this guy needs more followers. knows his stuff. i stumbled upon the channel cause I was looking for an e55 amg. will continue to follow his e55 videos.
I'm not even all the way though the video, and I am blown away with this vehicle. I absolutely love all of its features, especially the cruise control launch control, only active in 3rd gear. That is so unique. I look forward to watching more of your videos, love your trans am!
These are unique. Downpipe through the K member is a trick not a lot of people know about. Also the smart lock on the turn stalk was an excellent idea. Great job.
What I love most about your car is if you hadn't pointed those mods out, nobody would ever know. So clean and unassuming in every way. It's a work of art sir
This is a seriously top quality production you made...... for starters, whenever I see someone speak without the use of fillers I'm all ears!... your edit job was near perfect.
Couldn’t stop watching 2:06 to 2:33. Never really took the time to look at the trans am content, just always seen it chillin in the background and heard you mention it in many videos.
Being an ex mechanic, I'm very rarely impressed, but dude you are definitely a cut above the rest of the car shows on UA-cam. With just what you did with your trans brake is pure genius! I have a 2013 Cadillac cts-v coupe(my profile pic) and I'm going to be doing some serious upgrades soon. Definitely subscribed.
Hey Alex! It's Luis I used to have the red Camaro. Great to see that your Trans AM is doing great. Keep it up. If you ever want to review my SS sedan let me know.
Man that is a very clean and unique TA. Turbo isn't my thing but it's yours and you did it sweet. I got 665, trying to stay NA but to keep up these days I think I'm going to have to go with laser printed internals, even higher compression "I'm at 11.8/1 and back in 04 that was about all you could reasonably street" and probably meth and nitrous. Anyway, I appreciate the work and even more the thought you put in that beauty
I'm a diehard Ford guy, have an 03 cobra with 21,000 miles, but that being said I was actually raised in a family full of Pontiacs. I love that bodystyle Trans am and my favorite car and the car I learned to drive in was a 78 Trans am with the Pontiac 6.6 W72 engine. I'm actually looking for a 2000-2002 low mileage black Trans am with the ws6 package to go with my cobra. One of my friends growing up had a red firehawk that caused me to really like the newer body style
Love the tech in the car but most of all love the car itself and never gets old or boring to look at. Last love the stock integrated look of the whole car. Cool to the bone.
This all seems very well done clean and operational. It doesn't look like u have just been needlessly throwing money and parts at the car. All of your mods seem very well thought out. I really like how you use the cruise control wiring and factory switches to control different things on the car what a great idea. Super nice man.
your setup is amazing and defenitly unique! the launch control with your cruise is something i had been thinking of for a while and im glad you actually when through and did it!
Always liked this generation trans am. It’s really cool to see someone take good care of one and add such cool mods. I haven’t seen many recently where I live leading me to believe they are dying 😢.
LegitStreetCars I couldn't agree with juiced71 more. Seriously slick and well edited video, and some slick mods too, you could show a few of the big 'tubers a thing or two for sure. Subbed after less than 30 seconds as I just knew I'd enjoy the video. Love your approach, adore your car, (I love keeping a car functional but fast. She's a sleeper for sure!) and I look forward to more videos from you in the future. I have a feeling you'll generate quite a following now this has been thrown up on UA-cam's home page! Kudos from the UK!
Your car is absolutely amazing, I love it. I only have a regular 94 Lt1 though. I love your solution of putting an air compressor in your trunk, also the valves for the air springs.
Wes Denkov Luckily we have some pretty big names here. You can't go wrong with sound performance, speed Inc on the Northside or Straightline that's south on Joliet or new lenox
This is why you cant be biased. Id normally not watch videos that are based on working on american made trans am. As i really only have japanese stuff (240sx rb25 guy) this guy is down to earth and knowledgable glad i didnt just click past when i saw the trans am. Thanks for the tips. I had no clue what that boost activated cutout did or was learned somethin new!
I know this is a 3 year old video but I know exactly where this was recorded. I used to live in Norridge and would also “drive by” in that area for fun... looking at the video as in a market for a Gen. 4 bird. Awesome video!
I have a 95 Lt1 formula, this is what I'm shooting for. high hp street car. gonna keep the lt1 tho love being an underdog. I have the trans perform button and in going to have it be so when pressed it changes the tune.
Will's performance tech yea its unique only to the firebird such a unique and a head of its time feature I love it when I would race. Not stressing the trans. All the time
I have a gen2 F-body turbo TA WS-6 car, & I'd love 2 try some of this. Right now my car is all stock and goes right around 15 seconds in the quarter. With a good tune I think I could see 14's. But I'd like to see at least 13's, without the upgrades being too obvious, because they would devalue my pace car. Of course mine has the old Pontiac motor, so only the principles behind these mods might be applicable.
Wow man you dove deep in that car and I appreciate the hard work and for helping out some much people with pointers and sharing alot of neat stuff, thats beautiful machine you have clean and mean
I feel like any f body/c5 is the new poor man's American sports/super car. But with a lot more reliabity and much easier to maintain. LS power is a force to be reckoned with!
awesome videos buddy. I would love too have a channel like yours I've been talking about doing it for years but just don't really have the content to keep people intersted.... anyhow good job. and LOVE your E55!
douglass enriquez Thanks so much Douglass.I was the same way and just decided to try it and see what happens. Check out my first video on the blue Mustang, it's funny
I actually have a car that may be coming in soon and I'm going to be doing around the same thing this car has in it do you have any extra information that you could put out to help with any LS1 engine owner's that first start out?
Very ingenious mods here! Very professional presentation as well. Loved everything except giving up the cruise control. I love using cruise but I guess this depends if this is your daily driver or not. Keep up the good work!
LegitStreetCars: mind sharing your dyno tuner? My white ws6 w ls6 ported heads, 590 cam and full exhaust need attn. Not expecting 1k hp but 400+ would be nice.
Nothing hotter than a powerful fast car that still looks stock inside and out!! Gorgeous!!!
Sleepers are the best!
Genius! Haven't seen a Ws6 with such unique and useful mods. interior looks so clean and stock, yet so many hidden features. Keep up the great work👍
Ron B Thanks a lot Ron. Appreciate that
Ron B I haven't either.. Mine is all stock other than appearance .. Looks like I have some work to do 🤘
Amazing!
I love it when car guys are also car fans. Keep it up Brother!
this guy needs more followers. knows his stuff. i stumbled upon the channel cause I was looking for an e55 amg. will continue to follow his e55 videos.
Daniel Thanks Daniel, means a lot
Thumbs up for A/C👍
Got to love it
Definitely needed for those Chicago summers.
I'm not even all the way though the video, and I am blown away with this vehicle. I absolutely love all of its features, especially the cruise control launch control, only active in 3rd gear. That is so unique. I look forward to watching more of your videos, love your trans am!
Thanks Steve, so glad you like it.
Alex
These are unique. Downpipe through the K member is a trick not a lot of people know about. Also the smart lock on the turn stalk was an excellent idea. Great job.
Thank you Sir.
not sure if I missed it but did you do a video showing how you pulled that off?
What I love most about your car is if you hadn't pointed those mods out, nobody would ever know. So clean and unassuming in every way. It's a work of art sir
This is a seriously top quality production you made...... for starters, whenever I see someone speak without the use of fillers I'm all ears!... your edit job was near perfect.
Couldn’t stop watching 2:06 to 2:33. Never really took the time to look at the trans am content, just always seen it chillin in the background and heard you mention it in many videos.
I thought this would be a cheesy video, but I was wrong, enjoyed your mods, your professionalism and video. Nice work
Your car is freakin' FANTASTIC! I have a WS6 as well, but it's no where even close to being on this technological level. Well done sir... well done.
Carlos Clivilles Thanks Carlos, appreciate you watching
LegitStreetCars where you got those rear spring airbags ? I need a pair for my ws6.... please let me know..
93 lt1 formula here, love your build man. Can't get enough of it.
I really like how clean and streetable you've kept it while making all that power. Very impressive, even before considering all the small details!
It really seems like you know a ton about not only cars but also fabrication and engineering as well. Fantastic work, glad I found your videos!
Freakin sweet! Im impressed with your factory style mods. Its rare that people do them right!!!
nick elias Thanks Nick
Being an ex mechanic, I'm very rarely impressed, but dude you are definitely a cut above the rest of the car shows on UA-cam. With just what you did with your trans brake is pure genius! Hey Alex! It's Luis I used to have the red Camaro. Great to see that your Trans AM is doing great. Keep it up. If you ever want to review my SS sedan let me know.
Whats up dude! Hope you are doing well. Are you still in the military. We should meet up one day. Send me a message.
Alex
Man that is a very clean and unique TA. Turbo isn't my thing but it's yours and you did it sweet. I got 665, trying to stay NA but to keep up these days I think I'm going to have to go with laser printed internals, even higher compression "I'm at 11.8/1 and back in 04 that was about all you could reasonably street" and probably meth and nitrous.
Anyway, I appreciate the work and even more the thought you put in that beauty
Nicely done! Clean setup.
troy anguin Thanks Troy
The license plate air jacks are slick as hell.
Dude! You are a genius with your unique mods! Also that ws6 looks sick with the chrome wheels and red brake calipers on the clean white paint.
One of the best videos ever! You sir are awesome!
I'm a diehard Ford guy, have an 03 cobra with 21,000 miles, but that being said I was actually raised in a family full of Pontiacs. Sweet ride, I like the cleverness and ingenuity of your mods! 👍
Love the compressor in the trunk.
You could also use it for air jacks !
Hoonatic Bloggs no. they don't work with compressed air. generally nitrogen
Awesome build my friend! Best of luck with it!
Love the tech in the car but most of all love the car itself and never gets old or boring to look at. Last love the stock integrated look of the whole car. Cool to the bone.
Alpha Ghost Thanks so much Alpha
Awesome car inside and out nice job man well done.

I really like how you use the cruise control wiring and factory switches to control different things on the car what a great idea. Super nice man.
Unbelievably great build!
your setup is amazing and defenitly unique! the launch control with your cruise is something i had been thinking of for a while and im glad you actually when through and did it!
Are you a engineer? The projects you do make me think you are. As always good job.
m smith Haha thanks man. No I was a mechanic for about 13 years professionally and for the last 4 I've worked as a shop foreman for a Large fleet
Finally a channel with a sick WS6. Looking forward to seeing more of it!
Thanks for sharing. I like how you used factory accessories to operate your race electronics. Clean.
That air system and cutout are dope!
Just discovered your channel. What a great quality build on that trans am -- and I'm a ford guy. Subscribed.
Soren Lausen Thanks!
This car is truly amazing!
Always liked this generation trans am. It’s really cool to see someone take good care of one and add such cool mods. I haven’t seen many recently where I live leading me to believe they are dying 😢.
Probably one of your coolest videos yet! Congrats on your W211! I'll be watching for your build on MB World.
best build out there I'm proud of you# being smart is a gift
Some slick shit right there!!! Nice job!
juiced71 Thanks so much!

Love your channel man. Glad you have your shop and full time UA-cam.
what an amazing machine. wow. to say "good job" is a massive understatement. ill just say this "I'm jealous"
a very well built car, cool mods.
Good job man, your channel is starting to take off!
What are you using for a transmission to achieve the 4 speed automatic with a trans brake?
Its so cool to see stuff like this! I love the cruise control trans break and the AC!! Very very cool!!
This would be ideal on mine
Damn this is awesome
This is such an awesome build and absolutely beautiful car. Hats off to you and thanks for sharing it with us.
Nice build sir!
Your car is absolutely amazing, I love it. I only have a regular 94 Lt1 though.
I love your solution of putting an air compressor in your trunk, also the valves for the air springs.
Hi. Which Dyno shop would you recommend in the Chicagoland area to have my car tuned?
Thank you
Wes Denkov Luckily we have some pretty big names here. You can't go wrong with sound performance, speed Inc on the Northside or Straightline that's south on Joliet or new lenox
this is definitely the coolest TA I've ever seen.
I have a 2001 ws6 also, has a 540 bbc and 2 speed powerglide with trans break . using the cruise control is slick.
Very nice setups.
that is one badass car man!!! got me an arctic white 98 trans myself!!
This is why you cant be biased. Id normally not watch videos that are based on working on american made trans am. Freddy Chimea Thanks so much Freddy. The cutout is badass!
I know this is a 3 year old video but I know exactly where this was recorded. I used to live in Norridge and would also “drive by” in that area for fun... looking at the video as in a market for a Gen. 4 bird. Awesome video!

daytona4406 I'm with you, I have a 97 ws6 and I'm also keeping the LT1 ...
Will's performance tech yea thanks gotta keep em that way. its a great platform and that great looking body. classic cars.
daytona4406 hmm does a 95 lt1 corvette auto have that feature??
Tyler Schwartz yes they have the auto trans performance, I had a 95 TA that has it.
Will's performance tech yea its unique only to the firebird such a unique and a head of its time feature I love it when I would race. Not stressing the trans. All the time
slick setup..good job
Some righteous stuff, love it
Beautiful car man, and it sounds amazing!
I have a gen2 F-body turbo TA WS-6 car, & I'd love 2 try some of this. Right now my car is all stock and goes right around 15 seconds in the quarter. With a good tune I think I could see 14's. Very well built. Nice!
Launch control to Major Tom... 🎵🎶🎵🎹 Awesome mods keep em' coming!
Sanctus Vianney Thanks for watching.
Keep making videos man, the subscribers will come. Nice work.
Houston Thanks so much Houston
thats the one i just got for mine. you happen have some pics whit the fans. im trying too put ac in mine but fans in front get inway
????
I have a Yank 3600 in my '02 NHRA T/A. Is it possible to configure the cruise switch to go to lockup as you described?
I'm impressed with that trans brake button idea. I have a stalk on my car doing nothing, so I'll probably be stealing that!
Wow man you dove deep in that car and I appreciate the hard work and for helping out some much people with pointers and sharing alot of neat stuff, thats beautiful machine you have clean and mean
so did i understand you well that transbrake switch only works in 3rd??? how do you launch it?
Not in 3rd gear but in manual 3. So if you look at the factory shifter put it in 3. It still starts in 1st and goes through the gears normally.
i subscribed a while ago, but i just gotta say, you blew my mind with this video.... you sir are a modern day James Bond! 💪✊😉
I swear that area you were driving looks familiar. Oak Park, IL?
i understood everything you said , awesome job
Erand Hasani So glad, that's my main goal is to be technical but not so much that most don't get it
How much ceiling clearance do you have for your car lift to fit your car into the garage? How high can you get the car off the ground as well?
Really awesome dude! Thanks for the article link!
You are cool.Nice work.Greetings from Greece
I feel like any f body/c5 is the new poor man's American sports/super car. But with a lot more reliabity and much easier to maintain. LS power is a force to be reckoned with!
AWESOME WS6 AWESOME FEATURES! !!!!! I'll definitely going to do some of these features to my 97 ws6 LT1 and keep it as sleeper as possible...
Awesome work man very creative and genius ! love the WS6 !
BTW, GM should hire you as one of their engineers!!!
I'm all about ac too! Got a 99 ek civic w a integra GSR swap, rocking ac and ps 😎 your ta is a piece of art brother amazing build!
your car and your ideas are truly inspiring. Love your channel and contents. keep up the good work and be safe.
awesome videos buddy.
2:50 *Holy Bends Batman!!!!* i know that took some time, looks good man!
Great success! Good for you, my dude!
Cool car man. Ive got a lt f body camaro that's getting ls swapped and eventually turbo'd as well. Cool to see other f body owners on youtube!
So what's the best 2step.? I have a 99 Ls1 A4 msd 2step or Leignfelter bro.? I have a Trans am also man you have Trans am goals.!
Camm Hendrixx They are all pretty similar. I'd go Lingenfelter
Damn dude! Your pretty smart to think of doing all that shit im impressed! Nice car.
I actually have a car that may be coming in soon and I'm going to be doing around the same thing this car has in it do you have any extra information that you could put out to help with any LS1 engine owner's that first start out?
Best bet is to ask questions here in the comment section or message me on Instagram @legitstreetcars. Id be glad to help.
Hey @legitstreetcars does this car use have the same parts as a firehawk does? 🤔
I would add, one of my first thoughts is to buy a different Northstar V8 from salvage, and work on it. That means one from the '05 year and up.
Nice car. Does anyone know if those are the 18" c5 deep dish wheels?
Very ingenious mods here! Very professional presentation as well. Loved everything except giving up the cruise control. I love using cruise but I guess this depends if this is your daily driver or not. Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much. Ya I never used the cruise but I did feel bad taking it away. Its the only option the car is missing that it came with.
Alex
You're a Boss
Dude you have a lot of cool stuff on that car 😎
Are you able to shift the automatic with no issuse?
LegitStreetCars: mind sharing your dyno tuner? My white ws6 w ls6 ported heads, 590 cam and full exhaust need attn. Not expecting 1k hp but 400+ would be nice.
I actually tune the car myself. Ive been using HP tuners and just renting the dyno for the last 4 years.
Alex
Looking for a local shop in IL for my f body. Who did the tuning/work?
