Low income earners work longer hours, overtime just to make up with their low wages. This is the bitter truth. I pay you 900 and 1100 a month which is insufficient and the poor worker does over time to earn 1600-1800 hence he is hardly at home. Its all about profits and KPI
Anybody know why local girls and local guys doesn't get married
Financial issue, long bto waiting period, high housing cost and everything is backed by interest. You may end up losing interest on marrying. Marrying a foreigner may be a way out to getting an affordable place to stay with permanent property.

From my perspective, local girls like ang mos and/ or rich guys. I have asked a few local girls out when I was still single and broke, none successful.
My first GF (now wife) who is a foreigner didn't care about that

Whoa very fitting ... ive been dating a singaporean and weve been talking about marriage...it was sweet until i learn how hard it is for foreigner to get a job

Girrrl, your husband has to work to pay bills.
Then sg men should take and marry SG girls then 😅😅😅.. it's easy no, no need to financially support her or her family.
Those SG guys marrying foreign women, nobody forces them (?), so they should take their responsibility and assume their decision.

When you have a barrage of news driving the same notion against the marriage between local and abs foreign brides without showing the other side of the news on successful marriages of this group, how can you be considered fair and balanced.

@@w.s.6837 What barrage of news? The report says there are successful marriages, but it also highlights the problems that people (primarily the wives) face - issues which should not be swept under the carpet.
