Into the Inferno and the Harry Potter Games were literally the best on the Wii with the motion control the bending and the spellcasting on Order of Phoenix were really good
Just a correction, the first game doesnt take place at the beginning of book one, it takes place after the ending of Book 1 or perhaps shortly before the finale
I always thought an ideal game based on Avatar: The Last Airbender would take ideas from Knights of the Old Republic and Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom: an open-world action-RPG with an original story set in the distant past, with the player playing as a bender (element at the player's choosing) getting in an big adventure taking down a conspiracy, and the in-game world would be fully-interactivable.
i feel like every show - game adaptation that’s action should be made by insomniac cuz so far they’ve done it the best them or rocksteady but id rather insomniac
Would love that, I would even go as far as your character finding out he or she is the avatar later on in the game, therefore getting new powers and techniques as the story goes along
Then boy do I have news for you 😎 Sabre Interactive is making a AAA RPG for Avatar with the original creators involved and paramount is cofunding it so it’s a real deal game and Sabre Interactive have made games like Space marine 2 and World War Z
Something about this video specifically got me with the nostalgia. I remember going through the library at school and grabbing cheat code books and seeing games like Avatar in them. What a time it was. Kinda wild how a lot of us will also look back on these times asNd miss the live service and single player story era
I remember playing Avatar Burning Earth coop with my little brothers on ps2. One of my favourite childhood games. When I've cleared it for a few times, I liked to use gameshark to max out Aang's air blast ability and just replay the game from the start and spam air blast the whole game lol. Good times.
Burning Earth has a special place in my heart. I struggled for hours to finish that game, I remember having to visit my grandparents and since I didn't have a memory card, I had to leave the TV on at home for hours only to rage quit the game because I couldn't get through the last fight that's against Zuko&Azula at the drill
I think this is the first video of yours I've watched and I just gotta say you've pretty much mastered your type of content in the way you move your hands and how you speak it's all really captivating welldone man
Man i remember the ps2 burning earth one, used to play it with my sister all the time. Btw, if u want to play a game that makes u feel most like a bender, there’s a spell slinging roguelike called Wizard of Legend, it has 6 elements and hundreds of spells where u mix and match to create a unique moveset of 6 spells. It’s really fast paced and unforgiving, but it’s really fun slinging ice daggers, whirlwinds, fire tornadoes dodging slipping past monsters.
I honest to god can't believe I went through with completing The Burning Earth. I remember the cutscene animations and graphics being some of the worst I had ever seen, and on top of that the final fight with Azula was particularly horrible since I could beat her by simply spamming Aangs wind blast from a distance, because she would just get back up and run right at me every time only to get continuously hit by my attack. xD
When I was a kid, I used to end up at my grandparents’ house after school a lot and they had a PS2 there for me. I only had two games there, Burning Earth and Order of the Phoenix. They carried me through a lot of boredom hours.
The first game was my favourite as I could play as an airbender, waterbender, earthbender, and Sokka. And the plot was something new created for the game so it kept me engaged too.
It's criminal that we haven't had a good Avatar The Last Airbender game Matty, the show is my favourite TV Show of all time, i loved it as a kid and still do to this day and the world and character here have tons of potential for a great game (i'm actually excited for the Netflix show in a couple of days which surprised me)

Thanks for that video. Avatar definitely deserve a proper big game. Like, if they made a PS5 Avatar RPG, I'd go wild! There is soooo much potential there!
The Korra game by platinum definitely deserves more love i think. Even if one of platinum's more mid game's overall, still basically makes it the best avatar game by that measure for me as a platinum head. Shame that the only way new players can try it isPiracy on a pc (if you didn't happen to buy it before it was delisted on ps3/ps4/xbox360/xboxONE, as i was had bought it on a ps4, and when i upgraded to a PRO after it was delisted, was still able to redownload it atleast).
Into the inferno for the wii is pretty sick tho. Even though I haven't tried it on an actual wii, the wii u is rocking it, with pretty stable 60fps. Course it's a modded system and I had to build the game for the wii u, but it works like a charm. Using the wiimote for the bending, fighting part is really sick. Sometimes it felt like it was overpowered. the way you can just swing the bending across the screen in rapid motion, you can literally kill enemies in a few hits. It's a pretty decent experience can really recommend it:)
Into the inferno is my favourite avatar game that i ever played, it just so fun and unique and i like it a lot . You can use any type of element you want(depends on character of coz) and its like you almost has zero limitations. Playing The Burning Earth in Nintendo Wii was the best gaming expirience ever, cause you used the controller as a literal bender, I used to play just to pretend I was the Avatar. They should do something for the Switch, I would love to revisit that gameplay style.
The original avatar the last airbender video game for PS2/Wii was honestly the best avatar game that was released for any console. It was so good and the combat was simple but great.
You know, the first game you showed off, I had it on Wii. I actually really liked this game but umm... It never saved, so I had to play the whole game in 1 sitting xP and yes, I DID THAT. I was upset how it ended, but it was still fun.

I can only imagine what a big Avatar rpg could be like. i was just telling my friend about how the ps2 owl boss fight traumatized me as a kid then this appears on my feed
There is actually a gba avatar game which is a 2d pixel game not sure if it’s just the same story as one of the others only played a small portion of it
I'm pretty sure it's also a PS2 game as well.
@@averagemug maybe but visually it looks completely different
@@olivercussons I'm not sure honestly, I'm relying off of old 2000s 2010s memory right now.
You don't get Toph, you do get Haru in this game.
Wait atla for ps2 let's u play as haru but not toph? Was the game released before her character was revealed in the show?
Magically ‼this 💖💛🧡💖❤💝
I want a fighter z type avatar fighting game
bruh rly said his core memory of playing burning earth was playing it for 10 seconds then returning it lmao
What about an mmorpg? I mean having that world and bending being different classes etc would be pretty neat even more so when you don’t have to be the avatar and there is already lots of lore to draw from
I need someone to review all of the internet avatar games, specifically Escape from de Spirit World.
I had my version of avatar on the gamecube and tbh I never finished it. Didn't finish it cause I didn't know what to do
Who else played it on 360 for the easy 1000 gamescore
Avatar is so mismanaged it’s sad
If someone could make a good open zone game for Avatar, that would be the shit.
I want a final fantasy turn based type game I would love that
