This looks so dang SIMPLE. I'm waiting on factory replacement seats and I was thinking I needed to get a professional to do it but I ordered hog pliers and I'm going to do it myself! thanks

Hi, I want to replace my lumbar support on 2006 Mustang GT convertible. Ford replaced AR3Z6365500 by a new model wich the part number is 6R3Z 6365500-A that I already bought, Before opening the top leather, would I need other part to fix the new support to the seat, Denis
I have a roush 427r and I don't know if reproduction covers are available for that car. Its got that Jack Roush Signature in the shoulder area. I wonder if these covers could be disassembled and the inserts with the embroidery can swapped from the original seats. I wonder how close these covers are to the originals... Probably would need someone who has the correct equipment to stitch the old and new together.
What are your thoughts on using zip ties instead of the hog clamps? (I know this is an older video, but I'm just now watching it. Great video!!!! it has helped me a lot!)
I wish I knew about you guys before I got Katzkin because they use a zipper for some reason. Like any zipper, if even the slightest thing gets caught, it's not moving

They changed the J-clip system for the front of the bottom cushion. It does NOT hold, at all. The SeatShop KNOWS it does not hold because they send a note with the covers that said Don't worry when the clip does not work. Their 'Fix' is to supply 3 self tapping screws that must be tapped in from the front are are visible. The installation is fine until the very last step, then it turns ghetto fast. $500 should buy better than this. They are well aware that clip has been changed and does not hold. I consider that borderline dishonesty.
Hey M W, unfortunately, we do not send any notes stating that our clips might not work and we definitely do not send any self tapping screws... You may have another companies products. There are companies out there that send our install videos instead of their own, so it is understandable that it can be a little confusing where you got it from. The best way to check this is with an order number, please give us a call at 214-710-2565 and have your order number ready. If we manufactured anything incorrectly we will gladly send over a new product that is manufactured the right way.
Theres definitely a need for these covers since the side bolsters always tear on the S197 Mustangs from wear. Made in the USA too.

Unfortunately, we do not manufacture that item. You might want to check with a traditional upholstery shop in your area.
