I love Claire's video's, but really? Can't think of one better person in the entire world? I love BA's videos but people seem to be giving these test kitchen chefs godlike qualities for absolutely no reason. Again, I love the videos but it's more than a little weird how people are now idolizing them as some sort of religious figures. Very strange.

@@FeliciaKrismanta I think Toblerone would be easy compared to the M&Ms episode. Her goal usually is to make an improved and natural flavor (gourmet) but it was her favorite snack so it was all about duplicating them basically by hand. I'd rather her do ones that will be easy to improve, end up delicious and be easy for fans at home to duplicate in the kitchen. Maybe like sour gummy worms.

It's weird how much claire (and the test kitchen in general) made me like cooking. Before, I used to hate it because I felt so out of sorts and like I had no idea what was going on. But I started watching BA's videos and I realized that sometimes, even professionals have trouble making good food and that it really is all about trial and error. They gave me the confidence to push through that discomfort and actually try cooking and now? It's a lot of fun, and it saves me a lot of money. I only cook for myself, but that's okay because it means that my food is exactly how I like it. Anyways, if you see this Claire, thank you so much. You changed my life.

My friends make jokes about how I'm obsessed with BA test kitchen peeps, but they are so good for my soul. I was just going through so much stress, and this completely mellowed me out. I love Claire so much because she gets stressed, she's honest about it, and then she keeps going. Even if she doesn't finish one gourmet makes, she's ready to go at it again with a different snack. It makes me feel like I can keep going too.

Claire brings me a lot of peace. I used to be afraid of traveling and doing different things, but now I'm so motivated to visit New York and just enjoy the simple things. Cooking is such an honest profession; I'm a teacher so it's nice to see someone just do what they love bc it's great. I loved this video and I'm glad they are recognizing Claire. Thanks!

Claire, thank you for showing us part of your life and for giving us a little behind the scenes. I do enjoy baking and cooking myself, and watching Bon Appetit videos helps me unwind a bit from the day. Also, I have worked in a bakery for 14 years and used to fry doughnuts, sometimes iced and filled doughnuts, and bake off other bakery goods.

Painters tape is a good idea. I ruined all my Tupperware by writing on it with washable markers. They never really came off all the way.

Use a rubber! *remembers americans are weird* USE AN ERASER just ya regular old white lead pencil eraser. I do this a lot since i buy stuff from opshops and some genius thought using sharpie on plastic lids or wherever on the thing that isnt discreetly on the bottom DIRECTLY on the product is a good idea. Anyhoo after many dishwashes hand washing and rubbing at it with a cloth the thing that ended up working was a rubber & it was by accident because i was journaling and i looked up at the jar on the table with the big black ugly 2 on my pretty pink lidded floral glass jar and decided to get some anger/stress out rubbing at the friggen sharpie and to my amazement it came off like friggen pencil would. Cue hallelujah hope that helps. It was like months maybe even a year after buying it. So im sure itll work. Give it some elbow grease and make sure its a sturdy proper rubber and not those more modern cutesy lil ones thatll snap or break with the slightest force. My rubber has been in use since like 2001 lol so ya know shorter and fatter the better.
