I was explained in the past from an actual aerospace engineer that more than "maximising efficiency" of the engines, that cone on the Mig 21 is indeed to slow down the air, but to actually protect the blades of turbine engines from slamming into the air while supersonic, which would destroy them. Many aircrafts have similar feature: The F-15 pitches its intakes. The F-14 opens a shield at the entrance to make air to bounce inside and slow down, and so on.

The ADF-11F doesn't had cockpit because it was designed to an AI. Is also a little nod to the reason why AC3 has a 360º rotation camera of the cockpit, since in universe the plane's cockpit of every plane is sealed with the pilot controlling it via a neuronal optic. No. The doors are to protect the intake because the soviet union assumed the first strike from nato would be on the soviet airfields. So the idea was like the ww2 YAKs they would need to take off from improvised runways which also would have a lot of debris.
The X0-02 (the one that you can unlock after you complete campaign for MRP 2,000,000) can fire its missiles simultaneously too.

0:05 didn't these scratches already exist in like ace combat zero? I remember kind of knowing what direction my plane was in using those scratches when the camera was locked onto the target.

I just bought the season pass dlc for pc yesterday. Ive only played the raven and morgan once so far(and the first sp mission)
This is interesting, i rarely use first person or cockpit view.
If you buy the DLCs use the falken or Morgan if you don't get the top gun DLC

The mig21 shock cone is wrong when your speed increases the shock cone should retract into the aircraft not extend it only extends when the aircraft is at lower airspeeds

It is coused by the slight delay since the plane needs to open the launch bays first.
Its insane to me that people still play Ace Combat 7 in 2024.

I suggest the other Ace combats, most of them are miles better than 7. 6 is pretty good, X is fun and Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies is the best
