Glad to have stumbled upon this video essay. Loved your thoughts. The bastardisation of what feminine is mixed with all the trad wife discourse is really a response to empowered women in general. It all still based in the same principles of the 50s and while i celebrate women for choosing the lives they want, demonsing modern feminism that afforded us this liberty to choose is so regressive and worrying.
the way the divine feminine girlies have twisted and construed spirituality to basically enforce patriarchal gender roles will always throw me for a loop, it wasn't really a surprise to me when I saw the rise of femininity content alongside new age spirituality
Great video and points! I think another factor could be that a lot of us gen z/ millenial girls grew up with this girl boss and hustle culture mindset that was heavily promoted in the 2010s, which often turned out to be more toxic and exhausting than empowering. So as a result, we find ourselves craving a more soft life and this content (seems) to echo that in a way... However, there's nothing soft or easy about being fully depended on a man and having to constantly "proof your value" 🥴
@@susuisfromvenusI understand where @themakeupninja2860 is coming from. So true. However, I think that could work smoothly if your partner is generous, kind and in healed masculine energy. Like you are still a boss babe but your money is yours because he is happy to provide and see you wanting for nothing, stress free like a baby, being cute and growing your ass😚😂
I love your take on this topic. Unfortunately, when I tried to search for videos that explain why current 'divine femininity' is something terrible wrong, most materials are related to why it is a great thing instead. What about the young women who are searching to find themselves? They are told their value is related to the ability to attract a man, being gracious and elegant... I agree with your sentence about how the 'divine femininity' is related to patriarchy. Those women ideology just reinforces the beliefs from 1950s. They say how women need to take out the men out of the pedestal but they put them there instead. Yesterday, I came by a post related to the 'dream life' group in which the so-called 'personal coach' advertised how one'd get any man they wanted and be irresistible if they are in their bs feminine energy. I think the most important thing is being genuine. Thank you for such a valuable video! ❤❤❤
Bs feminine energy is so funny🤣🤣🤣 It’s so true though, a man won’t be attracted to you just because you have feminine energy. If he doesn’t like you he doesn’t like you!! Also, men are not monoliths. Everyone likes something different and that is okay! I am glad you enjoyed my video thank you for supporting ❤️
I like how you are gentle and soft-spoken. Not to give a back handed compliment but there is no reason why a woman should be aggressive. Unless she has been hurt and she is in defense mode in an attempt to regain her power. People also mistake femininity for being docile and being nice( I hope I used the right word, docile) You can be assertive and still be heard with your soft spoken voice.
Totally, the polarity if these 'energies' aren't to do with gender. As Jung tried to explain, we both hold both of those polarities in our psyche and it is important to nurture both :)

Strongly agree. Thank you for your thoughts.
Thank you so much ❤️
I resonate a lot with your perspective & opinion, Divine femininity definitely feels like a romanticised re-packaging of old fashioned gender roles
Absolutely agree. Thanks for watching love❤️
People are lost these days, as if feminine or masculine energies are even gender based. Great video by the way
