its because of light pollution. if you want to watch stars you need to go outside of major cities and towns and away from street lamps. less light surrounding you, you will see stars better. there is light pollution map online so you can find where on Philippines you can go to star gaze
if its really dark you can even see milky way. its scary to think that lots of people never seen it because of light pollution. in america there was a major power black out and people were calling police that they see strange lights in the night sky... they basically saw milky way for the first time and got scared
