@@barbrasmith410 Fermentation is introducing good bacteria to something. Pickling is just adding something to a brine and waiting until it tastes like the brine.
@@barbrasmith410 Pickling is fermenting in brine or vinegar. It's a safe way to prepare food, because you can reach a ph that kills bad bacteria. So, um just stick to brad's face at cooking is a precise science if someone want's to tell you the difference matters that much.

Seems like she's already well supported tbh, not everyone wants to do youtube full time dude deal with it. If she wanted that she'd have done it by now. She seems very happy where she is and I'm pretty sure BA values all their chefs, the atmosphere is always so pleasant so it seems like they have fun while working. Maybe she's actually happy with what she does and doesn't want to change that 😧

A Micro plane grater is one of the BEST kitchen items I’ve bought in past few years and I’ve spent $1000’s of dollars. Wish I’d purchased long ago and I’m getting a course one now too for soft cheese and potatoes etc. It is so so worth it. They’re razor sharp, easy to clean, many uses.
I just made 8 cloves of garlic paste in about 45 seconds last night with it. The one with the yellow handle on amazon is awesome! (Deiss Pro, $12) I literally was just telling my wife that it’s one of my best purchases when using it last night and I buy a ton of kitchen stuff.
Brad and Claire remind me of Luke and Lorelai on Gilmore Girls.

"How do you make bread without an oven?" Yes griddle flatbread, yes dutch oven, but you can also sous vide or even boil it in water, comes out cakey though unless it's sealed

You can make bread on the stove on low heat with a cloth put over the pot. My grandpa has been doing it for decades. No oven needed

I will say, I have successfully made banana bread in a rice cooker when I had no oven! Don't know if it works for all breads
You can actually make cake on rice cooker! Only the texture is kinda different with one baked on the oven.. I sometimes make brownies or cake on rice cooker :)
