P.S. You can negotiate how much financial aid you get if you received a higher amount from another Uni you can ask the one you want to go with to see if they can match it.
good luck man, i’m currently doing a Level 3 Sport course in college and i’ve got a list of like 10+ different unis in the US i wanna get into for sport science, thanks for the advice man, good luck on your journey ✊🏼
@ch0nky_s3al85 yes that’s correct most colleges don’t require it but make sure you check before and if it does require it I recommend using UA-cam and Khan academy which are both free
@@dylanferreira.ok thanks. Sorry I’ve got another question, do I need to do a lot of extracurricular activities like essay comps and do I need to have amazing gcse and a level grades?
Depending on the college but yeah typically you should be around top of your class considering your a international student but that depends on how much financial aid you need as well
yo bro i see in the comments that youve made it to america quick question how do you apply for the funding aids or student loans in general and how should i do my research
Well lucky for you next year the SAT will be shorter and digital instead of pencil and paper. Timing is a huge problem especially in the reading section so I would recommend taking practice tests in test conditions so you can get used to the timing and use khan academy SAT; it is a free platform that is really good. I hope that helped.
@@abdulazharr I know this may sound weird but I genuinely enjoying sitting the SAT it was a very fun experience and if you get a good score it can be used as a advantage. Hope that helped!
hey man i know this is a bit random but can you potentially make a video on how you applied for scholarships. cus i’m trying to applying to Howard and i would 100% need financial aid.
Oh okay you will start applying at the start of year 13, so you still have time. I would recommend just making your extra curricular better and applying for competitions!

You don’t need the SAT for Harvard it’s optional and if you using the British system you would normally apply using your GCSE grades and your A-level predicted grades, and they don’t favor people who don’t don’t take the SAT or for people who take the SAT!
P.S. You can negotiate how much financial aid you get if you received a higher amount from another Uni you can ask the one you want to go with to see if they can match it.

Hopefully fingers crossed. Are you applying to any school ED?
@@dylanferreira. unfortunately not, i am writing my SAT exam in dec and i kinda need it.
writing essays has been quite a cumbersome task for me, but im trying extremely hard to write the perfect essays
Most schools are test optional you don’t really need it to be honest and applying ED is such a strategic move

What results did you get at A level? Do you need really good A levels to go to a US uni?
Great Advice🙌🏾
did you apply with predicated a level results??
Yes I did

@RandomPerson-ml4wh yes my sixth form created a transcript
As a UK Student, how did you prep and revise for the SAT from home?
Khan academy and UA-cam !
is the gpa calculated based on a levels ???
Gpa is an American term that they use as they use a 0.0-4.0 scale normally
@ yeah but i saw that some people convert their a levels for example an A* is equal to a 4.0
@Nisjsjsksjsjsk yh you can do that but it’s not really common
@ okay thank you
Can i go to a uni without doing A levels
I’m not sure I doubt it
Do they have minimum A level grade requirements like the UK?
Not really college applications in the USA are more holistic compared to the uk
Any advice on sat?
Do a lot of past papers in timed conditions use khan academy don’t pay for resources there are plenty of free resources
As a uk citizen do I need to take an sat/act and if so how do revise for it.
You don’t need it for most colleges
