If you take out 10 amp fuse that has hvac on it then restart car with it out for 1 min turn off car put fuse back in then restart car it will reset actuators. You will here them reset after a few seconds. Let it run for up to 3,4 minutes. If it doesn't work try it again. You will get it eventually.
2010 3.9 v6 chevy impala, driver side vents not blowing cold like the passenger side. Replaced driver side actuator hoping to fix the issue. Still having the same issue. Did 3 different reset/relearn procedures, still same issue... Any ideas? Could freon level be low? Any help is most appreciated!
To reset the actuators on gm cars and trucks after a bad actuator is replaced, disconnect the negative battery cable for about 20-30 mins, reconnect the battery cable and turn on the ignition but do not start the car, u can hear all the blend doors recalibrating, takes about a minute, sometimes less, when you no longer hear them working, the calibration it complete, When the blend door actuators become damaged they are designed to move to the heat position, the idea is it’s better to have heat and not freeze versus being hot
Hmmmmm - all temporary possible work arounds . For most cars, while you're there, ummmm... just replace the blend door - lol. For most, it takes 15 minutes (when you know what you're doing) JUST to get to it... let alone 5 minutes or less : ) Also, see many videos on "Resetting by disconnecting battery" and all that. The majority of AC control panels can be calibrated right on the control panel; 0- just look up your make and model car. It that doesn't work replace the broken part.
So my 05 suburban blows cold in rear and hot up front. Well sometimes I can pull over and cut truck off for couple min and it will blow cold, but not lately. So I need to look at the blend doors, or the other thing. Do I have one up front or 2, kinda strange if 2 that they work so simultaneously. It's never one side or the other. Thanks guys
Jason, I guess my actuator is bad. I did what this video said though, got it on cold and then unplugged it. We don't hardly ever use heat here where I'm at so it can stay on cold forever

THanks.
The hero we all needed
😂
Too much talk not enough action and pictures to explain what a waste of time.😢

Clear as mud.

I’m trying this rn

Instructions unclear...screwdriver stuck, fuses blown,..fire in dash...firetruck on the way.....
😂😂😂
I am more confused now than before I watched your video.
I'm with you brother. I was thinking the same thing
Must suck to have low comprehension skills.
I can’t get the blend door actuator to move manually
I tried to calibrate it, but it did not move to the cool cycle..
just a video of talking... no step by step video ... thumbs down sorry, i dont like talking i like action
Damn Andrew Tate looks different now

Did you ever find the cause?

Thanks for the reply I'll try this cause the heat is coming and my AC just started doing the hot front cold rear thing. Much appreciated.
Show me facts
Huh?
You tolk a lot, but don’t show anything, don’t understand anything
Useless
