I'm kind of late on this topic but knowing that the slimes throughout the game Really does signal what the Archons will be doing in the future, So knowing that Mavuika's hair starts glowing was already hinted at from the Pyro Slime.

I have a personal theory: So far, we've seen no other Natlan character wielding the pyro element other than Mavuika. We also know that Neuvillette also got to give Furina her vision by granting her a fraction of his power, this would usually be the archon's role, (I think it is mentioned) he did so willingly. This shows us the archons have no obligation to hand out visions. I think the same happens with the Traveler: by interacting with the statue, the archons grant them the power of their element. I think that based off of the situation in Natlan, Mavuika (if she IS the pyro archon) could refrain from giving a fraction of her power. You have to think that she'd want to be at full strength when she knows an attack from the abyss is likely and that Capitano is near and a fight could break out between the two (which it will!). To be honest, this was just a thought, but I think it could justify Mavuika being the real pyro archon. And she was also shown on official art with all the other archons, so maybe that confirms it as well??? I'd love to hear everybody's thoughts!!

What is the reason the Pyro Gemstone has redacted names is because, the archon lost their ancient name after being defeated in a battle, like the cataclysm!? And the reason they forgot Muratas name is because was erased and that's why Vanessas people didn't remember Murata.

I don't think Mavuika is the the archon because, since the game is mostly basing Natlan on Mesoamerica, the prominent phoenix deity was a "white god" who represented the sky, resurrection and wisdom and is most notably represented as Quetzalqoatl. Their brother/sibling was the real god of war, Huitzilopochtli (hummingbird god), who was said to be clad in blue turquoise and was tied to the sun and hummingbirds; hummingbirds being the avatars for dead warriors reincarnated back into the world. So, how does this link up? Well we know Mavuika can turn into the phoenix in the teaser. We know about Ancient Names and the fact that the "then-Archon" could resurrect from having their name stored somewhere in Irminsul and inscribed in the ruins of Natlan. The last archon was in charge of establishing the tribal runes that we know are inscribed into the flames of the antechamber Mavuika was talking in at the end of the teaser. She seems to be trying to stoke the flames of all the tribal runes to resurrect or evoke something out of them, all of which were blue flames encased in her orange and red flames; Mavuika does not use turquoise blue flames as her main motif. She is worried that Natlan will be destroyed in the next year, which makes no sense because if she was the Archon, she could just resurrect who she pleases and just issue a convention of the Archons much like how they did for the Khaenriahn cataclysm centuries prior if they wanted to prevent the destuction of one of the nations of Teyvat; if she had any form of archonic power, she should be able to leverage it to receive assistance.
This is interesting because I think Capitano might be Mauvika’s brother. After Liyue there’s a theme of Archons coming in pairs due to the previous being dead. Ei and her sister, Rukkha and Nahida, Furina and Focalors. I know we still have Murata and Mauvika but it really makes me wonder if Capitano is similar in strength to Archons because he’s already that powerful and has a delusion. Plus it could be like the hero twins. Siblings is a huge thing in the game and Diluc and Kaeya feel like a foreshadowing of them.

In addition, it was said on the broadcast that death cannot be reversed, which means resurrection does not work in the standard sense. So the only one she can return is Shabalanka

This will forever be the best Genshin Impact update, It's got a lot that we wanted for the past 4 years of this game's support even though that this patch is going to highly focus more on the story which is great, there's still a lot of explanation on what will happen to Mavuika, But since the nation is known for war, I wonder if that "war" might happen throughout the Archon Quest, well I'm sure it's going to have its relations with the name, but it's also been talking about "resurrection" meaning a certain character will be brought back to life, and hopefully that is Signora.

I’m usually right about my initial feelings about archons. When we first saw Raiden, I had this gut feeling she had Dissociative Identity. When we met Furina, I had this feeling she was acting to the point of convincing HERSELF of something false. When I saw Mavuika… she gave off the vibe of someone putting on a show, much like Furina, but there’s something else there. I don’t think she wants this archon gig at all.

She seems to be both Focalors and Furina at the same time. Furina, the performer and Focalors, the actual archon trying to save her people. Perhaps she is the archon but has no idea of what to do to save her nation, while most other archons did have a plan. Running out of time with no idea how to resolve the crisis. That would explain why Capitano says in the trailer Natlan needs new rules.

Personally my theory is that the former pyro archon (whether it’s Murata or someone else) died but reincarnated like a Phoenix does after death into Mauvika! Since like you know, there was a red bird like in the trailer, Mauvika’s hair turns into fire and she has that bit of hair on her head like all the Phoenix drawings depict- (i don’t actually have a reason as to why it was just the first thing that came to my mind when I first saw her-)
So she would technically still be the pyro archon, but maybe just like a weaker form and maybe the traveler helps her unlock her full power so that she can defeat capitano or smth idk 😭

Natlan honestly the most beautiful and diverse region in genshin hoyo devs cooked with this region music and area but not so much about the character... Most natlan character outfits just dont click with me at all. Im 90% sure that capitano is a natlan native and he was some ancient hero and got revived in the night kingdom or he could be a dragon but im sure he's an natlan native definetly, for Mavuika I think she is the archon but in natlan they have many archons before Mavuika and the archons are reincarnation of the current Mavuika kinda like Avatar animated series situation

This is a good video I enjoyed it. Originally I thought that Mavuika wasn’t the pyro archon but the live stream put her in a picture with the other archons they were on a cake holding candles. That’s what lead me to believe she might just be the archon

i dont think munata refers to mu-natlan, as murata or munata both have roots as name in african or oceanian culture(with both being the culture that inspire natlan; murata as an african name, munata as a name found in both africa & papua new guinea). also, the supposed 'children of munata/murata' all have the traits of a fiery red hair, which we havent see much from natlan character as of now. imo, its impossible for munata to be munatlan = children of natlan as what the tweet claimed, it is more probable that both munata or murata served as a name.
also the 'murata' used in jp translation is in katakana rather than kanji which are used for murata the jp surname or himeko. katakana is usually used for words that are adopted from other language.
They already played this card, (the archon not being the archon) in Fontaine, which it's the region we came from. Doing the same thing all over again will be uninspired at best, and the people doing Genshin plot are everything but uninspired. Plus, since the first moment, we knew Furina was some sort of an impostor, as she had no power at all, it was obvious. But Mavuika is powerful, has the power of fire and no vision, she's clearly an archon through and through. What the pyro element not working proplerly may mean is not about the archon, but the element per se. Even after what happened to Nahida, or Furina, their elemental powers are still there. In Nahida's case, her throne remained all the time, and in case of Foçalors, while the throne was destroyed, the element has been given to it's sovereign, so the hydro element is safe. And as such, we can comune to them no problem. Maybe the problem here isn't the Archon, but the element.
I just had a weird thought... When Archons use their burst, their Hair glows, just tip. But in the trailer, we see whole of Mavuika's hair glow (we are assuming she is indeed the Pyro Archon). What if, and this is just my speculation, Mavuika is the only one not in on the conspiracy to overthrow the Celestia. And hence she is the only one fighting with her full power (hence the who hair glowing instead of the tip)? Just some random thought that just the tip of hair glowing implies the older Archons are holding back?
I just wonder if she’s the real archon because the last few archons were weird. Raiden Shogun was technically a puppet, Nahida was Rukkhadevata successor, and Furina was a scapegoat. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s not the pyro archon at this point

Ok, imagine if the premise of natlan is opposite of fontaine. In fontaine we had an archon trying to bring back soverign dragon back in power. But in natlan, turns out mauvika is a soverign dragon of pyro, and is trying to bring back pyro archon back in power(xblanque). The pyro archon sacrificed himself to fend off abyss, and entrusted his companion soverign pyro dragon to take care of natlan(mauvika). And that would also explain why traveller didnt get pyro powers because the archon is missing. I know soverign dragons and archons dont have good relations, but remember that natlan is one place where it is stated that dragons and humans were co-existing. There’s a lot of theories about Bennett being from the mare Jivari, and possibly the re-incarnation of the lavawalker. I also think I heard his voice in the trailer, so I’m curious to see what connections he might have to Xbalanque or the pyro archon/soverign
Hoyo literally played the Archon switcharoo card just recently with Fontaine. They won't do it again. She is the Archon. Even if her powers are for some reason going haywire or getting blocked.
In the trailer Capitano seems to create an ice sword ( I assume it's his delusion ) and around it there's some abyss power so I kind of think he is the bloodstained knight, I would love if he is a human from beyond Teyvat ( an outlander but not a descender ). I really hope he is just human cause we have a good portion of the Harbingers that are just humans namely Pierro, Dottore, Pantalone, Signora, Tartaglia, Arlecchino ( Sandrone use to be if the Alain Guillotin theory is true ) but some are cursed and others modify themselfes. I think it's better for the harbingers to be mostly humans since it implifies the " humans going against celestia "so I would really want Capitano who is the first harbinger to be human ( regarless of if he comes from Teyvat or beyond the sky ) cause it's more powerful story and more cool to see a human equal to a god then a god/non-human/dragon going against a god.

There's this popular theory floating around about Bennett unknowingly bearing the Pyro gnosis and his misfortune surely would support that theory. I see the statues not granting the control of Pyro to the Traveller as yet another symptom of this. Pyro Archon doesn't have the Pyro gnosis. That and the fact Bennett was shown on the banner during the Capturing Radiance demo, hinting at possibility he might be involved in the plot...

Idk if this is too obvious no one mentioned it or yall missed it , when they said all the nation memories at any given moment i think they're referencing the leylines , which are basically the memories of the land , exactly like we have seen in inazuma . Ps : we also know the abyss now has the loom of fate which can alter the leylines not only influence them .

The Sumeru Archon quest is not a mistranslation or a retranslation because the Chinese text is also different. The Travail Trailer text is "虚空劫灰往世书" and the Sumeru Act V is "虚空鼓动，劫火高杨" Either they scrapped the original, or it hasn't happened yet as Dottore's twice foreshadowed burning of the Irminsul tree has yet to come to pass.
I would say the statue issue is more related to the pyro sovereign, rather than an archon issue. Neuvillette and Hydro traveller notably both use source water drops in their kit, the only other character that does this is sigweinne, who comes from Elynas. The archons power comes from the power stripped from the dragons
From what i learned from fontain is that geshin will make sure to keep you from learning the real big boss for awhile and will only reveall it once they start selling that character. I through i was buying the hydro archon but i got duped. The real boss there was nuivellet. And he was the op est character frm fontain or grshin . So ofcourse they sre gonna make sure to not reveal the pyro archon or sovereign untill they are on sell.
Personally i think we don’t get pyro because we don’t currently aline with the “war” motive but when we learn the true meaning in natlans nature of it then it will be unlocked
It make sense, because the 3 new archon namely ei, nahida and focalor/furina are either sibling or created by previous archon and i think the cryo archon is also the same situation or was the child of the previous archon. But something about mavuika seems to be different like i wonder if she had a relation to the previous or archon are chosen by the dragon, like fire keep popping up in the trailer something tell me the primal fire is where the gnosis is truly is. And the reason we dont have pyro traveler is because we have to prove our self to see if we are worthy to use it.
My theory regarding Capitano's identity gonna be the fact that in Commedia the stock character of Capitano is known to be a Spanish during the age of exploration, thus he might be a conquistador. Keep that in mind and look at history, there's one Spaniard conquistador that was known to wreak havoc all across the Latin America - Hernan Cortes He toppled the Aztec in under a year with horses, gunpowder, and a bit of divide et impera tactics of pitching the tribes against one another. To top all that, there's an anecdote that Cortes, in order to persuade the Aztecs to join him, propagandize himself as the incarnation of the God Quetzalcoatl This is in line with possible plot point that Genshin's Capitano loosely based off of Hernan Cortes. And a way to promote himself on his way to the Gnosis, he might as well told the people of Natlan thay he's a reincarnation of Natlan's past god and/or hero. This bit is proven by the fact that he's accompanied by Ororon, and this bit also fulfills the stock character of Capitano's most memorable trait, that he's a braggart - all talk no proof And also his lizard/reptilian/dragon scale is something interesting. I have a theory that Genshin might also tried to incorporate the real-life discussion regarding the true nature of a dinosaur, that there's a long-standing debate are they reptilian or are they avian. Genshin tried to find a middle ground in the case of this debate that their version of the dinosaurs (the dragons) are both reptilian and avian. This is apt, because in most mythology, reptiles and aves are known to be archenemy of one another (Marduk with wings against Tiamat, Garuda against Naga in Indian myth, Apep against Ra) With that in mind, the battle between Mavuika as Phoenix against Capitano with scale is something that's too big to miss, it's literally reptiles against aves all along just like any other mythology. Tl;dr Capitano is Hernan Cortes, tried to convince the natives that he's Quetzalcoatl, but he's the reptilian version instead of avian version of the real world Quetzalcoatl
I really believe that Xbalanque might be a Pyro archon, and Mavuika might have his primal name. I think she is some sort of avatar in Genshin, so the pyro archon has not died but also not alive and its living through mavuika

Cuz I had the same idea because it's was weird when Capitano asked her "what use was the Gnosis in your hands?" I was like Neuvillette had no use for the Gnosis either. And I feel like I’m the only person who’s been suspicious about this. She’s referred to as the archon, her hair glows like an archon, and is even shown in the archon art, but I’ve still not trusted she’s actually the archon
I've also kinda wondered if the Traveler can't get the pyro element because something is wrong with the dragon's power. Some theories think the statues hold the dragon's power as well and that's why Traveler can kinda go with them. So what if instead of the archon, it's something to do with the dragon? Archons and dragons are interconnected regardless, so we'll have to wait and see. Imma crack up if the Bennett theory is right though.

I have a personal theory:
So far, we've seen no other Natlan character wielding the pyro element other than Mavuika. We also know that Neuvillette also got to give Furina her vision by granting her a fraction of his power, this would usually be the archon's role, (I think it is mentioned) he did so willingly. This shows us the archons have no obligation to hand out visions.
I think the same happens with the Traveler: by interacting with the statue, the archons grant them the power of their element.
I think that based off of the situation in Natlan, Mavuika (if she IS the pyro archon) could refrain from giving a fraction of her power. You have to think that she'd want to be at full strength when she knows an attack from the abyss is likely and that Capitano is near and a fight could break out between the two (which it will!).
To be honest, this was just a thought, but I think it could justify Mavuika being the real pyro archon. And she was also shown on official art with all the other archons, so maybe that confirms it as well???

What is the reason the Pyro Gemstone has redacted names is because, the archon lost their ancient name after being defeated in a battle, like the cataclysm!? And the reason they forgot Muratas name is because was erased and that's why Vanessas people didn't remember Murata.

I don't think Mavuika is the the archon because, since the game is mostly basing Natlan on Mesoamerica, the prominent phoenix deity was a "white god" who represented the sky, resurrection and wisdom and is most notably represented as Quetzalqoatl. Their brother/sibling was the real god of war, Huitzilopochtli (hummingbird god), who was said to be clad in blue turquoise and was tied to the sun and hummingbirds; hummingbirds being the avatars for dead warriors reincarnated back into the world.
So, how does this link up? Well we know Mavuika can turn into the phoenix in the teaser. We know about Ancient Names and the fact that the "then-Archon" could resurrect from having their name stored somewhere in Irminsul and inscribed in the ruins of Natlan. The last archon was in charge of establishing the tribal runes that we know are inscribed into the flames of the antechamber Mavuika was talking in at the end of the teaser. She seems to be trying to stoke the flames of all the tribal runes to resurrect or evoke something out of them, all of which were blue flames encased in her orange and red flames; Mavuika does not use turquoise blue flames as her main motif.
She is worried that Natlan will be destroyed in the next year, which makes no sense because if she was the Archon, she could just resurrect who she pleases and just issue a convention of the Archons much like how they did for the Khaenriahn cataclysm centuries prior if they wanted to prevent the destuction of one of the nations of Teyvat; if she had any form of archonic power, she should be able to leverage it to receive assistance.
This is interesting because I think Capitano might be Mauvika’s brother. After Liyue there’s a theme of Archons coming in pairs due to the previous being dead. Ei and her sister, Rukkha and Nahida, Furina and Focalors. I know we still have Murata and Mauvika but it really makes me wonder if Capitano is similar in strength to Archons because he’s already that powerful and has a delusion. Plus it could be like the hero twins. Siblings is a huge thing in the game and Diluc and Kaeya feel like a foreshadowing of them.

In addition, it was said on the broadcast that death cannot be reversed, which means resurrection does not work in the standard sense. So the only one she can return is Shabalanka

This will forever be the best Genshin Impact update, It's got a lot that we wanted for the past 4 years of this game's support even though that this patch is going to highly focus more on the story which is great, there's still a lot of explanation on what will happen to Mavuika, But since the nation is known for war, I wonder if that "war" might happen throughout the Archon Quest, well I'm sure it's going to have its relations with the name, but it's also been talking about "resurrection" meaning a certain character will be brought back to life, and hopefully that is Signora.
The Inazuma story also focused on warfare. I wonder how the Natlan warfare will be done differently by Mihoyo.

I’m usually right about my initial feelings about archons. When we first saw Raiden, I had this gut feeling she had Dissociative Identity. When we met Furina, I had this feeling she was acting to the point of convincing HERSELF of something false. When I saw Mavuika… she gave off the vibe of someone putting on a show, much like Furina, but there’s something else there. I don’t think she wants this archon gig at all.

She seems to be both Focalors and Furina at the same time. Furina, the performer and Focalors, the actual archon trying to save her people. Perhaps she is the archon but has no idea of what to do to save her nation, while most other archons did have a plan. Running out of time with no idea how to resolve the crisis.
That would explain why Capitano says in the trailer Natlan needs new rules.

Personally my theory is that the former pyro archon (whether it’s Murata or someone else) died but reincarnated like a Phoenix does after death into Mauvika! Since like you know, there was a red bird like in the trailer, Mauvika’s hair turns into fire and she has that bit of hair on her head like all the Phoenix drawings depict- (i don’t actually have a reason as to why it was just the first thing that came to my mind when I first saw her-)
So she would technically still be the pyro archon, but maybe just like a weaker form and maybe the traveler helps her unlock her full power so that she can defeat capitano or smth idk 😭

Natlan honestly the most beautiful and diverse region in genshin hoyo devs cooked with this region music and area but not so much about the character... Most natlan character outfits just dont click with me at all.

i dont think munata refers to mu-natlan, as murata or munata both have roots as name in african or oceanian culture(with both being the culture that inspire natlan; murata as an african name, munata as a name found in both africa & papua new guinea). also, the supposed 'children of munata/murata' all have the traits of a fiery red hair, which we havent see much from natlan character as of now.
imo, its impossible for munata to be munatlan = children of natlan as what the tweet claimed, it is more probable that both munata or murata served as a name.
also the 'murata' used in jp translation is in katakana rather than kanji which are used for murata the jp surname or himeko. katakana is usually used for words that are adopted from other language.

They already played this card, (the archon not being the archon) in Fontaine, which it's the region we came from. Doing the same thing all over again will be uninspired at best, and the people doing Genshin plot are everything but uninspired. Plus, since the first moment, we knew Furina was some sort of an impostor, as she had no power at all, it was obvious. But Mavuika is powerful, has the power of fire and no vision, she's clearly an archon through and through.
What the pyro element not working proplerly may mean is not about the archon, but the element per se. Even after what happened to Nahida, or Furina, their elemental powers are still there. In Nahida's case, her throne remained all the time, and in case of Foçalors, while the throne was destroyed, the element has been given to it's sovereign, so the hydro element is safe. And as such, we can comune to them no problem. Maybe the problem here isn't the Archon, but the element.

I just had a weird thought... When Archons use their burst, their Hair glows, just tip. But in the trailer, we see whole of Mavuika's hair glow (we are assuming she is indeed the Pyro Archon). What if, and this is just my speculation, Mavuika is the only one not in on the conspiracy to overthrow the Celestia. And hence she is the only one fighting with her full power (hence the who hair glowing instead of the tip)? Just some random thought that just the tip of hair glowing implies the older Archons are holding back?
I just wonder if she’s the real archon because the last few archons were weird. Raiden Shogun was technically a puppet, Nahida was Rukkhadevata successor, and Furina was a scapegoat. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s not the pyro archon at this point

Ok, imagine if the premise of natlan is opposite of fontaine. In fontaine we had an archon trying to bring back soverign dragon back in power. But in natlan, turns out mauvika is a soverign dragon of pyro, and is trying to bring back pyro archon back in power(xblanque). The pyro archon sacrificed himself to fend off abyss, and entrusted his companion soverign pyro dragon to take care of natlan(mauvika). And that would also explain why traveller didnt get pyro powers because the archon is missing. I know soverign dragons and archons dont have good relations, but remember that natlan is one place where it is stated that dragons and humans were co-existing. But again, thats just a theory, a genshin theory. Thanks for watching.

Hoyo literally played the Archon switcharoo card just recently with Fontaine. They won't do it again. She is the Archon. Even if her powers are for some reason going haywire or getting blocked.

In the trailer Capitano seems to create an ice sword ( I assume it's his delusion ) and around it there's some abyss power so I kind of think he is the bloodstained knight, I would love if he is a human from beyond Teyvat ( an outlander but not a descender ). I really hope he is just human cause we have a good portion of the Harbingers that are just humans namely Pierro, Dottore, Pantalone, Signora, Tartaglia, Arlecchino ( Sandrone use to be if the Alain Guillotin theory is true ) but some are cursed and others modify themselfes. I think it's better for the harbingers to be mostly humans since it implifies the " humans going against celestia "so I would really want Capitano who is the first harbinger to be human ( regarless of if he comes from Teyvat or beyond the sky ) cause it's more powerful story and more cool to see a human equal to a god then a god/non-human/dragon going against a god.

The Sumeru Archon quest is not a mistranslation or a retranslation because the Chinese text is also different. The Travail Trailer text is "虚空劫灰往世书" and the Sumeru Act V is "虚空鼓动，劫火高杨" Either they scrapped the original, or it hasn't happened yet as Dottore's twice foreshadowed burning of the Irminsul tree has yet to come to pass.

I would say the statue issue is more related to the pyro sovereign, rather than an archon issue. Neuvillette and Hydro traveller notably both use source water drops in their kit, the only other character that does this is sigweinne, who comes from Elynas. The archons power comes from the power stripped from the dragons
From what i learned from fontain is that geshin will make sure to keep you from learning the real big boss for awhile and will only reveall it once they start selling that character. I through i was buying the hydro archon but i got duped. The real boss there was nuivellet. And he was the op est character frm fontain or grshin . So ofcourse they sre gonna make sure to not reveal the pyro archon or sovereign untill they are on sell.
Personally i think we don’t get pyro because we don’t currently aline with the “war” motive but when we learn the true meaning in natlans nature of it then it will be unlocked
It make sense, because the 3 new archon namely ei, nahida and focalor/furina are either sibling or created by previous archon and i think the cryo archon is also the same situation or was the child of the previous archon.
But something about mavuika seems to be different like i wonder if she had a relation to the previous or archon are chosen by the dragon, like fire keep popping up in the trailer something tell me the primal fire is where the gnosis is truly is. And the reason we dont have pyro traveler is because we have to prove our self to see if we are worthy to use it.

My theory regarding Capitano's identity gonna be the fact that in Commedia the stock character of Capitano is known to be a Spanish during the age of exploration, thus he might be a conquistador. Keep that in mind and look at history, there's one Spaniard conquistador that was known to wreak havoc all across the Latin America - Hernan Cortes
He toppled the Aztec in under a year with horses, gunpowder, and a bit of divide et impera tactics of pitching the tribes against one another. To top all that, there's an anecdote that Cortes, in order to persuade the Aztecs to join him, propagandize himself as the incarnation of the God Quetzalcoatl
This is in line with possible plot point that Genshin's Capitano loosely based off of Hernan Cortes. And a way to promote himself on his way to the Gnosis, he might as well told the people of Natlan thay he's a reincarnation of Natlan's past god and/or hero. This bit is proven by the fact that he's accompanied by Ororon, and this bit also fulfills the stock character of Capitano's most memorable trait, that he's a braggart - all talk no proof
And also his lizard/reptilian/dragon scale is something interesting. I have a theory that Genshin might also tried to incorporate the real-life discussion regarding the true nature of a dinosaur, that there's a long-standing debate are they reptilian or are they avian. Genshin tried to find a middle ground in the case of this debate that their version of the dinosaurs (the dragons) are both reptilian and avian.
This is apt, because in most mythology, reptiles and aves are known to be archenemy of one another (Marduk with wings against Tiamat, Garuda against Naga in Indian myth, Apep against Ra)
With that in mind, the battle between Mavuika as Phoenix against Capitano with scale is something that's too big to miss, it's literally reptiles against aves all along just like any other mythology.
Tl;dr Capitano is Hernan Cortes, tried to convince the natives that he's Quetzalcoatl, but he's the reptilian version instead of avian version of the real world Quetzalcoatl

I really believe that Xbalanque might be a Pyro archon, and Mavuika might have his primal name. I think she is some sort of avatar in Genshin, so the pyro archon has not died but also not alive and its living through mavuika
I'm so excited for this update! I was also excited when you "theorized" that Mavuika could be the pyro dragon sovereign and then I thought what if Capitano is the Cryo dragon sovereign?! Cuz I had the same idea because it's was weird when Capitano asked her "what use was the Gnosis in your hands?" I was like Neuvillette had no use for the Gnosis either. Then what Mavuika, like Neuvillette, grew attached/fond of the people and the Archon. So many possibilities of what the story could be!! This is gonna be so fun!

And I feel like I’m the only person who’s been suspicious about this. She’s referred to as the archon, her hair glows like an archon, and is even shown in the archon art, but I’ve still not trusted she’s actually the archon

I've also kinda wondered if the Traveler can't get the pyro element because something is wrong with the dragon's power. Some theories think the statues hold the dragon's power as well and that's why Traveler can kinda go with them. So what if instead of the archon, it's something to do with the dragon?
Archons and dragons are interconnected regardless, so we'll have to wait and see. Imma crack up if the Bennett theory is right though.
