree cooling racks. Another thing on my list, LOL.
Great ideas. Now, how about a video on storing needle craft supplies? I knit, crochet, and serious cross stitching. Any ideas on storing these?
I'll see what else I can come up with!
You are a God send! Thank YOu SOOOOOOOOO mUCH!
You are SOOOO welcome!!!! Hope it gave you some useable ideas. 💐
Just what i needed. Thanks, lots of great options!
Thank you for the inspirational video! Love the hanging wreath storage.
You are so welcome!
what an incredible array of possibilities! useful for other things also.
Could use freestanding racks to make floral decor too.
Thanks for the ideas!❤❤
I have an old twin size box springs on the wall that I store mine in. Our place is old and rustic anyways so it goes with the house.
I love that look!!!
Hi did you seal the springs with anything first? Guess if they're not rusty you wouldn't need to hey?
Hi, I'm Nati from New York and I just subscribed to your channel
I converted my closet into a craft station .I used one of the sliding doors as a table
and the closet pole to hang ribbons and baskets. These are all great ideas 😀
Welcome!!! I LOVE closet spaces! Way to go on the creative storage!!!
❤Fabulous ideas. I have them in a large drawer right now and it drives me crazy because I cannot see what I need or have. Will be utilizing at least one if these ideas. Thank You.
You are so welcome!
Wow thank you for sharing i have my florals all over the place. Thank you ❤
You are welcome!
Hi Norrine! As I organize my Creative space, you’ve become my good friend! I was up against faux flowers, they take a lot of space & I realized I only use the flower, sometimes the leaves. When at the $ store I rem what you said & bought some of the wire paper sorters with intentions to hang & display the flowers. Instead, I had an empty 13x13 bin on my shelf, so I utilized your plastic bag idea, took them off & discarded the wire stem & bagged them using your system! All fit & I’m happy to report I have room but won’t be buying any time soon bc they’re readily at a glance now! THANK YOU❣️🌺🌷
Woohoo!!! Thanks for 'taking me with you' to the Dollar store!!! And consider me your personal cheerleader and giver of suggestions! 💜
I don’t have any florals but love seeing your ideas!
Wow, these are fantastic ideas! I need a new system. My flowers are falling out when i grab anything out.
Hey!!! I watch your channel!!!! You did a Bee theme video about a year ago that I absolutely loved! So nice to see you here!!!!
I love your ideas for flower storage.
Some really great ideas. My shorter ones are currently in a shoe bag over a door, but I didn't think to cut the bottom out for some of the longer ones🤔
I have driven myself crazy trying different ways to hang them on my wall and pegboard. I always ended up piling them into my giant clear storage containers because it felt too cluttered for me. This of course resulted in me having to make a big mess every time I wanted to try something with them.
A couple of weeks ago I bought an extra long under the bed storage bin for my stems and two sets of 12qt clear bins for the rest of my florals.
I had been resisting this idea because it felt wasteful for some reason. Turns out it isn’t. I love it!! I can easily see what I have and get what I need without keeping them out.
Yay!!! A system that works for you AND makes you happy is ALWAYS the best system.
Love it!!!!!! This video was 'really' helpful!! I have florals in boxes and bags and most times they are a mess!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!!❤ ✌
You are so welcome!
Thank You for all of these ideas! ❤
Ashley
Great ideas! Thanks so much. I have a huge box and then some (ha) in the middle of my craft room floor, and it's a diaster.❤
Hopefully one of these ideas help you get them off the center of the floor and up and ready to use
Very useful ideas. So grateful for your very practical and useful videos!
I have a lot of sunflowers all over my home. Thanks for a lot of great information on how to deal with it.
Sunflowers are one of my favorites - they are just so happy!
I have my florals in my back porch laundry, so I have to keep them dust free and minimise sun exposure thru a window. I reinforce the top couple of inches of one side of large vacuum seal bags, with thick tablecloth plastic. That then works as a channel to slide the arms of IKEA's Brogrund triple extendable towel rails in. Small amounts of florals/ foliage go in smaller snap lock bags inside the vacuum bags. I close the top, but don't vacuum them.
Putting the florals in longways makes them easy enough to pull out.
It takes up no floor space, and as long as the wall fixings are appropriate weight wise it makes good use of awkwardly higher up corners of the room.
Great tips! Thanks for sharing.
This was so inspirational! I ended up finding a wall mounted wire rack that was originally for file folders. I closed up the sides with some scrap poster board I had. Works perfectly for me!
That is amazing! Way to go. 💐
The lattice one is my favorite ❤
Hi! I just found your channel, and I'm so glad I did! I'm organizing my wreath shop as we speak, and I can't tell you how happy I am to see all of these great ideas for organizing my greenery. I keep my faux flowers on two very large 8' tall black stackable shelves from Amazon, I believe, with rectangular holes in each shelf so the stems can just go through. It's working well. I was challenged with how to store my greenery, but now I have some very good ideas from your video. Thank you so much.
I'm so glad!!! Hope to see you again 💐
You have great ideas. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Love your ideas! Thank you so very much. The paper towel holder for flowers will work for me and decorate wall space.
Yay! Glad an idea will fit your needs!
All genius ideas! I use my bathtub to store my florals---I have one of those giant corner whirlpool tubs that is so difficult to get in & out of, & I do not like baths, so I started putting my florals into various containers such as large plastic jars & metal floral cones that I'd thrifted & even the molded styrofoam holder from a case of wine I'd ordered..It looks really pretty (as opposed to a big empty white tub) & I can easily look down & find exactly what I want!
I'll bet that looks beautiful.
Thank you so much. I have been trying to figure out how I could store all my flowers
I don’t have a lot. You’ve got me thinking. I v got chicken wire.i think I’ll put it on a picture frame and hang it
That is a GREAT idea!!!!
What wonderful ideas!thank you my floral are is a disaster.
Always looking for vertical storage. Haven't seen a few of these great ideas.
Glad you liked it
For my long-stemmed botanicals, I buy standing laundry hampers, that have gridded fronts, from Dollar General. I then subdivide by color and/or season. Thx 4 more great ideas
Sounds like smart storage!
I have a ton of those crates but but not a lot of room. I have a lot in a shoe organizer and I been sticking some in an old folded up bunny cage
Shoe organizer works great! I am always happy for you to use what you have.
Hello Norrine. Love all these ideas for storing flowers! TYFS your wonderful ideas, I've used many of your storage solutions around my house! Thanx again 🤗
I'm so glad that past suggestions have worked for you! Thank you for checking in.
Hi! New subscriber here! I love trying to find new ideas to organize those annoying things that are simple to organize but you never think of them until you see them. …like using the baby crib mattress I would’ve never thought of that. Thank you for bringing this video to us and thanks to everyone who contributed! Great ideas❤
Welcome, and thanks!!!! Hope to see you again. 😊
I always enjoy your channel!
I appreciate that!
I needed this so badly
Yay! Hope they help you organize your florals!
Wow! what a great bunch of ideas for storing silk flowers.
Thank you, Luba!!!! I keep trying to find a good time to call you!!!!!
Thank you for all your help! The way you helped me with mine was great!
Yay!!!! That is great to hear!
Tyfs what a wealth of information love my hanging shoe rack for most all my flowers ❤
Absolutely fabulous ideas! Thank you!
Glad you like them!
I use a plastic lattice hung like a peg board with spacers behind it I can keep Hugh amount of florals in plain site & easy to get to.
I love that!
Thank you, thank you for this video. I have accumulated a VERY large amount of faux flowers for crafting. The ideas you mentioned will come in handy when I start the process of creating a crafting area/storage area in my basement. My former craft room became too small as I obtained more supplies. Flowers were my worst nightmare. I found out that I had two child/pet gates that were no longer needed. I was going to donate until I noticed the size of each square and realized how easily they would accommodate the stems. I just need to figure how I will mount them. Again thank you for the heads up and I will look forward to your next video. ~Debi in Ohio
You could use a couple of curtain rod brackets.... I'd use two at the top, and two mid way. Should cost less than $5 for them!
Thank you so much for the feedback. Until your next video. Have a great day!
FABULOUS! Can’t wait for the glue gun holder!
Coming soon!
Great ideas, you present very well.🎉
Thank you! 😊
I always use the DT s hooks to hang my wreaths (covered in clear trash bags) from the rafters in my garage. I bend the metal shower hooks from DT and use them to hang signs from my peg board for later use when I’m ready to create. I have one of those small plastic covered (with a zipper), three shelved, wire rack greenhouses I store some of my florals in it. My issue is that I need another. I love it because it holds quite a bit and keeps them dust free. I also converted an old wooden dvd holder into ribbon storage. I attached cup hooks on the sides and slid wooden dowels into them. I use it for my medium sized ribbon spools. I use pants hangers for my smaller ribbons spools.
You are my kind of upcycler!!!! Way to go!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer ❤️🥰
Currently I am using the over the door shoe organizers but they are hanging from a closet rod at the far end of my craft room. I cut the bottom open on some of the lower 2 rows to accommodate longer stems . I can see them but they are not taking up shelf space in boxes or vases.
Perfect!
Thanks so much for that , so many good ideas ❤️ love watching you and your craft and storing ideas ❤️good to see you back❤️🇳🇿🦘🦘
Thanks so much! 😊
Lots of great ideas. I saved some refrigerator rack shelves and I think they have a built in angle if they were hung with the bigger end at bottom. Thanks for all the great ideas.
That's a great idea!
Great video Norrine ❤
Thank you! 😄
Great ideas, I love them. Before I became unable to go up and down the stairs I found (on FB market place), a bunch of those tall galvanized pales and I had a large cubicle that I stored craft supplies and on top I placed the pales and was able to separate my flowers by color, but I don’t have that kind of room on the main floor.
I'll bet that looked so pretty!
Awesome ideas!
Thank you! 😊
I use glass vases I have had..
Pretty!!!
Thanks Norrine for all the great options that I've never thought about.
You are so welcome!
I just love this. Now that the children are out, i am sitting with these big iron army trunks where their toys and junk were stored in. How can I convert and use them in my art room. You are so great in creating and converting things. I do not want to throw them out. Please.
OH MY GOSH! I'd stand them up on their end, and create shelve inside!!! The top would be shallow shelves, and the deep part would be deeper shelves! Use this technique for adding the shelves: ua-cam.com/video/C4NN6PjUMGY/v-deo.html
Great suggestions. I only use flower peddles and leaves. So I strip mine and keep them in Ziploc bags. Huge HUGS! Namesta 🐞🐞🐞
SOOO smart!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer you're so kind.
TY sweet girl. 🐞🐞🐞
Norrine: 👏👏👏
You sure know how to do your research!!! Thank You
These are some fantastic ideas for any size collection/budget/space. Now I have a resource when I get to this project🤪
Have a great day until next time XO
❤️😀
You are so welcome!
I was gifted a ton of flowers which were gifted (garrage sale Leftovers). I need ideas to.use up
Julies Designs and Signs is full of ideas for florals.
