Really cool and useful trick! I have many in storage for extended times, so this squashing becomes an issue! Now I know what to do to revive them 😃. Really appreciate you sharing this one! 💖
I recently bought, on line, 6 garlands with tiny roses throughout. When they arrived all the roses were smashed as were many of the leaves of the garland. I thought to myself, I wish I could iron them but that would take forever, and then I thought, why don't I throw one in the dryer on high heat for 5 minutes to see if that could help. After the 5 minute mark, I was happy to discover that they weren't melting so I left them in for another 10 minutes. Once the 10 minutes were up, they were looking a lot better, I was amazed. So, I gave them another 5 minutes and they were perfect. I thought I was a genius. LoL!!!! :)))
Thanks for this. Good to know. Do you have hacks for the plastic branches on a eucalyptus Garland to fluff it up. The main stem is wired but all the little branches with leaves are plastic so the whole thing sits flat. I tried green wire but it shows through between the leaves. I need to put 2 garlands together. And would love to add another (3rd) with roses or flowers for color. Do you have any hacks please? Thank you
Tough one! I've never actually worked with that. Unfortunately I'm guessing here, but maybe if you tie the ends to chairs (or similar) and run your hands over the leaves a few times and let gravity do it's work on them for a day? You could try a hair dryer as well. Best of luck, please let me know what works!
Thanks! Just received some silk roses to craft all smushed up but very pretty silk petals just like yours. This hack makes sense, and will try it! including low heat blow drying the crooked/creased leaves going each which way but the right way😂🍃 🌹🫶🏽🌹
I got these on Amazon actually. Just looked the order up. I often shy away from working with silk flowers because of the smashed bulbs, but this is a great hack! Thank you so much!
Glad you found it helful!

great tips and tricks. do you have any techniques for the fake floral stem leaves? TIA
4:48 the hair dryer is on finally
😂😆❤
Another reason I like to steam it is it doesn't catch on fire and it doesn't make as much noise as a dryer
Thank you! This is so helpful!
Can you tell me pls were you got those flowers from they look lovely ?
Does this work on cheaper artificial flowers like what you buy at Walmart?

@@StarsetMoonfire will this work on my faux silicone orchid pedals?
@@d5078 Sorry, I don't actually know that. I don't think I've tried on Silicone. If you try it, please let me know how it works!
This is so helpful. Thank you!
I'm glad you liked it and found it useful!
Does this work for any type of flower? Can I use this if I have to flatten my flowers for shipping?
Thank you so much !!! I did it and it work perfectly 💕🥰
Glad you found this helpful!
I steam mine. It's the same kind of steamer like you use to steam your clothes, what company did you get those silk flowers from?

Just be thankful they don’t talk about their cousins, dogs, cats, and the fence in the backyard.
@@MrMomo2022 lol, yeah, fillers enough.
Do they have to be silk or can I try on other artificial roses?
They do not need to be silk. These are fabric. I've just always called them silk flowers to indicate artificial. Idk why.
Thank you!
