I've got a huge gossiping problem, and a big problem with envy. I've never thought of turning envy into admiration, and talking to solve a problem instead of have fun with stories.
Thank you for pointing this out to me, I needed this reminder to be better!

low self-esteem and low self-worth causes people to gossip and envy others. When you learn to love yourself, you wouldn't gossip, you'll begin to admire things in others.

Sister, remeber that God made us all unique and different. Not every woman is meant to be super feminine. Femininity can be lived at many different levels. It has nothing to do with stereotypes but with discovering how God is callling you to love and receive love in your feminine heart in a unique way he’s calling you to.

Thank you for this talk on gossiping. I usually think of myself as someone that doesn't gossip, because I don't have close friends, but your video convinced me that I was actually gossiping about one person at least. She is not a saint, but this doesn't mean that I can let my tongue to talk whatever it comes up with. Thank you 😘 because you made it gracefully and politely, and I am deeply ashamed of my gossiping and have a big resolution to not do it again.

I adore your channel! It’s spot on what I need to hear right now and I’m connecting with my inner child and feminine self. I’ve struggled with depression and bipolar disorder for years and never though the fix to everything was healing my feminine side and getting closer to God. Once things started changing, it caught me so off guard because I’ve been taking medication and regularly going to therapy for years and this was the answer all along!!! You are awesome for making these it’s wonderful to see you make these with such passion :)

Finally a video about feminine energy that doesn’t focus only on getting a man. I have my man, who I aspire to be my husband in the near future. I find myself being more in touch with my masculine energy when being with him because I came to realize that my feminine energy is debilitated due to struggles of anxiety, depression and OCD. I’ve always focused on fixing and targeting these issues, but when I step out and see the bigger picture, it’s a deeper problem than just mental health. There is something in me that is truly broken, and that is my feminine energy. I want to feel free, loved and peaceful. I felt this way after watching this video and letting your words sink in. Thank you so much, you’ve gained another subscriber. ❤

These were great points, beautifully articulated. My partner has complimented me on my ability to have fun even when things don’t go as planned, compared to his rigid family. My family tends to be more relaxed/go-with-the-flow. I never realized it was a desirable trait I possessed that others struggle with until he pointed it out.
p.s. I was admiring your pretty, sheer head scarf before you even mentioned it. The sheerness gives an ethereal quality.

All of your advice is spot on. I think these are things that women need to know when they are truly ready to live a clean and purposeful life. One thing that has helped me is to focus and remain loyal to the things that are important to me (faith/family) and keep the other stuff out. Also, as a married woman, I might add to avoid/limit contact with people who exhibit these traits.

I want to specifically thank you for the first point in this video about inner resourcefulness. The way you worded this was extremely eye opening to me. I always knew I was being selfish by being grumpy or discontent with circumstances but I had never considered how narrow minded that makes me if I can't find joy and interest in any circumstance. Truly, thank you. I'm going to try to apply this practically in my day to day. I really need that wisdom so I can show up as a gracious mom to my 5 small children who often need me more than I'm always willing to be needed ;)

I feel calm and like I’ve got myself together for a couple weeks, but when pms hits I’m not as calm or patient, or emotionally reasonable. Oh I loved the last point on children! Everytime I tell people I can't wait to have children, they are shocked. Many 'people', no its many women in my circle don't want to have kids and they are all married. It sucks having to wait to have something that they don't want to have, but I pray God grants my fiancé and I children someday. We want a family and children are part of our life plans. Children can teach you so many things, especially patience and curiosity. I don’t understand why people wouldn't want to have some, that are a part of them as a couple.

Inner resourcefulness is an interesting phrase- reminds me of the word "equanimity"!
Personally, I think a good way not to mindlessly gossip about others is to actually not run away from your urge or surpress it with prayer, while prayer is the more benevolent response not all of us are so pious. Although it may sound counterintuitive, i find trying to understand the person i want to gossip about- their motivations and my own feelings towards their transgression, transforms the act of gossiping into an opportunity for self reflection- exploring why _I_ find the person in questions behavior so distasteful and maybe what that says about myself, and what i would do in the same circumstances. And each friend having the chance to do the same. It not only brings us closer to ourselves but eases our hatred of others and slowly the urge in us to gossip mindlessly.
And every time you want to use a demeaning word to describe someone in front of your friends you have to justify the use of that word. Then the conversation has to end with a plan for yourself and/or that friend who is the subject of the gossip.
Basically gossip can be an opportunity to study your own prejudices and lack of fulfilment in your own relationships. Just a thought!

The story about the person you met who brought up all the radical leftist talking points is interesting to me. I feel like I used to be able to just go along to get along and I am still able to be friendly with anyone at least in a work setting. I have a very leftist coworker who doesn’t really know my politics bc I don’t air them out, and we get along well. But I recently lost a friend bc the way they spoke to me during our last convo about a very touchy subject was so disrespectful and dehumanizing that I couldn’t consider continuing the friendship. I feel like my threshold for tolerance has gone down. But I guess there is a difference between work relationships and random people in public vs the people one chooses to be close with.

Head covering can feel rather awkward for awhile, it's not just you, I felt like that too.
But once I found 2 or 3 styles and methods that I liked ( and especially in a few flattering colors ) it got much easier.
Personally, I have some Mennonite friends, and admired their round and oval, black or white clip on " veils " ( or "doilies" as my friends have good naturedly teased 😅) and asked if they'd find it offensive or inappropriate if I started wearing one, since im christian too, but not exactly Mennonite - they said it was perfectly fine, especially since I already had the same basic modesty standards as them ( skirts and dresses, no cleavage, no knees ) so I wasn't going to wear it with shorts and a tank top or something that would misrepresent their community.
All that to say, the clip on veil is an incredibly diverse and easy to wear style that is highly personally customizable and can be even tailor made, at home or by various companies that offer the service; I wear it regularly, as well as full scarves or hats, and highly recommend it! 🙂👍

As for your last point, well said! I am one of the people who doesn't want kids, but I never thought negatively of them. In fact, all the kids in my family become my babies the moment they're born❤❤ I love your channel so much

Children are the future, it is my job as a mom of 4 adult kids to love, guide and give them values. I have done a great job if I see them grown up as beautiful human beings. Thank you for this video.❤

Jasmyne, I am usually surrounded by masculine people. Both girls and boys and i find I've developed some masculine traits. Such as gossiping and swearing uncontrollably, any tips to help?

Same here, I work in a factory and feel like I have to be tough and hard to survive. I am miserable, I want to be who God created me to be.

My best advice is this still try to be feminine. I know the world seem dark and rough but, find constructive ways to be feminine. If people try to come against find I polite and truthful way to stand up for yourself. Show them no matter how they feel about you you would still love and be yourself. Yeah, you would probably lose a few people out of your life but, it's better being around a bunch of people and you still feel alone and spending your whole life lying to yourself.

What? Gossiping is a feminine activity so you are acting according to your sex

I always try to shy away from gossiping. Many people think it’s harmless but the Bible speaks very sternly against doing so. Also, while you look beautiful with the head covering, isn’t it supposed to cover your hair? I thought that was the point of wearing one. Any one with more insight on this let me know!

It’s supposed to cover your head, not necessarily every morsel of your hair 💛 this is the style of the women in my church. Ive tried looking for more information on the exact instructions for Christian women but I can’t find anything super specific… just a “head covering”

I love your reflection on envy! I've noticed within myself and in women content spaces a tendency towards vicious envy that often extends beyond mere internal self-deprecation. I don't know if you're familiar with Sarah Therese, but the women in her comments section are so nasty. They can't take it that she's a fit, capable mama of five with a beautiful home. It's unfathomable to them that some women might be better homemakers (it is a job after all) or indeed, be more diligent and fruitful. I think choosing to be inspired by people in such a healthy way of turning envy from something poisonous into something helpful.

Or you can go to that person that makes mistakes and tell them directly that they do something wrong instead of gossiping about that person to whomsoever
