Here are some of the coolest and unique modifications I've performed to my 1000 horsepower 2001 Turbo Trans Am LS1. Boost activated cutout, on board air system, Fast and Furious style boost button, launch control and more. Enjoy and comment with any questions. I'd love to help.

These are unique. Downpipe through the K member is a trick not a lot of people know about. Also the smart lock on the turn stalk was an excellent idea. Great job.

I'm a diehard Ford guy, have an 03 cobra with 21,000 miles, but that being said I was actually raised in a family full of Pontiacs. I love that bodystyle Trans am and my favorite car and the car I learned to drive in was a 78 Trans am with the Pontiac 6.6 W72 engine. I'm actually looking for a 2000-2002 low mileage black Trans am with the ws6 package to go with my cobra. One of my friends growing up had a red firehawk that caused me to really like the newer body style

Man that is a very clean and unique TA. Turbo isn't my thing but it's yours and you did it sweet. I got 665, trying to stay NA but to keep up these days I think I'm going to have to go with laser printed internals, even higher compression "I'm at 11.8/1 and back in 04 that was about all you could reasonably street" and probably meth and nitrous.
Anyway, I appreciate the work and even more the thought you put in that beauty

Subbed after less than 30 seconds as I just knew I'd enjoy the video. Love your approach, adore your car, (I love keeping a car functional but fast. She's a sleeper for sure!) and I look forward to more videos from you in the future. I have a feeling you'll generate quite a following now this has been thrown up on UA-cam's home page! Gorgeous car! I miss my 99 ws6 very much.
I decided to sell it because I was at a crossroads where I was having too much fun and either needed to sell or if I kept it I was going to sink big money into a setup similar to yours. Regretful.

1999 was a great year for the firebird and camaro. Seems like every car guy eventually faces the crossroads you are speaking of. I just dumped some serious money into a new clutch and suspension parts for my 1990 mustang gt. Thought about selling my car several times over the years, but it never happened. I am glad I still have it. I can fully understand your regrets.

I have a gen2 F-body turbo TA WS-6 car, & I'd love 2 try some of this. Right now my car is all stock and goes right around 15 seconds in the quarter. With a good tune I think I could see 14's. But I'd like to see at least 13's, without the upgrades being too obvious, because they would devalue my pace car. Of course mine has the old Pontiac motor, so only the principles behind these mods might be applicable.

New subscriber here... bought a loaded '93 Z28 new off the showroom floor 24 years ago (had 7 miles on it), thus my love for the T'birds of that gen also. Liking your videos a lot, keep 'em coming!
I like your tech stuff, I'm not a DIY person for anything beyond oil changes & the like but I love seeing guys wrench on things. I'm capable, mostly I just choose to pay someone.
FYI, my daily driver is a 2010 Caddy STS with the Northstar V8. Model year 2010 was the last one they produced the Northstar engine, mine was one of the final ones - made in July of that year - and just has a little over 62k miles on it.
I've been looking at STS-Vs but they are so rare - only 2500 or so were ever built between '06 and '09 - I'm wondering about mods that could be done to my stock '10 Northstar V8. I know this engine has mod possibilities, but given its rarity and perhaps its collectible nature, considering if it might be better to look at other options. I'm not looking for a 9 second quarter-mile anything, just something that will get me in the neighborhood of the 469 hp an STS-V puts out, which means a 12 second car. Any thoughts?
Also the question goes as well to all you guys/gals out there on the comments section, let me know your thoughts please.
Thanks and keep up the great work man.
